Tell us a bit more about yourself - do you have any other children, how long you have been TTC etc.

morning ladies

Welcome to babydrip!! I'm impressed that you have officially joined us ....GOOD LUCK!!! As ceebee said it will pick up during the week!

Hope you are all ok. My BBQ went really well, and it stayed dry! I was overjoyed to get a cuddle of the new baby (aww) as did DP. He was sooooo warm and cuddly. And he was being BF right next to me and I didn't freak out at all. This is MASSIVE progress for me. I only had about 1/3 glass of wine (just in case)

Temp has gone down a bit today so feeling a bit less hopeful. DP says not to get hopes up. If it drops again tomorrow then its over for this month. I was so close to testing yesterday but managed to refrain(just)!

Have a great bank holiday everyone xx

HumphreysCorner · 26/05/2008 08:39

Morning all

Welcome to babydrip and lots of luck.

ChocEclair-my temp dropped below the basal line this morning and have just been to the loo and looks like AF came early (due Friday). Well, at least it stops all the waiting. Still not over for you until AF comes-fingers crossed.

Better get some breakfast-have been up early every morning as I couldn't sleep waiting to take my temp. Must get a life! Lol!

Off to Tescos later to get some food to take with us tomorrow. Can't wait to get back and check for news. knax-soon to test?

Have a great Bank Holiday.

Awww HC I'm really sorry . Hope you're not too disappointed. Chin up hey??? Enjoy your day xx

Knax · 26/05/2008 09:50

Sorry witch got you HC! Hope you have a good trip.
Fingers crossed for you CE.
I'm determined to hold off with the testing until saturday (if the witch doesn't get me before of course.) This last few days is always me trying not to get my hopes up too much, and I keep saying things to DH like, "Do my boobs look any bigger? Do you think I'm pg?" like a madwoman.

Erm...I couldn't wait any longer. I caved in and tested.

....Leaf it is then!!!!!

ChocolateEclair · 26/05/2008 10:52

Still in shock!

Going in to town to buy another pg test (one of those digital ones!)

Willmouse - hope you are OK. Please keep us updated and take it easy today.

xx

MrsPuddleduck · 26/05/2008 11:15

Congratulations CE!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry AF showed up HC

I am taking it easy and will see how things go today. Will go to the out of hours if I am in as much pain as I was last night but for now not too bad. Can't help but feel it is starting to creep back in now that I've stood and cooked for half an hour. I am off to Tesco to spend clubcard vouchers (oh the excitement!) and I will see how I feel after that.

Hi to everyone else!

And a special Hi to the new guys on the thread!!

Sorry, I am a bit self obsessed at the moment but I am rather worried

Knax · 26/05/2008 11:21

hang on a minute CE, what does Leaf mean? Are you saying you got a BFP!!!!??!
xxx

ChocolateEclair · 26/05/2008 11:36

Willmouse - actually I think you maybe should go to the out of hours. It could be something serious couldn't it? (I don't want to make you more worried than you already are, but you should trust your instincts. If you think something is wrong then go. Pain is not good, esp with bleeding is it? ) If it was one of us, what would you say we should do?????

Knax - if you read our recent history we were joking that if I fell pg this month we might have to call the baby leaf due to erm...where it was conceived! LOL

Just did the clearblue digital and that is BFP aswell. DP and I danced round the room! .

Knax · 26/05/2008 11:49

Lots of love to Willmouse, hope you're ok.

CE that is fantastic news !!! Sorry but I hadn't read back to where he/she was conceived so I thought Leaf was another of the abbreviations I don't understand!

ceebee74 · 26/05/2008 12:41

CE - OMG What fantastic news!! I just knew that we would have at least one BFP this month and we already have 2!

Willmouse - sorry you are feeling ill but I would really go and get it checked out. As CE said, what would you advise us to do?

HC - sorry AF arrived for you but we are not all as lucky as HM2J are we?

Hi to everyone else - hope you are all enjoying the sunshine.

As for me, I think I am officially now in the second trimester and through the crapness that is the first trimester Have not felt sick for 2 days now and seem to be slightly more energetic and feel almost normal again! Have done my aerobics class 3 mornings in a row now which is quite an achievement. Having said that, DH has taken DS to MIL's for the afternoon so I am going to have a nap in a bit

x

HumphreysCorner · 26/05/2008 12:49

ChocEclair-congratulations! That is fab news. How many days early did you test? (for research purposes of course )

willmouse-can you get to A&E for a checkup?

ceebee-progressing nicely.

ChocolateEclair · 26/05/2008 13:07

cheers guys! I'm still in shock!

HC - FF was unsure when I ov'd so AF would have been due either today, tomorrow or wednesday. So technically it could have been up to 2 days early at most, but maybe not early at all! (Understand the research puropses! LOL!)

ceebee - you sound like you are enjoying your pg a bit more! Aerobics classes - very impressive! Enjoy your kip!

I am also going for a cat nap...I had been wondering why I was so exhausted last week. I put it down to "endofterm-itus" as we teachers call it but now I have another reason!

MrsPuddleduck · 26/05/2008 13:48

Good resting you guys!

I am so pleased for you CE - I am laughing at the thought of you and your DH dancing around the room!

Thanks for all the conern. I actually feel OK now and the bleeding has stopped so I will see how I go. I am definitely going to go back to the doctor if it starts again. I would go to the out of hours as well if need be (I am a regular up there!) so there's no need to worry. Its just a bit weird the way it started, stopped and then started again. Perhaps its just one of those things. I am definitely feeling better today - I was so miserable last night I had myself booked in for a hysterectomy LOL!

Hope you're all enjoying the bank holiday.

Went to the £480 party in Cheshire yesterday. It was bog awful. At one point I noticed DS2 curled up in a ball crying on the floor, I ran over and picked him up and was consoling him thinging he had fallen over when SIL walks up and says "oh sorry, that was because I told him off, he hit, well tried to hit Daisy and well, she is a guest at the party so I felt I had to tell him off". A - he didn't even hit her B - Did she REALLY have to tell him off and C - Why would you tell a child off, make them cry and then walk away I am bloody livid with her!

Went to MacDonalds and ToysRus afterwards. It was DS's firs trip and they were really pleased bless them! Then spent an outragrous amount of cash in ToysRus due to Leapsers being half price (£25 down from £50) and the games were buy one get one free. Lucky old DS1 - DS1 had a Dora Campervan (DH has now started calling him Ben Mitchell aka Eastenders and says he will be tap dancing next!LOl!)

MrsPuddleduck · 26/05/2008 13:49

I meant DS2 had a Dora Campervan (that takes his total campervan ownership up to 3 - he obviously has a thing for them!)

majormoo · 26/05/2008 16:23

congratulations CE that is fantastic. Bellie and you in the same month!

Willmouse glad you are feeling a bit better. party sounds dreadful.

Soosy hope your scan has gone well.

Welcome babydrip. Fingers crossed you have joined a lucky thread.

Ceebee-we have been away for the bank hol so did not find out about Avram til yesterday. Feel sorry for him. Yes I miss Jose too. Know nothing about football really, but I knew I liked him!! When Virgin lost SkyOne I lost Sawyer and Jose in the same year!!!

HC here's hoping next month is your one.

MJIM hope you have sorted out a suitable game for your DS.

Knax hope the 2ww isn't driving you too crazy.

We have got back from a weekend away. A christening in Warrington, although we stayed with friends in Lemington Spa on the way up and back. That is the most far north the kids have ever been. During the weekend, I had a hard time explaining to DD that our friend from Middlesborough also comes from England and not another country!! I guess that is what you get when you are surrounded by London outspill accents all your short life.

We had a good time at our friend's house but 3 times, she mentioned in front of DD that we are expecting a baby. Luckily DD was preoccupied with other stuff but it was very annoying. I want to tell her myself when we judge it to be the right time and certainly not before the scan. grrr.
