We are going to Whitby for Goth Weekend. I so cant wait. Its always so good.

NatalieJane · 25/04/2008 09:21

Not had the best run of it recently have you?

Well fingers crossed come the end of this cycle you'll have something more exciting to look forward to

Weekend plans, DH is working tomorrow morning, then he is going to cut the grass and hedges (weather permitting obviously) I expect a trip to the MIL's will be on the cards, I think my back might be that bad that I stay at home, what do ya think?!!!

Have you got any plans?

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 09:23

Pictures There is an awful one of me with the teddy bear beefeater. Luckily I managed to keep out of other pictures.

Playingthewaitinggame · 25/04/2008 09:26

Morning ladies,

Glad to see your back Kay and had a great time.

Deige, not wanting to re-hash whats been said but I feel that it speaks volumes that you were clearly upset and didn't identify the other people involves whilst they stalked you and crashed our thread only with the purpose of bad mouthing you! I am . Anyway, lets move on.

BB, you sure you don't want to share I did plenty of phycopathic ranting yesterday

Cosmos, I think I may have been being overly dramatic yesterday but its nice to know you do have an inlinking. I think maybe I am just growing up and my mates are not . And yes, we are in a weird in-between stage so I am sure it will resolve itself when if we are pg.

Squacky - I've never been cated before! How exciting, will have to have a look.

Hi everyone else!

NatalieJane · 25/04/2008 09:28

Awww looks like you have been everywhere and seen everything Kay!

Had to have a bit of a giggle at your DH, he has the exact same expression on his face as the gorilla (on the first page) LOL

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 09:30

I know. Its so funny. I think he was bored of the train.

NatalieJane · 25/04/2008 09:33

LOL Bless him, It looks like they had both been walking around for hours and really needed to sit down and chill for a few minutes Probably wouldn't have even spotted it if the pictures hadn't have been so close together

So what was the best bit?

Playingthewaitinggame · 25/04/2008 09:33

Love the photos Kay

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 09:37

Probably going to Phantom of the Opera. It is so good and I could probably go and see it everyday if I could.

tinkerbelldust · 25/04/2008 09:38

great pictures k

NatalieJane · 25/04/2008 09:39

Awww, well I am glad you had a good time.

What was DS like when you picked him up?

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 09:43

He was more interested in the trains. Mum came and picked us up from the station and he kept pointing at the trains. But once we got out of station he paid more attention to us. He then ate my birthday card from my brother.

My mum took him to a farm and he loved it.

NatalieJane · 25/04/2008 09:45

LOL Bless him.

Did he sleep OK last night? When ever we go anywhere with the boys, you can almost garentee they won't sleep properly when we get back.

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 09:52

Yeah he slept all night. We were expecting him not to sleep but he was fine.

Anonymoos · 25/04/2008 10:12

Morning ladies, CD44 here and still no signs of anything. I have to take DD1 to the Dr this morning as she's had 4 weeing accidents in the last 5 days which is very unlike her so I think she may have a slight infection

Nice to have you back Kay, glad the ms hasn't got you!

Diege - eek about the drama last night, what strange 'ladies'!

Squacky - enjoy your OV!

Diege · 25/04/2008 10:46

Hello!! Back from the chemists with some califig for dd3. She is sat in front of a Barbie video (current obsession) eating a packet of dried apricots and has had some califig. So now I'm awaiting the results!! V.exciting in a sad sort of way .
Great pics Kay!!! So glad you had a good time - and love the ones of you and dh with the teddies I will e-mail bleedin' Kieran again as I am on a mission to get you a signed copy of his new book - was hoping to get it in time for your birthday..men eh!
Nat, I would say that a bad back is more than enough to get out of a MIL visit It's funny, I always have the threat of a dreaded visit every weekend or so, and try my best to come up with a convincing excuse .
Bloomin' eck Moos, day 44!! How do you 'feel' in yourself?? Hope drs can help with dds wee-ing problem...it's so hard when they're little.Remember with dd1 having to try and get a urine sample in a little pot stuck on to the insdie of the nappy when she was tiny - of course it went everywhere BUT the pot!
Thanks again girls for all your support,it is really really appreciated. I've had a few nice e-mails of support about it from others (god, daren't say too much!!) so feeling much better. At least my loss of appetite is helping with the weight loss plans!!

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 10:50

Thanks Diege. I'd forgotten about it until Tuesday when DH said about it.

I am feeling sick this morning. DH is in the bath so I really hope I won't be sick. DH is one of those people who 9 times out of 10 will be sick if he sees someone be sick. I have a real craving for jaffa cakes and hot chocolate, but not together.

Diege · 25/04/2008 11:17

No problem. Think he's in France at the moment, so may account for him being away from his PC. Will get there in the end, don;t worry!!
Mmm, jaffa cakes sound GOOD. I had a thing for hot chocolate and thick cut ready salted crisps...really helped when the hyperemesis was coming to an end and just had 'normal' ms!
Well dd has gone into her 'corner', lots of wind, but no 'movement' as yet!!

NatalieJane · 25/04/2008 11:32

Diege, would love a long term excuse something along the lines of "I don't like her" would do me!! Hope your DD get's a bit of relief soon. DS1 goes through spouts of it, it isn't nice for them at all.

Kay I had a 'craving' for jaffa cakes with DS2, the is a number of the side of the box for Jaffaholics

OK question time, does anyone know how you can find out if you are getting enough calcium? I am having a (very un-pregnancy related) craving of my own for milk, but I can't stand it, though have managed to sink over 5 pints now since yesterday, can you take calcium suppliments while TTC'ing?

YouCantTeuchThis · 25/04/2008 11:37

for small children with ailments. DS had a mild irritated UT once and they gave me some contraption that I was meant to tape to his bits for a sample...yeah right!! I went for sugary coke (shoot me now) and plenty of other fluids, which is what I was recommended years ago for persistent cystitis, and that worked a treat

I just tried to dip a choccy biccy in my lemon flavoured green tea...

Just noticed that the rain has started, and I have a ton of washing on the line . It is so windy here it usually dries again very quickly, but might not be a shower...

I feel so much better thanthe last few days that I am really a bit . especially when there have been quite a few +ves then periods on other threads

Anonymoos · 25/04/2008 11:37

DD1 has lots of white cells in her wee but no blood which is good, we've been given some ABs so hopefully she'll be better soon

Diege, hope your DD is feeling better soon, DD1 often has the opposite problem (QUICK, TOILET QUICK!!).

Nat I think it is sometimes recommended to take extra calcium when pg, I think you can buy them off the shelf.

So, is anyone else on FB or is it just Sorky, Tink and me?

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 11:37

I hate milk!!! Urgh. Cant drink it on its own so I take the Boots Calcium tablets.

kayzisexpecting · 25/04/2008 11:39

I am on FB too!

Anonymoos · 25/04/2008 11:40

I don't like drinking milk neat, but I did crave it when pg with DD1 with hyperemesis. I can clearly remember running up the stairs with my hand over my mouth and pink milk seeping through my fingers

Anonymoos · 25/04/2008 11:42

Kay, have you joined the mumsnet group?
