omg Ladies sorry left you hanging there with my medical phenomena of CM and UTI. Sorry, to qualify, no link. I don’t know how I managed to mix that up. Just that we were going to try that month for the first time, were on holiday DTD once and I got a UTI.

i was asking about CM because you’ve all mentioned it now when I was CONVINCED something was happening in the last well 2.5WW I had so much CM?! Then I think the month before I noticed super egg white which I don’t usually notice. Thank god we don’t know each other when I’m talking about this,

this month off to a terrible start, cried at my husband because he’s not a mind reader / he doesn’t have ovaries and didn’t know this / next week is fertile week and I don’t want to have to tell him. Then I cried because I really hate having to try! We don’t try!

screaming sex goddess already. I just like having nice authentic sex when we want to! I do love hubby but god this is a lot isn’t it. All those years on the pill I feel like such an idiot for thinking I could just get pregnant.

for my fellow late mid (I’m 37 next month) despite this being month 2 of TTC actually referred us as of yesterday for fertility investigations. I think they’re all fine as I had the tests last year privately (neurosis / putting it off a year) but it’ll take 3-4 months for a referral anyway and time waits for no one. So need to wait for Day 22 and Day 5.

Oh my days I cannot keep up! So my tracker app says I’m meant to ovulate Tuesday, did my post breakdown CB test today and got a static smiley! Didn’t get one last month but stopped testing a bit early. Had to wake hubby up to DTD ‘cos I’ve gotta go out.

Will try again later as well! Defo feel more relaxed in a weekend. Defo didn’t have EWCM this morning though.

Morning!! Argh well done though for catching it!!! I had the same issue this month with negatives on strip tests then the CB one gave me a static smiley 😃 when I least expected!!

I totally get you and I think the others will that DTD in the fertile window is not natural!! This weekend has been much more chilled and I've actually enjoyed DTD as I know I'm past the fertile window and there's no pressure!!

I'm yet to catch my peak, CD20, I don't think I ovulated this month but still DTD 😭 we never know if miracles happen.

Ps : @Toppstileslover last month I ovulated but didn't get CM so I don't think it's too relevant don't worry !

@slothbat CB is able to find LH surges easier, as it has a lower detection threshold for the LH rise. It’s helpful for people who have lower scale rises (which absolutely does not mean your any less fertile, a peak is a peak and still your body signalling to ovulate). I use mine alongside OPK’s and I normally get a positive OPK either later in the day than static smiley or the next day.

@Lila34830 Fingers crossed you did ovulate and just missed your peak on your strips 🤞 time will tell but keep testing. I recall you mentioning an upcoming surgery on the previous thread? It could be a little delayed due to this if your body was recovering.

I did my first progesterone test this morning which was positive, so it’s a good sign but have to repeat it over the coming days to ensure it stays elevated to officially confirm ovulation and wether it’s a weak or strong ovulation.

Yeah it's strange you say that as later that day the OPK strip test tested positive!! Handy having both!! And easier to read the CB one! Xx

@KT199 good memory ! Husband says maybe it's because of my surgery that I didn't ovulate. We shall see! I'm 1dpo but I probs won't test at all unless period is late as I have very little hope. Won't test at all if progesterone is low from tomorrows blood test !

Yeah, take from CD1. There is nothing stopping you starting to track now in all honesty as it may get you into the flow of it and show you your temps after ovulation (if it’s occurred). The time you take it needs to be the same every day, after it least 3-4 hours of solid sleep. And before sitting up/getting out of bed ect. It can be hard to track accurately so try not to worry if you feel your temps are not accurate. It’s taken me a full year of tracking and even then I use my watch every morning to take mine, set to 20mins before I have to get up for work and auto takes it.

I think our chances are lower now because my BBT has now suggested my ovulation date was later than I thought :( so we were too early but still a tiny bit hopeful.
I do feel very emotional today I’ve cried a few times over nothing and I wonder if it’s pregnancy related or if I’m just a women😭😂

How many DPO are you according to BBT vs what you expected? There’s still a chance though if you DTD any point in the 5 days before!

I have waves of hope and waves of worry in all honesty, changes hour to hour or minute to minute 😂. Can go from thinking this could be my cycle to what if there’s something wrong and we can’t actually conceive. But I am a massive worrier so, normal for me.

No symptoms at 6DPO, I tend to get a few typical symptoms over next few days of bloat, sore boobs ect but just due to the progesterone I think. Do you have any?

Same here @KT199 absolutely zero symptoms 😫 I caved and did a test today but actually had to laugh at myself because obviously it was stark white but I think I just had to get the urge out my system 😆😆 This is exactly why I only use the wee premom ones and not the costly ones.

With regards to BBT tracking, it sounds like such a headache I commend all of you who do it 😳 I have chronic sleep issues which I take melatonin for so there's zero chance I would ever get 4 hours of solid sleep to test BBT 🫤 I don't think I would remember to do it every day either! 😅 Honestly girls good on you!

I’m laughing because I actually also considered testing this afternoon hahaha, I did manage to stop myself though!! I’m really trying to hold out until Thurs when I’ll be 10DPO at the earliest! Hopefully I won’t have the urge over the next few days as I’ll be out the door for work before I can think about it and then it’s too late!

Is CD cycle day yes? If so today is bang in the middle of my cycle, I am CD14 today. I’m wondering if last month was the tail end when I got a flashing smiley and perhaps I didn’t test early enough; that was Day 15 & 16 I tested (thank god for Flo).

Either way went out for a lovely lunch with BIL and I wasn’t going to drink due to TTC (I mean it’s 2 glasses) but it very much helped! So we actually very much wanted to DTD again and I even enjoyed it, so great news we don’t need a divorce and are still happily married 😂 (joking obvs). Been a few years since twice in a day!

I’m not going to test again tomorrow because it says static smiley is good for 48 hours? But might try and DTD one more time.

If nothing happens I feel happy I’ve got the static smiley days! Also when I threw it out just now it does have 2 lines so it really is just a glorified ovulation test.

the dates have changed so much and my BBT does not match up to my CM at all :(
we DTD CD 13. 14, 15 now BBT has confirmed ovulation as CD 19 :(

so I think the cramps I was feeling were ovulation. Feel guttted we didn’t continue to DTD but I just haven’t fancied it and I thought we had given it a good shot!

Oh that’s a shame, but still hopefully in with a shot! With BBT you almost have to cover until ovulation is confirmed, which is even longer than when using OPK’s 😅 and would mean DTD for 3/4 days unneeded.

Yeah, close to being able to test but have told myself I won’t until 10 DPO if I start to feel anything. But if I feel nothing, I’m just going to wait out AF. Having seen some of the indents/evaps people are getting early on I think I would be traumatised if I got my hopes up thinking I had a positive test, and it turned out to be that 💔 so I don’t really wanna test early I can control myself!

@Frenchtoastie don't be hard on yourself girl, if you haven't fancied it this month it's totally ok, it's hard to just schedule DTD , I totally feel you !

Morning all, I’m on day 3 of peak/ high OPKs which I can’t recall has happened before so I have no idea when ovulation is! We DTD on Friday and last night so hoping that’s enough cos I don’t want to again tonight 🤣 CD 16 today and usually get my peak on CD13 so god knows what’s happening.
what cycle day is everyone and any symptoms?? Xx

I'm 1DPO but I had no / missed my LH surge so no idea what happened. I think I'm out based on that. I just had my blood test to confirm / or not ovulation happened so I'll see!

Oh wow that’s interesting that they’re able to do that with a blood test! Are you going to still test just incase it hasn’t happened yet? I’ve seen people talking on temping but I don’t think I could accurately do it 🤣🤣 xx

@Gemmaemilyx it's the progesterone test that I'm doing at hospital so basically if progesterone rises it's because ovulation happened ! That's how they see it.
