TTC No.17 - Heres hoping for a very fertile New Year!

Thanks for suggesting that I start this thread - its a real honour. Won't be leaving it yet as am only on cd24, despite getting bfps from the 3 tests I have done today (paranoid or what?!).
Lots and lots of babydust to everyone. If this pg is successful, I will have conceived in the midst of an awful cold so that should give everyone some hope. Lots and lots of hugs.....

Am having slight blood loss.... could it be AF.... not seen them in 6 months !

Hiya vel!......so your af may have returned this is good news?

You asked if I am ever late.........bit of a difficult question....as my cycles are irregular, my longest has been 34 days........so it is very hard to tell, but the 34 day was when I ov cd22-23.....so?????? not sure

Tania - with miscarriages sometimes it can be really easy to be calm and collected at first, and even laugh about it! You might find that at some point in the next few weeks it suddenly 'hits' her, just keep supporting her and keep an eye on her, you're doing great! Not that I know much at all about miscarriages, just known a few people who've had them.

hmmm.... really ?????? do you not have pregnancy signs like sore boobs too or does that bleed happen BEFORE sore boobs ?
As I am in a no AF area I have NO idea if or when i should test.... when do you have an implantation bleed?
Hadn't thought of that.... don't want to get hopes up!

Should add - i have no PMS feelings at all... that's why I got VERY surprised when I had the bleed! (normally feel a bit crampy before AF).

I am so pissed off that pregnancy symptoms can be same as af symptoms........as I am now feeling a bit sickly........but I do with af aswell...no sure boobs though!

vel you can have an implantation bleed 7-10 days after ovulation and the best time to test is 14dpo

Should add how much bleed is one to have in an implantation bleed anyway ?

I guess because the implantation bleed is so early on that you will probably not have sore boobs.

Implanatation bleed differs from person to person, some decribe it like a lite period some say its like a bit of spotting.

Vel - I didn't get a bleed, but I didn't get sore boobs until about a week after I tested with Theo, I had no symptoms at all until after I tested which was a few days after my period was due, and as jed said implantation is 7-10 days after ovulation and AF is usually 14 or so days past, depending on your cycle of course! I'm really sorry if I got your hopes up!! Bodies are such confusing things!

The blood could be a sign of an impending AF, or that your body is getting back into thinking about having periods - which is also a great sign! Best of luck!

You can read about my work probs on a thread called "Suspended drom Work!" on the employments issues section. My temp was above my coverline again today so FF shows me 3dpo, but the 3 temps are lower each day ... c'est la vie.
