@SummerSun24 ahhh our bodies like to keep us on our toes don’t they!
I’ve just tested again with quite a strong pee and it’s going down. Was 178% yesterday, 101% earlier and now down to 80%. Apps have put me back to today being ovulation (they changed to tomorrow after the earlier “peak”). I’m not sure how quickly it’s meant to go from peak to minimal though.

@Laura66615 hi 👋🏻 of course! How are you getting on?

Lou0811 · 26/06/2024 20:47

Evening all!

im currently 8 days overdue AF, got cramping today, had nausea last week for 2 days. Today, I have been checking as I felt like AF came, but just creamy discharge.

DTD unprotected for the first proper time 9/10 days after ‘ovulation’ - last month, my AF lasted just 2 days, was light and dark brown blood.

any advice please?

this would be my 3rd pregnancy.

my cycles have been a joke since coming off depo last May.

cycles have been 98 days, 33, 55, 32 and about to go into 37.

thanks xx

Laura66615 · 26/06/2024 20:49

@Marie1990x thank you!
this will be the first month I’m using the ovulation tests. Had a MC in November and cycles better 26-30 days so it hasn’t happened again since then. Not sure I’m missing the fertile days though as Flo isn’t always accurate is it!

how about you? How are you getting on?

MrsB902 · 26/06/2024 21:08

Hi everyone, just joining in as we have just started TTC baby no2 this month. I told myself I’d take a more relaxed approach this time round but am already obsessing over doing ovulation tests! Just wondering if everyone would interpret this as a positive or if it looks as though maybe tomorrow might be ovulation day?

@Marie1990x I've read some people's peaks can happen in hours before falling off, a quick surge Vs a steady one, that's why they recommended testing multiple times a day untill you see how yours works ☺️

Marie1990x · 26/06/2024 21:20

@SummerSun24 I’ve been using them for over a year now and still can’t find a particular pattern 🤣. I’ve just looked back on the months and af always shows exactly 14 days after my peaks, so I think I must ovulate soon after.

@MrsB902 I’d say that isn’t quite positive yet but very nearly! Saying this I’m very confused by OPK’s at the moment 😂

GrandSophy · 26/06/2024 21:33

Hello all! 7dpo today... Can I join? It's month #4 TTC for us.

Some cramping, sore nipples and - bizarrely - my teeth have been killing over the last two days. Has anyone experienced this? Dreading the double whammy of AF's imminent arrival along with a trip to the dentist, if not 😂

I use easy at home LH strips on the Premom to determine if it is peak or not. I can see yours is a different brand and I don't know if it will work on Premom however all LH strips work the same way.
If Premom doesn't work, you have to use your eyes to judge. If the test line is darker than the control line, it is your peak.
From the picture, the test line is fainter than the control line so I assume tomorrow you will get your LH surge and the day after tomorrow will be your ovulation day. Good luck!

Still no AF this morning, despite cramps yesterday, in the night and early hours now! 9 day delay!

Marshmallow99 · 27/06/2024 07:05

Hey guys! Moving over from the June forum, AF arrived today 😔. We have a holiday this month so looking forward to that and trying not to dwell. Good luck everyone this month ✨xx

DaisyEM · 27/06/2024 07:32

AF arrived this morning for me. I don’t know why I’m a bit disappointed as this was only cycle 1 for us. I guess I was hoping that as my cycle is regular this time around it would happen quickly, as it took us 8 cycles last time. On the plus side, my LP was short when TTC #1, but I had an 11 day LP this time, so I’m happy with that ☺️

SummerSun24 · 27/06/2024 11:21

Absolutely understand @DaisyEM , I felt exactly the same and still do now just three cycles in. But great news on the LP! Best of luck this cycle to you 🙏🏻

RaineyNina · 27/06/2024 13:10

DaisyEM · 25/06/2024 21:18

@RaineyNina have you tried checking up around your cervix?

Oops just saw your reply! I have tried to in the past but I never seem to notice much difference throughout my cycle, will keep trying maybe it's just me 🤷‍♀️

Marie1990x · 27/06/2024 13:38

@Marshmallow99 sorry to see you over on the July thread 😔.

@DaisyEM stay positive, always gutting no matter how long you’ve been trying. In fact I get less bothered by bfn/af now after over a year than I did when we first started ttc!

My BBT thermometer has broken and out of OPK’s, but I think that’s actually going to help keep my calm not obsessing over them. Did my last OPK this morning and it was faint, so I’m going off what the app’s suggest and now officially in the TWW at 1DPO

Irish812 · 27/06/2024 14:28

I'm 4dpo today and will hold off testing until at least 10dpo. This is cycle 6 trying for first baby. Feeling hopeful this month ✨️

MaryMax · 27/06/2024 18:38

Hope everyone’s doing okay! Now 5DPO and already fighting the urge to test even though I know it’d be negative what is wrong with me?! 😂 is it too early to test this weekend I’m not sure I’ll be able to resist!

Snap! 6dpo, literally thinking the same about this weekend but feel like I'm getting my hopes up to be disappointed 😅

When do you think you’ll test? It’s so hard, I’m almost nervous to test too because I just don’t believe I’ll ever see two lines 🤦🏼‍♀️ have you had any symptoms?

RaineyNina · 27/06/2024 19:57

@MaryMax no symptoms at all, I keep thinking some people see faint lines 8dpo so should I try then, but then also not expecting to see anything because I don't feel any different and then don't want to be in a bad mood all weekend from being disappointed, might try to hold out till 10dpo

DaisyEM · 27/06/2024 21:25

@Marie1990x thanks so much for the pep talk ☺️ I’m feeling more positive now. Tbf we never had a great chance this cycle as DH was working away at the crucial time 😅 so the best we could do was 3 days before ovulation. Hopefully this month we will be in with a better chance x

Mattietoes · 28/06/2024 07:33

Just checking in! Around 5dpo I think. The only 'symptom' I've noticed is insanely vivid dreams - but I know it's far too early to be having any symptoms!

Amber17 · 28/06/2024 08:28

Hi ladies.

I gave in to the temptation to test yesterday at 9DPO and realised I was spotting before the result even came up. Was hoping it was just implantation spotting but AF has arrived today to ruin that.
Trying to convince myself that having short cycles (23-24 days) is a blessing not a curse but am going down the rabbit hole of googling luteal phase defects.

EagerBiscuit · 28/06/2024 08:37

Hope everyone is doing okay. 🥰

Im using 2 apps and getting different ovulation dates. So I'm either ovulating today or 2dpo. Havent found the LH tests that reliable and trying the less stress way.. But then again is not knowing stressful too 🙈 we cant win can we! I've had niggling cramps for a few days and DTD every other day so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

I think I'll start testing end of next week. And I'll try and distract myself so I won't start any sooner.

Sending positivity to you all 💖

Marie1990x · 28/06/2024 08:41

@DaisyEM 3 days before could well still put you in with a chance! Typical that he was working away, how frustrating 😅. It’s still so disheartening to see AF even when you know you’ve not had much opportunity. We’ve been pretty slack at it this month so not expecting anything, but I know I’ll still be gutted when the time comes 😂

I don’t really feel any different either 😂 if you manage to hold out well done!!
