Hi everyone, is anyone else 1dpo?! Let's survive the TWW together if so 😀 DD is almost 2 and this is cycle #2 trying for baby #2!

I’m sat here looking at BFP charts from BBT to see if any are like mine 🤣🤣 (even though it’s only meant to be a “sign” once AF is due. I’m glad I’m not alone looking for clues 🤣

Ah, fingers crossed for you. 10 DPO does seem to be quite a common day for testing positive!!

@KT199 - I've looked back through previous images for both my BFP's and using it as reassurance that I can test. One minute I feel like I just KNOW it'll be positive. The next I feel like there's no possible way it'll be positive. So I'm wildly in between. I'd love an early night just to get it over with, but one of the medications is time sensitive and has to be 10:30pm. So I'll be sat with my headache waiting for bed.

Think ALLLLLLL the positive thoughts, as you are going to get a BFP 🥹!! But I completely understand, I too yo-yo between being hopeful and then counting myself out. I think it’s just a normal part of this journey, sometimes I think not being hopeful might make it hurt less if it’s a BFN, but realistically it doesn’t as deep down your always hoping!

@KT199 - I'm a sucker for going to bed early to make the next day come quicker. All those childhood christmasses taught me that it's the best way!

Thank you, I'm definitely hoping and feeling positive in my gut. But then at the same time get this overwhelming "oh don't be silly!" Feeling which ruins it. Can't tell which is head and which is heart!
I think you're right though, it's all part of the "fun!".

Yeah, I'm all for making it less painful but realistically if I'm gonna fall, I'm gonna fall hard either way. So I'm just gonna let the feelings happen!

I think I went too hard on the hydration because I'm peeing every three bloody minutes.

@FlakyAquaQuoter I can only imagine how you're feeling right now!! Such a huge thing and truly impossible not to obsess over I think even just a little bit. My friend once said to me when I was really nervous the week before our early viability scan for DD, "time will get you there" and I found it so reassuring! As in, time will move, the day will roll around, and you'll greet whatever you need to greet when the time comes. Almost took the pressure off the anticipation a little bit!

@KT199 Me too with the BBT charts/old threads/all sorts 😂 I love looking at the charts on Fertility Friend, just a sucker for data I think?! 😂 also bed at 9 to watch I'm A Celeb is the absolute best. We do it on the regular!

I paid for the Fertility Friend premium or whatever they call it just to look at the pregnancy analysis.. I’m crazy 🤣🤣🤣 realised it basically decreases each day you don’t input a + test result, I mean doesn’t take a genius to work that part out 😂🤣 I guess if I had a triphasal chart or whatever it may be different but, I feel conned and still pay it 🙃

Despite saying to myself how last time I got my positive on 5dpt, and that this blast wasn't hatching so may well not get an early 4dpt like I did with my daughter.. and ALL these very logical things, I obviously felt wildly disappointed with my BFN today.

Even worse, I've felt so yuck and horrid and had hoped it was a good sign. Come to work and turns out the whole department is down with the same thing. Great!

Sorry to hear this, I’d been wondering about whether you tested! Well, still plenty of time for your BFP!! 🤞 still a bitter pill to swallow but hopefully tomorrow the test will be different! Oh dear, hope you feel better soon if it’s a bug!

I’m doing okay 😊 feeling slightly pessimistic as no real symptoms, sore boobs have arrived today in true “before AF” form. Not sure if I’ll test tomorrow or not. I feel like I don’t really want to see a negative, but equally I think it lets me come to terms with it not being the month before AF arrives.

@FlakyAquaQuoter ahhh so sorry you’re not feeling good, but you’re defo not out!! Still early days!

Is anyone planning to test on weds or Thursday? I am thinking to then. Symptom spotting like mad, but sure it’s just the usual PMS 😂

@KT199 no real symptoms is okay!! With my first, I didn’t really feel much until 5/6 weeks! I am hopeful for you!! It’s soooo hard not to ruminate and overanalyse so I get it.

Not sure if I will test or not, as it stands I feel happier not knowing as I really think a test would be a BFN.. but if AF isn’t here Friday I will have to do one as like I say it’s my Xmas doo! Will see, it may be easier to accept if I’ve tested before AF arrives as I would like to enjoy Friday without being upset! I am low key proud of myself, this is the longest I’ve gone without early testing 🤣 9DPO was my previous record 😂😂

@FlakyAquaQuoter Sorry to hear, BFNs are rubbish to see and even more so after a transfer ❤️ But as you say - even if you are pregnant, a test is much more likely to show negative today anyway so fingers crossed for the rest of the week!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 Keeping the hope for you ❤️ And hope you feel better soon too!!

I'm doing ok thank you. Had a few waves of nausea at work today and some twinges. But I know that can mean absolutely nothing of course! 6dpo today. Must remain calm 😂

Oh wow that’s good going and patience!! How many DPO are you now? I hope whatever happens you have a clear answer before your Xmas do! You’re due Friday right?

@Junip2 I think I'll test on Friday when I'll be 10dpo.. AF due on Monday (a week today!) How many dpo are you? How are you feeling? Surely it has to be the month for one of us 😱

Yeah either Thursday or Friday (2 apps predicting different). I’m only 9DPO 😂 tomorrow I will take a judgement call on how I feel and I might test then or Wednesday! I just don’t want to go into work disappointed if I can help it!!

Thanks guys, I know that testing early is the best way for me, as if its going to be a BFN then I'd rather lose a little bit of hope every day rather than be crushed on official test day.

But maaaan. I knew the chances were small. In fact, I knew it was almost definitely not, but there I was, 6am, crouched in the bathroom with my phone light so as not to wake my very overly inquisitive child.

I'm a bloody liability.

I'll test with a FRER tomorrow and promise not to lose all hope until Thursday.

I have also ordered more FRER. I mean, let's face it, it's a drop in the ocean money wise after everything up to this point!

Well, you could’ve also done an evening test too so I think that’s an achievement!!!

Friday sounds a good day for you! Have you any symptoms?

I am 7dpo today, so think I’ll wait until Thursday, but maybe do a cheap test on Wednesday as I have so many in the house so why not😂. Symptom wise I don’t really know…I have some lower back pain but I also still have this UTI which is complicating the picture. Boobs are as hard as concrete, but that’s normal for me🙈

@KT199 sooo hard with work and having to put on a brave face after a negative test. And equally having to hide it if it’s positive is tricky too😂 I am hopeful for you though!!

@FlakyAquaQuoter you sound like me 😂😂 I am there looking at the test in a million diff lights and every imaginable angle. It’s definitely early so there’s still lots more time for you to get your bfp🙏🏼

I know!! Weirdly all the end of my TWW so far have fallen over the weekend so I haven’t had to face work on the most disappointing days, so I’m not looking forward to that happening if it is the case!

I've been a bit of a grump today, though I did try and hide it!

@Junip2 I definitely have had a few things but they could all be put down to normal PMS things I think. A few twinges, bit bloated, I'm absolutely shattered but that's because my daughter has been coughing a bit overnight poor thing and it booms through the monitor! But I can't face not having the monitor on.. even though her room is right next door 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Yeah I think 10dpo is a good day to test isn't it! OR I could wait, and just see if my temp drops on Sunday or Monday.. flash to Thursday and I'm testing hahaha ffs

Hahaah, oh well! Yeah I’m not sure how reliable some cheapies are tbh, I think all brands are hit and miss. I’ve seen some ladies get BFP’s and others stung with indents!

Its okay to be grumpy, especially when your feeling ill and have so much weighing on you. Do people at work know what your going through at the moment?

@CatLady93 - I've not long got rid of the monitor and it was horrible at first! Now it's.. oddly freeing. Though she is ALSO free and I regularly wake in the morning to find I have zero cats because she's in my bed and they're all snug with her instead. 😂 or she's opened her door after I've gone to bed to let them all in. I hope yours is feeling better from the cough. It's horrid isn't it!

Thank you, I'm not sure if the day made me grumpy, or if my grump made the day worse. It was just one of those where I felt like all I did was firefight. Normally I get quite a lot of satisfaction from these sorts of days, problem solving etc. Today I just wanted everyone to fend for themselves and stop with the questions. I'm blaming progesterone and hoping my face hid it well!

I'm exhausted and desperate to go to bed. Another hour and I can take the meds and do just that! I've heard a little pitter patter of feet and the toilet flush, so I'm willing to bet DD is going to be my bed companion for the night! Which, honestly, is exactly what I need.
