Follow up form TTC BABY #1 - cycle buddies.
For all the girls trying to conceive their first baby !

I ovulated 5 days ago, and period is due in 5 days but getting all the signs now that’s it’s going to come in the next few days, I’m sad, irritable and boobs are tender. I feel like my two week wait will be more of an 8/9 day wait 🤯 I’m only in my second cycle but the pattern of the last cycle seems to be repeating itself and I’m just bored/fed up of the whole thing already! Patience is not my strong point evidently 😅

Just wanted to say, our thread is such a positive thread, every morning I check messages in the genuine hope one of us has got her BFP. Makes me so happy when I see one.

I'm 4 DPO today (or 3, unsure) so no testing for me until at least the weekend !

This is the same as me. 5DPO and waiting patiently (or not so patiently)...
I haven't had any symptoms yet but last month I was Googling every single one! It doesn't help that a lot of early pregnancy symptoms overlap with PMS 🙄

@Lila34830 I have started spotting so suspect she is very close by. I’m not sad or mad, actually relieved.. would rather she showed up ASAP once I know it’s negative didn’t wanna be wondering what was going on for days with no positive test!!

100% agree about this thread, has made me feel way less alone when everyone I know is getting pregnant first time and I’m here going into cycle 4 😂

@Clara202 @pastelpink0 Don’t worry your both too early on for any symptoms as implantation wouldn’t have happened yet. As for feeling like other cycles, that’s normal too as your body will be creating progesterone which is done either way. Fingers crossed for you girlies 🤞

Last month it was me who was way behind everyone, aren't our bodies so strange!
I was a bit tearful the last night we DTD as it was our last chance to conceive this month and I was talking to my hubby about how no matter how clockwork my cycle normally is, as soon as we've started TTC everything is up the left and nothing is how it used to be!! Which makes me constantly question if I'm pregnant but no, not yet 🥲

Fingers crossed November is a lucky month 🤞🏻

Morning girl. Arrived a few days after!
I had my P test on Monday 28 (CD 21) and my lh started rising on weds 30, peaked on Thursday 31 (CD24) and down again on Friday 1st ! I had ovulation cramps on Thursday evening as well.
Let's hope it worked 🤞🏼 we only DTD Wednesday and Thursday (peak day...)

@KT199 at least I guess you can move on ! And don't worry, next cycle is cycle 5 for me so you're not alone ! 🥹

@pastelpink0 omg tell me about it, I had super regular period and loads of EWCM before ttc. The first month of ttc completely
Missed my peak, cycle 2 was 49 days, last cycle was 30 days but we didn't manage to DTD enough and obvs this cycle I ovulated on cd23 😂 Idk about you but I feel like I'm constantly having to guess the next move because there is no pattern here .

Well my app says 7dpo, but I think ovulated on the day of peak (just from ovulation pains 😂) so I think 8dpo, last month on my chemical I didn’t get a positive until 11dpo though so I’m apprehensive… thanks girls!!! Xxx

May i ask about you , was your ovulation late this month after the chemical ? I had one last month too and not sure if i ovulated or not. Thanks 😊

I ovulated a couple days later than usual which I looked at dr google and is common! But my chemical was short lived, I had a positive in the morning then they got fainter by the evening sadly. And then started bleeding the next day on CD 24 , but full force CD27. I’ve also read that it’s really common for the month after a chemical for healthy pregnancies so really hoping for us!! Have you been testing ?? Xx

I don't have a pattern either! And every month I get PMS symptoms I didn't normally get? I swear our bodies know we're up to something and they freak out! 😂

There must be some scientific reason why our cycles suddenly decide to change when TTC! My periods were never very regular anyway but they're even more irregular now

@Gemmaemilyx thank you for your reply, mine was short too fait line lasted for 3 days. What you said gives me hope. Honestly my cycle is all over the place now, thought i ovulated( got cramping around the time i usually OV , sadly i didn't test LH) and 4 days later i started having ewcm but the LH says negative, so either i am about to OV or already OV haha. For now im still tracking LH to be sure i dont miss a late OV.

I feel the same as you guys have mentioned with the different PMS symptoms every month and trying to decide if it’s PMS or pregnancy!
it’s so annoying that the two have such similar symptoms so it’s hard to tell until period arrives.

I have started feeling some twinges today like very mild cramps. Has a tiny tiny red bit on the tissue when I wiped on Saturday so faint that it was blink and you’d miss it.
One min I tell myself it could be implantation and then the next I’m like don’t be stupid you’re about to come on your period. Who knows.

Period due Thursday, been testing since Friday cos I’m impatient 🤦🏽‍♀️ but obviously negative so far!! Will keep you all up to date and I have my fingers crossed for everyone!!

No literally just that tiny bit on Saturday but I never get spotting usually. Then a bit of cramping today.

I can only imagine the stress of not knowing, of the ttc roller coaster... i wish we were one of those lucky ones who get surprised by a pregnancy 😅

I think that’s why I’m so impatient this time - because we got pregnant and we’d only had unprotected sex 3 times!! But then we miscarried in September so obviously I took for granted the easy conception the first time!
