I tested this morning (10DPO) and BFN 😔 feeling a bit deflated

@DaisyEM 😔 me too, a BFN with frer on 12DPO and pre-AF symptoms in full swing I am certain I am out. I am starting to focus on August now :)

@lavafield awh I’m sorry hear that, I expected AF is right around the corner for me too! I honestly don’t know why I thought it would happen quickly for us this time when it took 8 months last time 🙄

@DaisyEM I know! I hope it will happen to you within at least the same timeframe, preferably earlier, this second time round!
We are trying for our first one and I would be what doctors describe "advanced maternal age" 😅😂 so it is clear it will take a bit of time. We are in cycle 3 only and first proper one with OPKs and timed DTD etc.

@lavafield i think this is it, when you know you’ve timed it perfectly it feels like ‘well why wouldn’t I be pregnant’, but according to Google there’s still only a 30% chance even if you DTD at the most optimum time. Haha I think I’d also probably be considered an ‘advanced maternal age’ - I’m 35, going on 36. So based on that maybe I should be being more realistic about how long it will take. For me my cycles were all over the place when we were TTC first time, so I thought as they are regular now it would make it much easier and would happen much quicker. It is only cycle 2, but I was convinced it would happen in the first 2-3 months 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ok so I’ve just gone back and looked at my test from this morning (bad idea I know), and I think I can see a suuuuper faint shadow of a line. This is what happened when I found out I was pregnant with my son. I got a very faint line at 9DPO and confirmed with a digital at 10 DPO. When I had the very faint line with my son, I didn’t think much of it as it was barely even there and I could easily lose it, and I was honestly shocked when I got a positive on a FRER the next day and confirmed with a digital. Anyway, here’s my test from today, and I’ll post a photo of the positive test with my son…

This was the test with my son at 9DPO. To me they both have the same hardly visible line. Anyway, like I said above, I didn’t think much of the shadow line last time, and I feel the same now. Will test again tomorrow!

@DaisyEM I can see a super faint line from today!! 💫 did you try with frer too?

@lavafield i keep feeling so sure it’s there, and then I come back to it and I can’t find it 😂 no I haven’t got any 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was hoping to not spend a fortune on tests this time and just use cheap ones! I have an out of date digital (😅), but that test was with FMU which I threw away. Now I have the tricky situation of whether to go to my yoga class or not tonight, as you’re meant to do ‘pregnancy safe’ yoga, but it’s possibly too early for that anyway/I wouldn’t be happy to actual think I might be pregnant until past period due date/stronger lines.

just catching up.

ive been quiet as im feeling a bit knocked back! I’m over a month late for my AF (last period was 22nd May and finished the next day) - FRER taken on Saturday and negative.

FSH bloods taken yesterday so waiting on results x

@Lou0811 I hope you get it figured out what's wrong and press for all the tests needed!

@DaisyEM I know that feeling about yoga! I always debate if I should go to the gym and classes during TWW, and what if abs exercises mess up with implantation etc etc! Making myself sick worried on what I can and cannot do to not ruin our chances. That said, think yoga is considered safe, definitely that early, and can have a positive effect even! 🧘‍♀️

So I am 10 dpo today too, why do I feel like something is there? Maybe not!

@Lou0811 so sorry you’re in limbo, hopefully your test results come back quickly and give you some answers!

@lavafield urgh I’m totally with you there, it’s a minefield! I’ll try and do a bit of googling about yoga today but will most likely probably still go. Wish I could get a proper answer today as to whether it’s really a positive or or 😂 I’m tempted to do my one and only digital, but I know that’s pointless as won’t be FMU/my line is too faint for a digital to be positive.

@Lisa3192 having stared at my test all morning and going back and forth as to whether there’s a line on mine, I’ve now been staring at yours too 😅 I still don’t think I can see anything, so sorry, but I’ll have another look later as my eyes may not be working very well at this point 😂

@Lisa3192 awh I'm so sorry, it's so hard staring at tests and convincing yourself there's something, only to later decide there isn't. Honestly I'm in limbo with my test too, and while I think there is something there, it could easily be an evap! 10 DPO is still early x

@DaisyEM i see a really faint line too!

So Monday 12dpo (I think) I got a BFN. But later that day I had more cramping right side, that lasted a few minutes. Then yesterday I had some very light pink spotting when I wiped, I thought ahh here she is! Put a pad on then nothing. This morning I woke up with more cramping and when I wiped it was browny colour (sorry TMI) again I just thought AF was coming but had nothing since!

I haven’t tested again because I am trying not to get my hopes up and will see if AF arrives today/tomorrow. If not I’ll do a test 🥹, very much in limbo too!! X

@Marshmallow99 ahh it's all so confusing isn't it! And like you say, you don't want to get too excited. I'm battling with myself on whether to do a digital or not this afternoon, I know it'll be pointless when it's not FMU and only 10DPO, but that's not stopping me considering it 😂

I’ve done another test this afternoon and I think the line is a tiny bit clearer 🤞🏼

@DaisyEM I do see quite a prominent shadow of a line there! Fingers crossed it gets brighter tomorrow! 💜

I’ve finally got my peak OPK reading today! When is the best time to DTD? We did last night so do we skip tonight and go with tomorrow night?

This is my 10dpo pm test!

I always used to take the photo and if it was quite faint I would play around with the lighting to see if it made it any clearer, I swear it worked or maybe it was just pure desperation lol!
