It's impossible to live as though you're pregnant all the time, especially if we end up trying for a good few months! Hope y'all had a Good Friday / Saturday and enjoyed the treats! I'm going to enjoy my face cream and a cup of coffee a day until BFP.

Still haven't got any smiley on the LH tests... the waiting is hard. I'm only 1st cycle TTC but already dreading the wait for AF! We're still DTD anyway, DH is very enthusiastic about the baby making adventure 😂😂 (can't believe I just wrote that, way TMI for posting online)

Hey! What CD are you and how long are your cycles typically?

I use the CB advanced ovulation test (flashing smiley then static smiley). I tend to start testing between CD 8/9 and usually get my flashing between CD10-12 from there my static is usually CD12-14. I have a 27-29 day cycle normally!

Just been catching up on the messages! I got my period on Wednesday so my cycle was 1 day shorter last month. I wonder if that’s how I somehow missed ovulation even though we DTD every day of that week 🤦🏽‍♀️

Cycle day 5 for me today so going to start testing tomorrow maybe, and just see where I end up 😬 good luck everyone!

That's good to know @KT199 , I'm probably still too early so. CD11 today and using clearblue 2 most fertile days. Just nervous we'll miss it, or that I won't ovulate at all. Probably just being paranoid! Beginning to think it would be better to bin the tests and take a more laid back approach.

Ahhh okay, so you’re looking for the LH surge which is what I typically get CD12-14 based on my 27-29 day cycle with a 12 day luteal phase. When you get yours will depend on your cycle length and normal luteal phase, which if you don’t know you can try work out from this cycle.

Don’t worry, I still doubt if I ovulate even with getting the positives on the tests 🤣 but I’m a massive over thinker and can get quite anxious. We’re being more laid back this month (in a sense) I’m still gonna try find my peak so I it least know when to expect AF but just DTD regularly and hope for the best 🤞

Well I am now cd22/26 and havent had a static smiley.

Had a donation on 31/10 (3rd day of flashing smiley thinking the next day would be static)

Due on on Thursday. Tested on Fri BFN but aware that was really early to test. Going to test again tomorrow and on Thursday if no AF.

Last month when I tracked my cycle just to get an idea (before we started ttc) it all went smoothly and had my static smiley!

I have a 30 day cycle (usually) and had my static smiley on CD14 this month.

I am on CD 28 and feel horribly hormonal today and have lower tummy twinges so guessing AF will arrive this week. Last month when I was 5 days late I just felt pregnant (but obvs wasn’t or it didn’t stick). But really hoping it’s twinges whilst a little egg burrowing hard!

I'm 11dpo today and god do I feel like rubbish 🙃 last night I took my bra off and I could have cried the moment my boobs came free because of the pain 😂 been out with my in laws for Sunday lunch and had to go and sit outside as I felt sick and like I was going to faint! I'm wondering whether this is more my hormones readjusting after coming off the pill or maybe I have just forgotten how bad the lead up to my af used to be! I was chatting with my partner and he was asking what was up, and I just can't explain it! I just feel odd but I can't put my finger on why!
The hopeful part of me wants to think we've been successful but I feel like with this many symptoms I would have had a BFP by now 🥲

I'm 10 dpo, af due Tuesday. Appart from heavy boobs and being emotional nothing else on my side so I don't think this month is the month ! I'll test Tuesday. I think....

I’m getting really concerned that I’m in perimenopause, my period came but it’s mucky brown. Has anyone experienced similar? I know it can happen at the start/end of a period but not the whole thing. Also the duration of my period is a lot shorter than it used to be pre pill 😣

Hi girl, im so sorry to hear you e been anxious 😔 wouldn't worry at all unless it's every single month the same for a few month. Cycle 1 or 2 of ttc I had a 3 day light brown period and was so upset. It came back to normal on its own so I assumed I maybe didn't ovulate that month and that's why it was light ?
How many cycles has this been going on for ? Xxx

Thank you for replying xx I came off the pill in August so I’ve only had 3 periods since. The first and second cycles were typically red but also very short, this one is short but mucky brown.

@Lila34830 hoping you get a positive, well done on the testing willpower I’ve always caved even when I didn’t even want to 🤣

@Clara202 I only have very short periods too, I’ve tried to discuss with my dr but they were very dismissive and said it’s completely normal to have shorter cycles even post what you had prior to starting contraception providing you’ve got a regular cycle. I would maybe reach out to them and discuss your concerns if it’s taking a toll mentally and you’re worried. They will be able to do blood tests ect for you I’d hope.

@KT199 honestly I don't even know why this cycle I don't want to test early ! New cycle new me ? 🤣

@KT199 heah I tested this morning on a cheapie and it was a bfn 🥲 so I stopped my pill in August and I've had a withdrawal bleed and 2 AF since then. I had a a 23 day cycle and then a 31 day cycle, fertility friend is predicting this one to be 27 days which was my usual cycle length before I started the pull.

I’m torn because we’re just trying to be regular, but also would like to know when to expect AF and when we can stop 🤣🤣 I feel like I get so consumed with testing and it drives me mad waiting for that positive test, but then it is useful to know..

@JessicaViolet it could still change tomorrow and if it’s a cheapie that detects 25 vs 10 of HCG then it wouldn’t show early on one of them anyway!

@KT199 I think I'm not testing because I don't feel like it will happen this month ...! I hate being pessimistic as well but I kind of am this cycle !

@Lila34830 @KT199 I've got a few tests at home that will no doubt be burning a hole in my pocket so I'll definitely carry on testing up until af comes.

Although I feel the same for this cycle already, I’m too stressed about it all and dunno how to get it off my mind and relax.. and I’m worried about something coming back on my ultrasound next weekend so more stress 🤣🤣.

@Clara202 i dont think so, sometimes our cycles are just messed up, maybe you are stressed? Honestly our bodies keep on amazing me, we learn a new thing everyday. Find a gp who will listen to your concern, and is willing to give you the time and ease you.

Nothing to report on my side, the weirdest cycle since i have started ttc , dunno if i ovulate or not and no sign of AF or any other sign, no sore boobs, it's funny i just learnt until recently that we can have a cycle without ovulating maybe that's what is happening. I feel like on a break of ttc and tww haha. But at the same time i want af to show so i can go on to the next cycle.
