hi little, how r u? when is your AF due ?

queenie1 · 04/06/2008 15:13

Yes, congratulations Squack!!! Brilliant news, and one more success for the thread to encourage those of us still waiting.

Would be good to hear from those of you with recent successes about any pre BFP symptoms. Would give us something to refer to in the hand holding and waiting game...so did you just 'know'? and how did you feel?

Congratulations again Squack and hi to new thread recruits.

emma2617 · 04/06/2008 15:45

I told you it was going to be hard not to want to test...so instead I am symptom spotting like mad!!!

I have been to the loo 4 times today, where as usually I only go once, I speculate on every little twinge I feel in the vacinity of my womb and I'm even poking my own boobs to see if theyre sore!!

I am hanging my head in shame

chocciedooby · 04/06/2008 20:25

Congratulations Squack! So pleased for you.
Good Luck to everyones else TTC.
Early days in my cycle so not testing. Saying that, I am boob feeling as well emma2617. I'm also speculating about every twinge.

heron22 · 04/06/2008 20:39

hi queenie, hi all,

ok here are my symptoms before i tested.

  1. sorry to say, they were just like pre-AF symptoms. in fact, 2 days before AF was due, my boobs got less sore and hard, and i said to DH, i think we lucked out this month, i think AF is coming.
  1. having said that, one thing that was slightly odd, was that i was not ravenous for breakfast, like i usually am. i did think at the time, that it was odd. i still ate my breakfast, but without gusto.
  1. about a week before AF was due, i started having dreams with "worry" as main theme, like i did when pg with DS.
  1. i did get EWCM, which i noticed about 4 days before AF was due. i remember thinking, how weird is this?

so that's about it really. i did not get much twinges or cramps or anything.

i did not test until AF was late. it was not because i developed super restraint! not at all, it was because, after 2 months of ttc, i said to myself, that i cannot live "being on adrenalin" all the time. so i calmed down, BD as much as possible and, sorry to sound like such a cliche, i relaxed. i was not getting hyper or thinking about getting pregnant 24/7.

that is my story. hope it helps you all waiting for AF. i know how frustrating it is waiting...

this is such a lucky thread
i wish you all lots of babydust and your BFP

keep in touch!

heron22 · 04/06/2008 20:41

hi emma, i do the same as you, poking my boobs to see if they are sore. i am now at 6 weeks, and the last few days, the soreness of my boobs have changed. so of course, being ever watchful (paranoid!) i poke them just to make sure

you're not the only one doing this silly act!

tink08 · 05/06/2008 10:20

emma2617 · 05/06/2008 11:30

Hi Ladies!! Hope we are all well!

Tink I've got everything crossed for you!

I was going to test this morning...despite everyone saying to wait til 14 DPO, but the world must want me to wait...I was so asleep when I got up that before I knew what I was doing I found my self sat on the loo wasting all my FMU! Oh well...there's always tomorrow!

This is such a lucky thread i just have to join!

ds is nearly 1 year & this is our first month of ttc#2. ds1 took ages, 2 CP & 1 m/c @ 6wks, so am open to the fact things might take a while again. got TOTALLY obsessed last time round, opk/ewcm/temping etc etc.

am not b/f & have been on COCP until this cycle. we bd around O time (using opk so assume this was right), but only a couple of times. am now approx 6dpo, tuesday had lots of creamy/yellow/thick cm (sorry tmi!)& slight cramping. today: EWCM (again?), cramping & sore nipples...

2ww is so emotionally draining!

oops, not sure why that posted three times??!

queenie1 · 05/06/2008 11:56

Heron - thanks for posting up your early symptoms...will use it as a reference point later in the month!

Tink - as Emma says, fingers crossed. The brown blood may, and hopefully, be implantation bleeding?

Welcome dinky...your symptoms sound promising but note what Heron says...she didn't really have a clue, and was convinced AF was actually on its way!!! Again, though, fingers crossed, x

lastboxoftampons · 05/06/2008 12:57

PMSL at "wasting my FMU"!

Hi everyone. Not been on here much because I just don't feel like we've been successful thsi month so see no reason in obsessing. In fact, any "symptoms" that I might have are the same ones I had last month and I was clearly not pregnant. I've been really down about my mc in March lately and I had a moment of 'maybe I'm overemotional because..." but put it out of my head!

Hoep you're all well!

heron22 · 05/06/2008 14:50

hi last, i hope you feel better very soon
always have hope, you never know until AF comes.

good luck !

Rachrox · 05/06/2008 17:00

Hi Ladies,
I'm new to this site so just having a look around...
My Af due on friday 13th! Not sure if that's a bad or good omen?? ...lol.. Hopefully this will be my month.
Good luck to everyone else on here, hope you all get ure BFP's.

dinkyboysmum · 05/06/2008 20:03

had ewcm all day, quite a lot too, but have read this can be quite common after O. also been, not 'cramping', but feeling quite tender down there. reading everything into everything & feeling every twinge! i know i shouldnt be too obsessed, but...!!!

dinkyboysmum · 05/06/2008 20:54

hi rachrox
hope fri 13th is lucky for you! i'm due sat 14th...will be a miracle if i hold out & dont test till then though! you been ttc for long?

Rachrox · 06/06/2008 10:24

Hi Dbm,
I've only been ttc for 2 months, but already fed up of living in 2 week cycles! How about u?
I'm hoping AF doesn't show on 13th, then hopefully i'll hold out to do a test till the sunday as it's fathers day, but knowing me i'll probably start testing from weds onwards!! Then try to keep it secret till the sunday
Here's wishing us both some luck x x

queenie1 · 06/06/2008 16:33

Hi all

Now about 9 days into my current cycle and getting excited again...looking for any signs of ovulation and BDing like mad...think it's probably way too early for me to be ovulating yet, but just in case...

Signs I'm looking for are changes in vaginal discharge (tmi?). Still no EWCM. Don't temp or anything else that I know some of you do as bit intimidated by all that but are there any obvious signs to look for???

Hope all you people at a similar stage have good weekends with lots of BDing!!!

littlemissdaisy · 06/06/2008 16:53

Hiya Queenie, Glad I am not the only one that starts to get excited as oon as AF has finished, I am only CD6 and have well and truly got my TTC hat on, I have just started temping this cycle, don't really understand it tho but its early days , also my last day of taking my Clomid for this cycle and also using the clearblue fertility monitor, got all bases covered this month.

queenie1 · 06/06/2008 17:01

good luck with it all LMD!

sounds like we are at pretty similar points in our cycle so we can symptom spot and go mad together. Told myself to be zen-like goddess this month - relax and try to think only positive thoughts. Been to yoga twice this week but try as I might, and if honest, still manic

My sex life has, up until now, been rapidly disintegrating each and every month we try. But this month DH and me are in a much better zone and actually really enjoying BDing. Hopefully a good omen?

Happy BDing...and here's to showering baby dust all over us!

heron22 · 06/06/2008 18:01

hi queenie, enjoying BDing definitely helps

signs to look out for are EWCM and temp really.

hi little, you're right, you've got all bases covered

Babydust to you all

queenie1 · 06/06/2008 18:09

Thanks Heron. Will obviously keep you posted!

How's it all going with you and your little one?

dinkyboysmum · 06/06/2008 20:30

when we were ttc last time i tried everything in the end. DH was on vitamin C supplements (as a mner told me they help the little swimmers), temped, opk, i had evening primrose oil from cd1 till O, green tea from cd1 till O, even splashed out on a couple of refexology sessions. that was defo 'all bases covered'...you'd think i was totally mad, but it worked, so dont knock it!!
Rachrox - i hadnt realised it was father's day next sunday-thanks for that!! i agree, prob be joining you in testing on weds, then keep secret till father's day! that'd be fab!
