Hi everyone, is anyone else 1dpo?! Let's survive the TWW together if so 😀 DD is almost 2 and this is cycle #2 trying for baby #2!

I'm crossing absolutely everything for everyone.

I'm feeling okay thank you. I was apprehensive going into it as my previous two have been incredibly painful. This, however, was a very pleasant surprise and wasn't uncomfortable at all. The lovely consultant did it and it went seamlessly.

I'll probably start testing from day 5. With my DD I was positive on day 4. With my second it was day 5.

So maybe Tuesday! If I can wait until Wednesday then I'll be off work but that's a big "if"... you?

Ah so glad it wasn’t so painful!! Oh wow, you’ve not got long to wait! How exciting!

I think I’ll start on Thursday or Friday next week…..but let’s see!😂

6DPO and approaching the stage where I tend to get obsessive and irritated at this TWW 🤣 the next few days will drive me up the wall, I am such an impatient person!!

@KT199 I’d be feeling the same if I was you! Maybe over the weekend you could👀

I have been getting back pain and stomach cramps, but turns out I have a UTI so now having to take antibiotics which is not ideal. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hahahaha, oh do not tempt me!! The problem with the weekend in the TWW is every trip to the loo I have an opportunity 🤣 it least in work it’s not possible!!

Oh, try not to worry too much!! Our first cycle trying I ended up in the position too in my TWE and I discussed my worry with the dr and they said the antibiotics I was prescribed were only not safe late in pregnancy. I was given nitrofurantoin.

Ahaha that’s so true!! And if you’ve got the tests there, it’s so hard not too. Are you feeling any diff to your usual cycles, or all good?

oh thank you, that’s reassuring! I got a bit upset earlier thinking I’d defo be out this month, but maybe there’s still hope🙏🏼

I don’t seem to have any symptoms at all so far - which is strange for me I usually have bloating as a bare minimum by now and I also tend to get headaches post ovu but didn’t get them either. But defo nothing that makes me think I’m going to get a BFP! I guess it’s still early though at 6DPO.

Yes I can already feel I'm not going to last without testing!! 😂 But that's fine. I've got lots of the easy@home ones, though they have given me evap lines before annoyingly. I think I'll try and hold out until a week tomorrow (Saturday 7th) as that'll be 10dpo 🤞🏼

@KT199 6dpo eek! When are you planning to test? 👀

I want to wait until 10DPO IF I can withhold temptation as I feel a lot of people see faint positives then.. so that would be Tuesday.. but then also the idea of doing it before work is quite off putting to me so I don’t know 😂 like if I go to work having faint lines I won’t be able to concentrate and if it’s negative I’ll just be in a bad mood!

Oh no! If it's any help, I conceived with pneumonia on antibiotics, so absolutely not out! Still, makes you feel rubbish though. Hope you're feeling better soon.

@KT199 - Looks like we are at the same stage and will both aim to hold out until Tuesday!! Not too long now... even if it does feel like forever and a day away.

Normally the weekends fly by and before I know it I’m getting up for work on a Monday morning, however I feel like when I’m waiting test time stops moving! 😂 but technically.. I am closer to 7DPO now than being 6 as the time asleep doesn’t count and I’ll be in bed in a few hours 🤣

How do you keep yourself distracted in your wait?

@KT199 For me it doesn’t seem to matter how busy I am, I still think about it a lot! But I am trying to stay focused on my daughter and work…and not symptom spot😂

Hahahah I watch the same!! 🤣🤣 but I only seem to watch them in my TWW, once I starting getting negative tests myself I scroll past them 😂

My BBT dropped a lot this morning 🤔 Way too early for a mythical implantation dip, but Google tells me there's a secondary estrogen surge around 4dpo which can lower BBT briefly. That made me feel better as I was a bit worried I didn't ovulate or something! Why is TTC a science experiment ffs? 😂😂

I find the whole process a little wild. As teenagers in school, we are told that if we so much as sniff a man, we will be pregnant. Here we are, checking temperatures, ovulation sticks, and in my case, a crap ton of artificial hormones in various forms. 😂

@FlakyAquaQuoter Exactly!! It's mad. Three of my friends got pregnant the very first time they tried.. I'm like... how? 😂

Literally exactly same!!! Three were first time and one was second.. they never even checked ovulation ect. It baffles me!!

My temps are so weird this cycle.. just keep going up. Which normally they kinda plateau.. wonder if I’m get ill.. attached chart below!
