Flo app isnt always acurate

@1441x I agree with worldwidetravel2017. Flo app is not always accurate. Even checking CM is sometimes misleading.
LH strips and BBT are very precise to track ovulation.

10 dpo, negative tests, bloating and spotting and cramping.. anyone experienced negative tests on 10dpo and still gone to get a positive as I know it’s still early so could just be the start of af

@LucyCL @worldwidetravel2017
Thank you for your tips on flo! At the moment I don't want to track temperature or take ovulation tests but wouldn't rule it out for future cycles further down the line. I became quite fixated on ttc with my first and as soon as a "stopped" trying I conceived (probably a complete fluke but the less I put pressure on the better!)

I see. Very sensible! Life is too short and TTC is only one part of our life. I wish you good luck on focusing on other things and finding yourself again!❤

I might be able to help with this.
progesterone in early pregnancy is not a gp indicated issue.
normally someone has either seen recurrent miscarriage clinic or pre preg clinic at gyn and it’s been discussed already.
If someone approached us about it, I’d happily take all their information and do a ping to gyn with the info for their advice. Some clearly meet guidance and some don’t - if gyn were in agreement they would see you in EPAS/clinic and take it forward from there.
varies by area though.
it’s more common in Europe and so many European women are disappointed when it’s not recommended.

Definitely see a line there not even a squinter and I have bad eyes 😅
Fingers crossed it darker with fmu to give you a more clear answer. Also maybe had a digital to have it in black and white

Thank you!
Excited because it was clearly positive in black and white!!
was a funny phone call with the consultant but fingers crossed for an ongoing positive outcome!

Hey, joining late from June TTC.

This is TTC cycle #3, for my first. April was a BFP but ended in CP mid May, then a normal 28 day until mid June and now on 12 dpo. Refraining from testing until Sunday as AF is to come tomorrow.

Last cycle I got a little too into HCG testing that I think it stressed me out and I started feeling quite depressed, so this time I am avoiding it until absolutely necessary😅

Currently on holiday until 19/07, not drinking just in case, still very much enjoying it, sunshine is a great distraction.

Congratulations to all the BFP in here so far, good luck to the rest of us :)

For my last two BFP, I got BFN in the morning then the faint line in the afternoon. I didn't have any symptoms for the 2nd one. Did you test this morning? x

@worldwidetravel2017 Don't mind at all, I am 33 (34 this September), DH is 35.

Been off the pill for 4 years now and using natural cycles to track (temp and LH tests) but not been interested is TTC until this year.

DH is quite relaxed about it (as in it'll happen when it happens) but I'd really like to be pregnant before I turn 34.Why? Not sure myself, I think so that we could possibly try for a second soonish after. I have a tendency to control.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I was quite devastated after mine and couldn't see a way forward but being on here and speaking to other women who experienced the same helped change my perspective.

Hope you are okay.

CorneliaB · 13/07/2024 07:29

Morning all! Checking in on those whose AF is due today, hoping everyone gets their BFP today!
Xx

CSSL7 · 13/07/2024 10:28

AF arrived for me. Such a mind f*ck when I had so many symptoms:

gas, nose bleed, bloating. I am going to keep super busy next month and not test early and do my best to ignore symptom spotting. 😭

EagerBiscuit · 13/07/2024 14:14

AF arrived yesterday.

and feeling okay about it. Busy month ahead.. weddings, holidays etc so just going to enjoy them and try and relax.

Wishing you all well.

CrimsonWitch88 · 13/07/2024 14:46

Sorry to all that AF arrived for this month, fingers crossed for this next cycle

It's so hard to just go with it and see what happens when you want it so badly

But apparently it can happen when you least expect it

HRHXO · 13/07/2024 14:58

Hi ladies, I dropped off for a couple of weeks as AF arrived right on time at the start or July and I then had nothing really to contribute to the chat because I was grumpy lol. I'm going to try to catch up with all of your posts though!

I'm mow 5dpo I think (tracked only with OPKs) and we managed to DTD on all the good days so feeling tentatively hopefully at the minute although my peak did seem for short this month.

Anyone else around 5dpo at the minute? X

CorneliaB · 13/07/2024 16:22

@CSSL7 @EagerBiscuit I'm so sorry to hear AF arrived. I really hope you get a better month this time! Xxx

3dpo here so not far behind you

DaisyEM · 13/07/2024 22:42

I got a bit lost in this thread and haven’t posted for a while 😅 I’m CD17 today and got my positive OPK. Last cycle DH was away over O so best we could do was 3 days before. I’m assuming O will be tomorrow, so we’ve DTD today and Thursday. Hopefully that’ll put us in a good chance of conception as don’t think I’ll be able to convince him to go again tomorow 😂 still, at least this month has been better than last month!

Blue2020 · 13/07/2024 23:14

@DaisyEM good luck with this cycle.

LeleMR · 14/07/2024 05:46

So, period should be here today. Took this test right after waking up. I think there is a second line. However, these cheapie HCG tests could also be dodgy and I don't want to get too excited. Having had a loss after my first BFP kinda makes me worry about it happening again.

Since it is 30°+ degrees here I am constantly drinking water, so don't think I'll get a more concentrated sample until I am home Friday next week and only have 2 tests left for my days here.

What do you guys think?

TTC July 2024 ✨♥️
1441x · 14/07/2024 09:03

@LeleMR I think this is pretty clear!! But as you said could be a dodgy strip so I bet you don't want to cling onto it. Maybe use your remaining tests tomorrow and then again 2 days later and see if they show the same!! Eeeek

DaisyEM · 14/07/2024 09:15

The @Blue2020 thanks so much, how are you getting on?

@1441x i totally appreciate why you’d not want to get carried away/too excited, but I would say that’s a clear positive. With my son I tested with a cheapie first and had a much fainter line than this, then confirmed the next day with a FRER and a digital. I’d say that very much looks positive. Maybe test every day for the next few days and once the line is a bit darker you might feel able to believe it’s actually a positive? Keeping everything crossed for you xx

DaisyEM · 14/07/2024 09:17

@1441x sorry just reread your post about only having two tests left until you’re back home. Maybe test again tomorrow with FMU and then again on Wednesday? As FMU should be quite concentrated even if you’re drinking a lot in the day. And then digital when home?

Thanks @DaisyEM @1441x

I'll try and relax for now😅 Gonna go to a pharmacy this morning in Spain to pick up a couple of proper tests, if they have clear blue ones. Also ordered some to my house for when I am back.

Fingers crossed this is a keeper

@LeleMR also just realised I was miss tagging you! Getting some more tests where you are sounds like a good plan. Let us know how you get on with doing more tests, but that’s definitely a pretty clear BFP xx
