Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

Oh, morningpaper - congratulations. Well done you! Fab news to wake up to and thank you for the baby dust

Good luck miranda!

I'm on CD27, 11DPO. Messed up temps this morning so it could be anything from 36.47 (dropped thermometer half way through), 36. 79 (twice) or 36.69 (last one, 5 mins later). But have some AF like symptoms now, and I have drank way too much wine this weekend.

So waiting game!

pickledonion · 24/01/2005 09:11

oh wow morning paper congratto you here's hoping your the first of many.

CD21 ad feel sick as a dog again.

Sallie · 24/01/2005 09:32

Morningpaper - I am still lurking around on this thread - great news, hope all continues to go well. I tested positive on cd24 too which I thought was incredibly early as in my previous two pregnancies I didn't get a BFP till cd30 at least (have a 28 day cycle).
Best of luck and lots of babydust to everyone else coming up to testing time.....

Morningpaper - fantastic news!!!!!

CD30 and 9/10 dpo for me so still waiting. Have a few cramps but don't know whether they are impending AF or exam stress! Trying not to get my hopes up but you can't help it can you? In theory I am going to wait until Saturday to test but that sounds such a long way away....

Fingers crossed for Hula, Marinda and Mariella. Anyone else due to test???

RudyDudy · 24/01/2005 09:38

Sallie - how many dpo were you when you tested positive?

triceratops · 24/01/2005 09:40

Well done morningpaper, congratulations.

I have high hopes for you as well pickledonion - now that you are feeling sick are you regretting choosing that name?

fingers crossed everyone.

Hulababy · 24/01/2005 09:42

Rudy - I am going to try and hold out until Saturday too. Trouble is I know that I do have one left over Clearblue Digital test in my wardrobe, and that I want to book a week away in October this week. BUT I am trying hard to resist!

RudyDudy · 24/01/2005 09:42

btw mp - what test did you use?

Sallie · 24/01/2005 09:46

I was only 10 dpo when I tested positive. Used First Response and Boots Digital. But as you probably all remember, I also used Predictor the next day to double check and they gave me BFNs. Steer clear of predictor tests!!!

OP posts:
Hulababy · 24/01/2005 09:48

I have one of those Digital Clearblue ones that just say Pregnant or Not Pregnant, but I don't like them. I much prefer the ones where you can see the lines - looking for that really faint second line is so much more...erm, I don't know...but I prefer it!

RudyDudy · 24/01/2005 10:10

I sort of know what you mean Hula but I think I would like something that told me quite clearly "yes" or "no". When I was pg with DS I was home alone and the line was so faint I wanted to run into the street and accost passers-by to see if they could see it!! (I didn't - I just screamed down the phone at DH "it might be - but I can't tell! Come home quickly and bring more tests!!!!")

Oh, I am so nervous but I really don't feel that it is this month for me. Right, better go and find something to distract myself with until Saturday...

morningpaper · 24/01/2005 10:17

Saturday: Clearblue Digital: Negative
Sunday morning: Clearblue not digital: v. faint positive
Sunday evening: Sainsbury's cheapy: clear positive
Monday morning; Clearblue Digital: Positive

By this I would go for Sainsbury's own brand!

Thank you so much for your congratulations, I'm really hoping for more good news soon on this thread! xx

mariella · 24/01/2005 12:10

congratulations mp! very exciting!
well, I haven't tested again, but then again af hasn't turned up either. day 29 now. I must say I'm expecting af to come because if I was pg I'd have thought 1st response would have known about it, but then again apart from my huge zit, I don't feel at all premenstrual.
I'm trying to ignore it all completely. with a bit of luck I'll suddenly go "oh my goodness, it is thursday, better test again" and then have a very definite positive!
oh well, I can but dream

MINNIE1 · 24/01/2005 12:13

morningpaper, Many Congrads..
Wishing you all the best oin your pg...

AF arrived yesterday along with the flu, so feeling like crap, but i have atarted persona... Really hope this works as i am wondering will i ever get PG!!!!

Hope all is well with you all..

yingers74 · 24/01/2005 12:46

Congrats to all those who have recently tested positive.

Unfortunately for me have to re-join as have had a miscarriage. Am on the ttc after miscarriage thread too. Any advice appreciated. Will probably do my usual of popping in and out.

ernest · 24/01/2005 12:48

congratlations morningpaper. Been lurking about & wondering if anyone was going to hit the jackpot, so very glad you have enjoy these exciting times when you just find out. it's really lovely.

I'm not havng much luck. Was due last monday. af 3 days late. had all sort of symptoms (real & possibly imaginary) really thought was pg, but af came late evening, which is a first for me. But then very light & only lasted a couple of days. Of course tested again, but still got bfn. Feel like mad woman stamping my foot 'I don't believe it, I don't believe it' but well, despite 2 bfn, still not 100% convinced which is madness.

best of luck to all you others testing about now.

ernest · 24/01/2005 12:49

pickledonion · 24/01/2005 14:57

Yingers so sorry to hear your bad news

yingers74 · 24/01/2005 15:03

Tah everyone for your kind words and support. I think I will wait for my next AF and then get going again. I wish everyone on the thread the best of luck this month. x

mariella · 24/01/2005 16:10

Hi everyone. Well, af has turned up! So, next time I'm saying "hmmm, do you think I'm pregnant? although I've got a huge zit on my chin..." will you all just shout at me "NO!"?

the zit is clearly a huge giveaway

Yingers, I'm really, really sorry.

Bella23 · 24/01/2005 16:32
