Anyone about to go into an ovulation week?

Hey!

TTC our 2nd been putting it off for a while but this month I’m going to be actively trying and testing LH etc
reading other posts feels as though everyone is already in there TWW this Aug 😂 so looking for company, anyone whose still waiting for their ovulation week.

I only used BBT when falling pregnant with my first but haven’t being doing it as regularly as I did back then.
Ive been trying to take my temp the past couple of weeks and natural cycles predicting ovulation on Weds!
what’s everyone plan of attack? 😂 I’m going to use LH strips from tomorrow onwards and as soon as I get my peak start DTD! Very sceptical it’ll happen this month with it being the first official month of trying but we shall see!
Hoping for some company if anyone is at a similar stage in their cycle?

Mine turns 26 end of June and I would love for him to have a baby by his next birthday. So difficult not to get ahead of yourself, isn’t it? If it happens this month then we can tell long distance family at Christmas, we’d have a little summer baby, next Christmas we could take them to Santa etc etc and I wouldn’t have to work all of Christmas week and Boxing Day as I’d be on maternity leave unlike this year :(

I’d say we could go baby clothes shopping at Christmas but we already have loads of gender neutral outfits we’ve bought during our time together at significant dates et.g. Anniversary trips, wedding so maybe would have to wait until we found out the sex to get more specific outfits.

We just want it so much. It’s so difficult not to let it consume you, especially in my line of work. I’m a vet so my job is super risky at times

My bbt is all over the place this month! It’s normally pretty consistent but it’s up and down like a yo-yo this month! God knows what’s going on.

No idea why it’s dipped this morning? It normally stays high for at least 3 days after ovulation? I took it twice this morning to check as well.

Any one else bbt tracking?

Morning, I'm not bbt tracking but like you my cycle seems all over the place. I've been tracking with strips and I've had some dark followed by light. Today is supposed to be my Ovulation day according to Flo and it's always accurate. So not sure what's going on.

What about you ladies who are in the DPO stage, how are you doing? Anyone planning on testing very early?

I'm not tracking temp but I was very hot last night woke up sweating which isn't like me.

Last time I ttc back in April I had a bad tummy & cramping 4dpo I now think this is when I lost the pregnancy (blighted ovum) as I didn't have any of that with my dd. (This day will be Friday when im 4dpo so im nervous) im probably not going to test until I feel any symptoms. I wish I had a crystal ball 🔮

@Mama09876 it has been cooler the last few days overnight, maybe your room is colder, I find that my temp is a bit more all over the place during cooler months, having said that it’s also cooler if I’ve been really tired and sleeping with my mouth open 😂
@Renee33 I’m only 2DPO and trying not to think too much into absolutely everything, will try and hold off testing until the day my period is due which is 29th, not sure I’ll make it that far though!

I am also super confused!

@Renee33 it must be one of those months? Do you think you could have missed peak on the tests but you ovulate today? I’d just be DTD any way just in case.

@Itonlytakesone that’s a good sign! You’ll be hot because your Progestogen is high after ovulation! Hence why bbt are meant to stay up after ovulation then dip just before period is due or stay high if pregnant 🥰

I’m going no where near the tests till my period is due. I can’t deal with the anxiety of testing 😂 I know it helps some ladies but makes me worse. I’m due the 29th as well!

@LuckyDuck93 you know it could possibly be that! I have been cold the hot and I could be sleeping with my mouth open. Let’s just see what happens. I’m very relaxed this month about it, think it’s cause I’m more pessimistic about it rather than optimistic about the one time we managed to do it! 😂

@LucyLou0527 i think it can be raised or at least showing on the sticks throughout the cycle. If you tested every day it would show up cause I think there’s always some LH hormone around but it’s elevated before ovulation as the hormone tells the brain to release the egg. 😊 Or some women ovulate twice a month.

Oh really well I'm feeling hopeful I don't know why but I think it's worked. Then again even if I fall pregnant easily...it's touch and go if the egg quality is good enough or if my body absorbs it. We shall see🫣

Morning ladies my tests are finally getting darker so likely to ovulate in a day or two which is super late for me so not sure what that will mean for getting pregnant this cycle, but we shall see.

I had such bad cramps last night eventually they did subside im 3do today trying to remain positive but thinking I'm out this month🤔

@Itonlytakesone cycle day 19. I tend to ovulate on cycle day 17/18. This is my test attached

Really not convinced I’ve ovulated yet. I am only CD17 though and have been known to ovulate as late as CD21. Feeling really down about it all to be honest.
We have DTD CD5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 so hoping if we continue we will cover the important dates. I just feel really flat. I think because my job is awful and this would provide me with an out. Thinking about doing some 21 day bloods and can’t decide whether to wait to do them next month or do them this month if I get get them in time. Obviously day 21 bloods will really be sort of day 26/27 I think to be most accurate for me

@Renee33 could just be a random cycle, i'm normally CD15-17 but a couple of months ago it was CD22, went straight back to normal after that!

I'm 3DPO today and trying my hardest not to overanalyse everything, the 2WW was much easier when I was busy 😂
I've been getting random cramps/pulling pains but only very dull, but I also know that 3DPO is waaaay too early to be looking for symptoms, think I need to start distracting myself!

I'm same 3dpo random cramps pains lower abdo reading into it so much. Sat drinking a Diet Coke thinking about the caffeine worrying about everything but it's really not in our control at this stage in the cycle so I'm trying to keep busy and relax

3 DPO here as well! Had a bizarre pain today in my groin it’s was so sharp! I dunno if I must of twisted my pain funny or what but it made me think I wonder if things are going on down there 😂

I had pains all through my tww last month convinced it was pregnancy cause it doesn’t normally happen but wasn’t pregnant 😔

honestly I really wouldn’t worry (personally) about caffeine etc this early on, I know it’s so difficult and you read so much! But i know ill be much more chilled this pregnant (2nd child) I won’t be giving up the Coke Zero or my flat whites that’s for sure 😂

im going away next week now so I’ll be away for my period. Do I take a test with me? 🙊 or just wait till I’m home. If my period doesn’t arrive I’ll be 4 days late by the time I land.

@Mama09876 id definitely be taking one with me, mainly because I know i'd end up just buying one over there anyway and struggling with translation 😂 (assuming you're going abroad)

Well I have no idea what’s going on with temp it’s going crazy this month! Cant decide if it’s up or down 😂 I’ve got to be sleeping differently! Only explanation.
Natural Cycles still not confirmed my ovulation (probably cause of my crazy temp 😂) but I think I’m about 4 dpo. Feeling no different whatsoever. Literally no pains nothing.
in my head I really don’t think it’s happened this month at all. Dunno why?! Just not optimistic.
only good thing about this TWW is I’ve hardly thought about it 😂 I’m crazy busy with work and life so thankful I’m not driving myself mad like last month! I know how difficult these two weeks can be.

Zero symptoms. I think I did have 'some' activity in my womb 2dpo the horrific pains iv got - a hunch was my body reabsorbing and early egg? - It felt this painful on my blighted ovum you see. I'm getting to know my body (I think)
I'm definitely not feeling pregnant.

@Mama09876 4 DPO too, I wish I was as busy as I was the last couple of months as this is going slowwww.
I go through phases of thinking I feel different and then phases of thinking theres absolutely no change. I definitely had a bit of cramping yesterday and the day before, but that seems to have stopped

Fingers crossed for all of you! I have finally hit my peak so fingers crossed should be ovulating in the next day or two. Which is sooo late for me, so that's weird.

People do say some of these prenatal vitamins can delay ovulation/periods 🤷‍♀️

Oh really? Iv been on pre natal vitamins since may I just keep buying more not wanting to let my levels dip.

I definitely felt ovulation type pains on CD14 which was Monday. I wish I could FF to a day I could test the weekend always drags. Would you still have a glass of wine in this period or leave it just incase😂x
