I know this question might sound silly however I am very curious! When you are close to ovulation, do you usually get a BBT dip or LH surge first?

Funny you should say about a short LP @Amber17 seems alot of us seem to have the same issue! To make you feel better I've been down most of the rabbit holes and it's seems that over the span of 12 months it has little effect on your chances of conceiving as implantation takes 6-12 days. I think the rational at some point some of those eggs will implant as early as 6dpo so even extremely short LP of 6/7 days an egg could implant in theory. Many people wrote about bringing it up with fertility specialist and it seems like it's never a huge concern. I stopped my research there as there's no point worrying about the unknown (in theory 😂).

Yup @SummerSun24 thats the same conclusion I found. And no evidence that attempts to prolong it have any effect on successful conception. Which is fairly reassuring.

@SummerSun24 this is so true and actually has reminded me not to stress about my 11 day LP (which isn't even technically short!).

With my son, I had early implantation on 6DPO (I know because I felt it), and a faint positive test at 9DPO, confirmed with a digital at 10DPO. This was with a 9 day LP, so just goes to show it's completely possible 🙂

On 6dpo, what feelings did you get when the implantation was taking place?

@LucyCL i felt a stabbing pain that happened on and off, maybe 3-4 times within a 20 second period. It was noticeable enough to register what I felt, but obviously I wasn’t too sure what it was until a few days later when I got my BFP.

Finally got my peak yesterday CD 22 so O day today! Finally in the TWW and foolish optimistic as always 😂

That is really encouraging to hear that you ovulated on CD22! In my case, today is CD20 and I am still waiting for the peak.
I hope you will get a BFP soon!

How is everyone doing? Anyone else mid way through the TWW?

I am 6po and feeling very calm. Long may it continue! Going to try to held off to 12dpo until testing.

I'm about the same I think! Around 6dpo. Also feeling fairly calm and going to try to hold off from testing for as long as possible. No real symptoms to speak of at the moment - but I know it's early!

3dpo and also feeling uncharacteristically calm, weirdly. I doubt it will continue but it’s nice for the time being 😂. I think it’s because I wouldn’t even have usually ovulated by now it feels super quick!

You’re so strong waiting until 12dpo! I wish I had that strength

Haha, I said “going to try” no promises that I will make it.

every month I seem to go through a case of mad symptom spotting from 7dpo-10dpo and then on 12dpo it’s very clear that I’m not pregnant because my temp does a big dip. So I’m just going to try and skip the madness this month… but we shall see!

9DPO here, BFN today. Can't help but testing early 🙃

New in this post. We are not using protection since December but we don’t have often intercourse maybe twice per month without monitoring fertile days. Now we decided to seriously TTC. I am in my early 30s and he is in his late 30s. Just bought the ovulation tests. This forum has been helpful to understand a bit how I can prepare ;) thanks and good luck

Morning everyone, how are we all feeling?
I'm now 11 dpo, was feeling very positive and certain this was our month. However, BBT has fallen drastically this morning, AF due in 3 days. It's hitting me hard 🙂‍↕️ Sending hope and strength to everyone xx

Not 100% how many days DPO. 2 apps giving different predictions and I've not done LH test regularly. I'm Cycle day 24. Cycles vary 34-37 days normally.

Feel meh. boobs a little tender. I know it's highly unlikely it's pregnancy symptoms. Anyone else having anything similar?

I am 7dpo today and feeling quite downhearted as I don't have any symptoms at all. Just don't feel like this is going to be the month :(

Oh I meant to ask a while ago if anyone else has a low BMI while TTC and if they found it had an effect? Reading up says can effect ovulation and lutal phase! I've managed to put a few KG on but still technically under weight at BMI of 18 but better than the 16 I started off at!!! Was healthy BMI (if not a bit slim) when conceiving number one.

Af arrived today so we're back to CD1 :(

@CoolSummer89 @Mattietoes I'm also 7 dpo today. I always get sore boobs from O day until AF arrives, and have this month too. My luteal phase is only 12 days so due on next Sat. I plan to test 10dpo. How are yous?

9dpo today, no symptoms, I caved and tested yesterday BFN at 8dpo as expected really but always get my hopes up, thinking of waiting till Wednesday which will be 12dpo if AF hasn't arrived by then, or should I test sooner? The wait is so hard

10DPO today, still negative.

Feel very crampy this evening, have a feeling AF is on her way 😥
