Anothing wanking stiff hello from me

Diege Show us the way, we'll go and knock 'em out Seriously, I can't imagine anyone could say nasty things about you, I know this sounds like arse licking, but it isn't, I honestly can not imagine how you could have said/done anything to deserve it, you are friendly, farking hilarious, and I for one always look forward to reading your posts. Please try not to let it get you down, they are obviously not worth it at all, what bitches (and I don't say that word lightly) would let you and someone who is pregnant with twins travel all that way and then ignore you both? It might not seem it now, but I'd say you are much better off with out them.

Moos, I wish there was something I could say or do to make you feel better, but I don't I'd say test every 2/3 days, and wait it out, not a lot more you can do. It is quite common to hear of people who don't get a BFP until they are VERY VERY pregnant.

And LL, DP's/DH's will never understand the whole cycle and testing thing, DH said to me last night (whilst I was moaning about not having OV'ed yet), "how come you weren't like this when we were TTC'ing DS1?", well I didn't know then did then?! I knew you had to have sex to get pregnant, but that was about as far as my knowledge took me! I know I keep harping on about this site, but you can have a look at www.peeonastick.com down the left hand side click OPK FAQ's, there is a lot of info on there, Teuch summed it up nicely, but if you want to see the science bit behind it all, it's all there, there is also the OPK Odysee(sp?) it shows pictures OPK's throughout the month, and why Teuchs idea of doing two tests a day rather than one is a good idea.

I think it is too late for me to be doing OPK's this cycle, but I am going to have some ready to go for next cycle. Which due to my back, the lack of sex since I sprung it, and the so far invisable/kidnapped OV, I am sure I will be looking at a next cycle!

I need to go into town today, and it is absolutely chucking it down out there YUK!!!!

Squackycake · 24/04/2008 08:04

Right has anyone got a persona manual to hand because I need some help with this bloody monitor and I can't find the book.

Diege · 24/04/2008 08:06

Hi Nat! . Thank you so much for your kind words. I've had a few e-mails from the Londoners asking me to ring etc to sort things out, but tbh I just need a bit of breathing space from it all...I was very surprised at the bitching etc, but now just feel more upset than angry. I really don't think they meant to be hurtful - me and friend didn't actually 'do' anything wrong we don't think, but others think we should have given them longer to meet us -, and things can get misinterpreted on threads etc, so I'm willing to draw a line under the whole business. Won't be posting there again for a long time though (if at at!!)Had an e-mail from twin friend though this morning who is upset about all the texts she is getting from them, so will have to ring and try and sort out...
Your back problem sounds horrendous Nat - did you get to the bottom of what caused it? I presume not to to do all your goffing? . Rainy here too, but have promised dds the dreaded playbarn as they are off school due to the strike..
Moos, what a pain in the arse - why is it that your body always tries to throw a 'never had it before' cycle at you when you even dare to think about ttc? Tis very odd, but happens a lot (on MN anyway!).
Speak later, diege x

Diege · 24/04/2008 08:08

Squackycake - I don't have a manual to hand but I did have a persona for years, so maybe I can help??

YouCantTeuchThis · 24/04/2008 08:18

NJ, you poor wee hobbler! I know how miserable it is, and I ended up with loads of other sore bits from walking funny.

Reasons to be this morning - still faint positive even with fmu, very crampy, pissing down, loads to do...

Reasons to be cheerful this morning - feel very sicky and tired

Diege · 24/04/2008 08:22

Teuch, you wouldn't even be getting a faint bfp if there wasn't pregnancy hormone in your wee, and when was your af due?? today?? DON'T WORRY!!!! you are definitely pregnant

tinkerbelldust · 24/04/2008 08:32

diege poor you with london meet up problems there is no excuse for posing horrid comments on threads about people it is just nasty!! like nj said you are lovely we are all here for you hun

Squackycake · 24/04/2008 08:43

It asked for a stick this morning, did one, inserted no problem, flashed as usual. Says "1 with book symbol" ?!?!

I let it go to sleep with the stick removed. When I opened it again it gave me a red day. I'm expecting peak either today/tomorrow.

I'm glad I bought a separate digi OPK this month because I can test for my surge this afternoon and not miss it.

Diege · 24/04/2008 08:58

Mmm, sounds very odd squacky; never had that myself. I'd use OPK today, and then just put iut down to a 'blip'. Is there a helpline number you can ring?
Hi Tinks , great news on temps going up!

NatalieJane · 24/04/2008 09:12

Diege, I'd imagine that even a hour or so late (don't know how late people were) after you have travelled all that way, with a pregnant lady carrying twins, and since we are talking about London, cold windy and rainy no doubt, would have been enough for anyone to bear. And what is with all of them having the phones switched off? Very handy that! I hope your friend (who you travelled with) is OK, I am sure the last thing she needs is people throwing their toy's out of the pram.

Teuch, echo Diege, you are pregnant - enjoy!! And yes my thighs and shoulders/neck are hurting now, no where near as bad as my back though! It is slightly less painful today until I move, but just still so stiff, and it really is a case of can't sit still for more than 2 minutes, so I have to have a shift about, but then it hurts even more when I move

I went up to get DS2 not long after my last post, he was stood up in his cot chatting away, covered in blood, all down his face, vest, sheets, pillow, everywhere, slight panic till I realised it was his nose again, so I am back on clock watching to see if we need to go to A&E, still could do with going to town though, it isn't bothering him in the slightest, but am worried that it will start to pour properly again.

What a morning?!!

Disenchanted · 24/04/2008 09:20

TEUCH!

Congratulations!!

I am sooo, sooo pleased for you.

You are such a star on these boards and always helped me when I was stressing over every little thing.

Im so happy for you!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

PS, Im almost 6 weeks now (or 5, not sure) but every test I pee on comes up + straight away, except those ones on your profile, they are still faint lines that take minutes to come up rather than seconds, so I wouldn't worry about that

Which 'proper' test have you ordered?

Diege · 24/04/2008 09:47

Oh no Nat, what a nightmare . Fingers-crossed it won't develop into an A&E visit. I can imagine your when you must have seen ds in his cot, poor both of you.
Dis, wow 6 weeks!! How are you feeling?

Disenchanted · 24/04/2008 09:54

Im feeling good thanks No actual sickness yet just some waves of ickyness and being absolutly knackered all the time!

How are you?

Diege · 24/04/2008 10:08

Oooh that's good! And half-way there until second trimester when you will bloom!!
I'm OK thanks, though still a bit about what happended with my 'other' MN group...comments here have cheered me up no end though . TTC-wise, I'm 'going live' once I get smear-test result, so getting excited!

NatalieJane · 24/04/2008 10:28

Glad things are going well Dis

DS2 is OK, a slight bleed still going on, but it isn't pouring or anything. Think I might brave town in a bit, unless it get's any worse obviously. Serves him right for sticking his bloody fingers up there!! Bless him.

I've got 'From here to Maternity' on, next show is all about Amnio's, epi's, and something else, I didn't hear due the squirming I was doing at the first two words, not sure having another baby is my thing now!!

Cosmogirl · 24/04/2008 10:46

Hi all,

Teuch - well done!!!! Our second BFP....that is fantastic news

Diege - sorry to hear that the MN meet up went so badly. That is very wrong of them, a) not to be where you arranged to meet b) to have their phones off. Not the same thing at all, but a friend of mine once stood me up for a lunch meeting, it felt horrible and needless to say we aren't friends any more.

Not much to report here. Still awaiting AF, have been PMTy all week, so expect she will arrive within the next 5 days. It was our third wedding anniversary yesterday, so we went out for a lovely dinner and having a day off work today - bliss!

Can't believe it's almost May - only 5 months until my proposed 'start date' ekkk!!

Cosmogirl · 24/04/2008 10:51

Ps. Good name change BB! Made me smile

Playingthewaitinggame · 24/04/2008 10:57

Hi Ladies,

Deige, I agree with everyone else, thats completely out or order. When you arrange to meet someone (particularly when they have travelled) you meet them at the correct time and place otherwise you ring them and let them know you are running late. To not even have phones switched on is and tbh if I had travelled a long way, even not being pg, I would be starting get pissed off after about 15 mins if no one had rung and I couldn't get hold of anyone!! I'm not sure I would have waited for a whole hour not knowing what was going on, its different if you know someone is running late, but if they weren't there and were not answering phones I would have just assumed I'd been stood up.

Teuch, symptons are sounding promosing!!

LL, sorry about AF

Moos, hope you either get AF soon or a BFP

Nat, glad you r back is slowly recovering. Hope DS is ok.

Cosmos, it is getting closer, I am starting to get quite excited over here too!!!

Dis - glad things are still going well with your pg

Sorry if I have missed anyone else out!!
If I've missed any

Playingthewaitinggame · 24/04/2008 11:02

not sure what happened at the end of my post

NatalieJane · 24/04/2008 11:06

Hiya Cosmo Hope your period puts in an appearance soon, and congratulations on your anniversary

I am going to brave the very black clouds, but no rain yet, and go into town, I can feel a bit of a spending spree coming on, y'know pain killers, heat pads, alcohol (I wish!!!) So I will be back later xxx

Diege · 24/04/2008 12:51

Nat, I would say go for it on the spend front - you can't treat yourself enough when you're in pain I say! I would recommend a Lush bathbomb if you have the shop near you Got soaked through earlier, but have to go out again soon with bloomin' e-bay parcels to PO, and then playbarn with dds.
Hi COSMO and PLAYING, and thanks for your supportive words, theyt have really helped I think you hit the nail on the head PLAYING when you say it's the non-contact that's the problem. It's one thing knowing people are late, but without knoweing people are on their way you do start to think the worst after an hour and a quarter, and it's freezing, raining etc etc...I've just got off the 'phone to my pregnant friend who I went down to London with and she's just got out of hospital having been monitored because the twins stopping moving for over 12 hours ; luckily, all is well, but the consultant thinks the recent stress could well have been to blame, esp as they have been super-active up to the evening we returned back from London.
COSMO, are you saying your af is late?? ?? Dare we mention the T word??

NatalieJane · 24/04/2008 13:05

Hello

Am back from town, I got that Pregnancy for Dummies book Kay was always going on about (why? I have been pregnant 3 times, you'd think I'd know it all by now!!!) Also got that slummy mummy book, some books and a toy each for the kids, and I got DH a new belt, and a card to write some horrible slushy stuff into (Also a nice big bag of galaxy minstral's for moi - shush, don't tell the kids or DH, have a feeling they will be all gone in two minutes by the time any of them get home!)

No Lush around these parts Wilko's own bubble bath is the closest you'd find in our town to a Lush shop!! LOL

and for your friend, I hope she get's the rest she needs now.

Right on with hiding the minstrals in my belly

Diege · 24/04/2008 13:19

LOL at Wilkos own brand I'm a big Lush fan , though left in disgrace last time I was there as dds managed to tip over some sample jars that broke, and dd3 took a tiny bite out of a soap (choccy scented) which was funny, but also a bit .
mmm, those minstrels sound good, though I am seriously cutting back on the good stuff after realising my muffin top is now creeping up to bra-strap area and threatening to engulf me...
Off to shops again, so speak later x

tinkerbelldust · 24/04/2008 13:34
