Hi everyone, is anyone else 1dpo?! Let's survive the TWW together if so 😀 DD is almost 2 and this is cycle #2 trying for baby #2!

@KT199 so sorry you didn’t sleep well, it’s such a whirlwind, but like @CatLady93 said, you’re pregnant today 😍 I hope the later test is reassuring and you start to settle into the pregnancy! I can imagine it’s a massive shock still!!

So I did the boots test this AM, and this is what I got. Looks like a vvvvfl, but not sure if these tests are known for indents - I am reading mixed reviews! What do you all think?

I'm good thank you! I'm planning to test on Monday if AF doesn't show. I've been SO tempted but the main thing stopping me is if this is it, I'd like my partner to be able to be a part of finding out 🤞🏼 Had some twinges etc but main thing that's making me curious is the sex drive thing as it was my main sign when I was pregnant with DD and when I had a (potential) chemical a few months the ago (had faint lines then they went away). So just keeping my fingers crossed for now and trying to keep busy 😮‍💨😮‍💨

@Junip2 I can absolutely see the line there!! In person does it look like it has colour to it? Or is it more grey?? I believe indents are often lacking colour if that's helpful. Do you have another brand you could try? I hope this is it for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I've been trying to keep up but life is so busy at the moment. AF is due towards the end of next week but I'm going to test on Friday the 13th if nothing as I have a night out. Not sure if I'm getting signs or it's just my mind being hyper away, the odd flash of feeling sick but nothing more, a wee electrical type stabby pain low on the left, and more mucus type stuff than I'd expect at this point.

Thank you, @CatLady93 they were defo not squinters so I don’t feel too bad that I’ve not tested this morning. But will buy a test over the weekend that isn’t classed as a sensitive one and see where we are at. I’ve even checked they’ve dried down with lines and they have 🤞

I can see something @Junip2 !! My boots one was the strongest positive I got so defo sensitive!!

re my test, I feel like I can see a hint of pink, but nothing convincing. I don’t have any early tests to take, so I think I will wait until the weekend now to retest and I can’t deal with obsessing over the line which might not even be there 😂

How are you guys getting on?

I've burst into tears about 3 times and had to leave the room when DP was cooking mince earlier so I might test in the morning. Wish I could have wine 🤣

I'm doing alright. Remained strong (just) and not tested! 10dpo tomorrow, period due Monday. Getting a bit inpatient though I have to say 😂

Good luck! I think I'd have rather had the BFP, but in it's absence, wine will do!

I'm not too bad thank you, bit wobbly but awaiting the affectionately named "wtf" appointment to be booked in at the clinic after official test day on Monday. I think it's then that I'll learn of any differences in treatment plans and find out when I can go again. Financially I'll just have to make it work!

Well done for remaining strong! Can absolutely understand your impatience and I have everything crossed for you! What day do you plan to test?

As for me, I’m trying to live in the moment and be happy / excited but I’m really nervous in all honesty. I stupidly did another test last night and started to spiral a little as there was no progression from the day before. I took it at roughly the same time, the first day was on about a 6 hour hold (no idea how I managed it) and yesterday was 4 hours so just trying to tell myself it’s just that! I think for my own sanity I need to not test, but easier said than done when all you do is think the worst and look for reassurance 😟

@KT199 hey lovely, absolutely fine for there to be no progression at those times! HCG doubles every 48 hours so it's really normal to not see a difference after 24 hours, especially if the test is done in the evening where your wee has been diluted all day ❤️ If you want reassurance then I'd do another one first thing in the morning in the next day or 2 🥰

@CatLady93 I admire your patience and determination to wait!!! I on the other hand can’t even go one day without waiting. 0 self control over here.

@KT199 I would say totally normal like @CatLady93 said! With my first there progression was quite slow, and my little girl is now 2, so clearly no issues there!

So I did a couple of cheapies this morning with FMU. These came up in the time limit,
but I am always stressing re indents as I’ve been stung in the past. What do you guys think? I might pop to the shops today and get an early detection🤔

Tested this morning and it was BFN. I could just be mega hormonal I guess. Will test again next Friday before my night out if no AF but I'm not hopeful.

Hey gang, I tested this morning (oops). 10dpo and second morning urine, only held for 2 hours. WHY did I do it?! Obviously BFN. Not sure what to think. I know logically that it's probably a bit early, but I don't have a point of reference as I only tested at 15dpo with DD, and every pregnancy is different anyway! Really hard sometimes to not get bummed out as it took us 8-9 tries last time around and I'm plus size so sometimes struggle to trust my body (even though it's done it before). MEH!! Hopefully it's just too early but the more likely scenario is obviously that it hasn't worked this time 🫤

@CatLady93 ahh I am so sorry about the BFN - did you do an early test? To reassure you, 10dpo is still so early, you might have only just implanted, so you’re still in it for this cycle! And you’ve had other symptoms too, so honestly I am still very positive for you!!
I totally know what you mean about trusting your body. I have a pretty bad relationship with mine too and never trust things will actually work. Easy to say, but try not to feel too down..your BFP could just be around the corner❤️
