LOL Kay, DS2 went through a stage of that, he will still take sock and shoes off at first chance, but the trousers 9 times out of ten stay on.

It is the nappy coming off you have to watch out for!! (Pull ups, the bestest invention ever!)

kayzisexpecting · 28/04/2008 13:23

We got some Pull Ups but MIL kicked up a stink. So they are in his bedroom waiting until he is potty training. Anyway that is what she thinks

I cant stop watching those dancers.

NatalieJane · 28/04/2008 13:29

MIL's, I got out of seeing mine this weekend YIPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Right I am going to go and do lunch and then I have to ring my sister so won't be back for a bit.

See you all later xxx

Starshinetiger · 28/04/2008 13:38

Hi all, How r u doing? I was on keeping tabs on you all over the weekend on my mobile - ooh, get me, all technological. Is quite cool actually being able to access mumsnet and facebook via my moby, but does take longer to access and I did try posting, but it timed out and I couldn't go through typing it all again.
Kay, glad you had a good time in Whitby.
Nat, for you at ebay seller - hope it gets sorted!
Thanks for you ladies who set me up as friends on Facebook - is quite strange to see you in RL as it were!
Moos - wasn't actually sure which direction Asda was in Taunton, but did wave generally in most directions while we were driving through Taunton down to Plymouth and back in again on Sat.
DS was an absolute star all weekend - he loves animals, but we were actually in a house with two dogs on Sat evening and he was a bit scared when they came up to say hello, bless him!
Friday was CD1 for me (finally figured out why my cycle has been chopping and changing over last couple of months - I'm now in sync with my work colleagues, so hopefully it will settle down)! So give it a couple more days and DH won't know what's hit him on the GOFing front!

Squackycake · 28/04/2008 13:39

Where di your hand go GJ?

Were you checking your cervical position shortly after ?

I'm not sure if that could result in pg or not tbh. Would the sperm survive long enough outside the body for that to be a viable alternative?

Although if some did accidently hit your cervix it can't be any different than him leaking a bit before withdrawing can it?

So maybe it is possible!

I have decided I am going to inflate the air bed, run an extension cable to the bathroom and live in there. I am 7 weeks FGS I know I wasn't weeing this much this early with DS. I feel like I live in the bloody loo!!

Starshinetiger · 28/04/2008 13:55

Kay, meant to say. My Mum didn't BF me, but did exclusively BF my DB and my DS. With me, midwives told her she shouldn't bf me any more frequently than every 4 hours - no wonder BF didn't work. With my DB and DS she ignored them ! She even bf my DB despite his really bad reflux and I was only 17 months when he was born. Needless to say, I don't feel any after effects from this obvious "trauma", love my Mum very much (and am very close to my DB and DSis) and certainly never wanted to move out of living with her or disown her, or whatever else you MIL has threatened will happen with DS!

kayzisexpecting · 28/04/2008 13:56

Thanks Star. I just think MIL will make up anything to upset me.

Starshinetiger · 28/04/2008 13:58

P.S. I'm so excited about TTC this month that I can't stop thinking about it today and have obviously cursed anything actually happening this month, as have just checked to see whether there is already an Antenatal due Jan 09 thread, as that's when my due date would be if I conceive this month (I'm on CD4 ffs)!! I have to do some work now - that's what I'm here for - if you see me on here again before 9pm tonight, tell me to bog off!

Awww bless Star. I did that to with the Dec 08 one.

GJ have you thought about what you will say to him if you do get pg now? Or are you hoping he'll think the condom spilt or he 'dribbled'(I cant think of a word for it) before he withdrew?

It was very moving.

Playingthewaitinggame · 28/04/2008 14:09

Hi Ladies, lots of dubious conversations going on over this weekend, BJs, marmite motorways, self insemination and I missed it all

Well I had a pretty laid back weekend, BBQ on sat and some gardening and friends round for sunday lunch. Did a lovely Beef and Ale pie with mustard mash, old school and yummy.

Feeling pretty nervous now today, got my annual apraisal later today (well its actually been 13 months since my last one). Always makes me a bit scared!!! Worse than that I know I am going to have to push really hard for a pay rise, which I hate doing, but I am so underpaid here and I have just found out that they are advertising for a new position, slightly more junior/about the same level as mine and offering more money . So its got to be done, I am actually feeling very sick just thinking about it. Why couldn't it be in the morning?

Playingthewaitinggame · 28/04/2008 14:11

of course I meant why couldnt my review be this morning rather than the afternoon, I hate all the waiting!

Hi Playing, I hope it all goes well for you. You deserve a pay rise.

GJ, it does happen. Condoms split etc.

I had it happen to me when I was about 17 and I was so scared. I had the morning after pill and I remember saying to the doctor "Just give me the damn tablet FFS" when he was asking all these stupid questions. One of which was
"Did you use a condom?"
"Yes"
"Did it split?"
"Yes" Even though I was thinking 'Well obviously you idiot'

Moosma · 28/04/2008 14:19

at what you lot have been talking about this morning, see what happens when I turn my back!

Nat, it wasn't LL with the list it was me.... 14 things to go!

Squacky I agree with what you've said about BJs , but at 'it's full of vitamins & minerals you know' [vom]

GJ, norty you!

I'm playing nurse today, DH went to hosp to have 2 back teeth pulled out this morning. Well not teeth actually, just the stumps of roots left behind after the teeth have rotten away! He had to be sedated and is now lazing resting in bed and won't be able to work for a couple of days. DD1 is very cross that Daddy's here but can't be jumped on.

And it's raining .

Kayz, who is Sophie Lancaster?

kayzisexpecting · 28/04/2008 14:21

Sophie Bless her.

Playingthewaitinggame · 28/04/2008 14:23

Hi Geordie, thanks.

By the way I think you have more nerve than me in trying to assist an accidental pg. I just couldnt do it, not from any moral position, more from a selfish position. I really do not want to go back to work full time after mat leave, if I have to work I only want to do a little part time (16-20 hours max) and would rather be a SAHM if we could afford it, which although unlikely, is possible as we are talking of about 2 years away, so depends on DH's pay-rises. Therefore, I want DH's full and total support before trying. I will need his emotional and financial support when pg and with the LO, so I want to know I have it before we try.

kayzisexpecting · 28/04/2008 14:23

video we were there and it was so lovely.

I was going on the pill as well. I was waiting for af to come so I could start taking them.

Playingthewaitinggame · 28/04/2008 14:30

you know what Kay, the exact same thing happend to me at that age. I was 16 or 17 and Dh and I had a condom split on us (the one and only time this has ever happened to us) and I was waiting to go on the pill too! Got the morning after pill, made me really really sick, my Mum thought I had the most awful tummy bug . Must be quite common I spose, strange that I have never had one split since though.

kayzisexpecting · 28/04/2008 14:32

I have had one more. The first time we gof after having ds the condom split. Again I was waiting to go back on the pill. I didn't get pg obviously but was a bit worried I didn't want to be pg 8 weeks after having DS.
