Moving over from lurking on TTC Aug 2024, as AF just arrived yesterday. Anyone else joining?

Everything crossed for you. One of my major first trimester symptoms in my first pregnancy was hot sweats every night. You never know!

Morning everyone, so NC has confirmed ovulation now based on my temperature, and it’s a day later than it had predicted, meaning we BD 3 days before and 2 days before, but now missed the “peak fertility” day. So feeling a little down, but good to know that it takes my body a bit longer after a peak to ovulate, and I’m not as many DPO as I thought I was. So according to NC I’m 2dpo now.

It means I actually ovulated 3 days after my first positive OPK. In previous months I’ve been assuming it was 1 day after, so next month I guess we’ll try and shift BD’ing 1 day later and try for 3 days in a row

I am now 9DPO. I have woken up feeling a little unwell this morning. Scratchy throat, blocked nose. Bleugh! temps are still up, just mildtly reduced compared with yesterday.

Just to add. My new temp this am has now shifted my proposed O date. This means my BD window is wildly out and I am 6DPO, not 9DPO.

My uterus is so sore. Like super sore. I am getting quite concerned by the discomfort happening persistently 😫. I don’t recall this being a thing on my previous cycles.

Exactly the same as me! It only shifted one day but it’s still annoying 😂 so let’s see what happens

I really don’t think I’m in with a chance now. Feeling rotten for it too 🤧

@LetstalkaboutBruno @MrsKurz I have sympathy with this one. I'm around 5dpo but think we missed the window. Ended up DTD CD11 and 12, on CD13 we didn't do anything penetrative 🤦‍♀️, missed CD14, CD15 we were up early for camping and CD16 (ov day) we were squished in a tent with the kids, so again no action. I keep thinking there's a miniscule chance if I caught the OPK on CD15 on the way down rather than up, but realistically I know I'm out, which is a bugger of a feeling when you're not even halfway through the TWW. I "comfort" myself with the reminder that there have been dozens of cycles when everything was timed perfectly and still nothing, so it's highly unlikely this would have been the month whenever we DTD 🥺

@curliegirlie oh man. That’s frustrating. We managed to have a good couple of days and then I was struggling with migraines/rotten head. So didn’t get the chance with being so tired too. I am beating myself up for not just getting on with it 😖🤦🏻‍♀️. Hopefully I will have another cycle after this one. This is my third cycle this year, and first year with cycles (I’m 35, ha)… so I put a lot of pressure on these situations. I go a tad doolaley 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hope you still managed to catch something, somewhere around your peak week. I am holding out hope for us!

my Premom still says 9DPO despite the same temps as FF 🫠

PreMom is shit. Useful for analysing the OPKs but it just doesn't seem to be sensitive to any data you input. Mine also reckons I'm 9dpo despite having added the OPK on CD15. It just assumes it's a repeat of last cycle. I find FF so much more responsive.

Good to know! This is my first go at using temps to chart. I use my Apple Watch as I have it anyway. I am aware that’s not as sensitive as BBT though!

I think it's looking stronger today. Tempted to go out any buy a digital but they are so expensive 😫

I agree with this. I’m only using it to input my OPKs, but I’m using natural cycles for all the bbt data and inputting when I have positive OPKs. It adjusts the data daily based on inputs which I think is great. I’m very much still in the learning my body phase so it’s all helpful, just frustrating when it changes

Ahhhh that is positive without a doubt! I reckon a digital would pick it up but if you want to be sure maybe wait 2 more days to do a digital?

Amazing how they can all be so different when the same data is added in. Should just be a universal (correct) approach! Good to know though, I won’t bother adding it in every day, saves me a few seconds daily!

Negative test for me this morning at 12DPO. AF due Sunday, so will keep on trying next month.

I am mad, I tested. Mid afternoon. On a day where I’ve been for 5 pees by 2pm (I usually pee like 2/3 times a day) and it was negative 😂

I slept 11-2 as I’m feeling crappy and woke up having a moment of wanting to scratch and itch.

I knew I’d cave soon. Especially with my TWW getting longer by three days after this morning. 😂

I'm on cycle #2 TTC and I'm kind of in a weird spot. My period is now 4 days late but I've had nothing but negative tests. Not even a hint of the faintest line. I'm totally exhausted, sore boobs, peeing all the time, my appetite is off, and I'm having a lot of on and off really light cramping. None of that is normal for me at all and I feel just like I did early on in my previous pregnancies. I've never had this happen before, I got really strong, clear BFPs right away with my other babies and my cycle has always been pretty regular. So I guess I'm in limbo lol

I've had a digital (clear blue 6 days early flashing one) that picked up when my test was lighter than this before! So I reckon it'll get it! X

@TTCIrish I think so too! I can deffo see line progression just in 2 days. The single photo is a test I've just done

@rebecca199 oh ok, I'll try one of them, I still haven't told my husband. He's a 'need to see it in writing' kinda guy to believe it lol x
