quick question - do you check if your period is late from the first day it started or the last?

It's good to hear your positive outlook, I guess at this point we can't control anything anyway.
I've just asked my doctor for a prescription for Progesterone so hoping that will help me. I'm still nervous it might be a chemical again but guess there's no point worrying :)

I had a CP at the beginning of May and I have done lots of blood tests (all private) since my 1st MC (this March) so on 7 dpo of this cycle I found out that I had low-ish level of progesterone and estrogen based on the female hormone blood test result.
When did you have your CP and how did you get the GP to prescribe progesterone If you don't mind me asking?
I don't know what to do. At the moment, I take vitamin B6, C, E, Zinc and Magnesium with prenatal vitamins to boost progesterone and estrogen levels.

I’m also due Saturday!!

lots of my friends have told me they didn’t test postive until the day of their period. So I keep telling myself we’re not out til we’re out. Just so impatient and time is going so so so slow.

Really hope this is the case for you too!
I'm not going to test until Saturday now either!

My Chemical was September / October last year and then my M/C was end of May.
I also had a M/C before conceiving my son so I explained that to the doctor.
I had a phone appt and explained my background and that I have a new pregnancy.
They are going to call the EPU to book me in and come back to me so not prescribed yet but I hope they will.
There was a good page for information on Tommy's
I think I must be low too as I don't test positive until late normally. I was researching diets for progesterone, looks like I'll be eating lots of beets!

Thank you for sharing your experience! So you had 3 MCs in total? Do you have any proof which shows you have low progesterone? If so, did you show it to the doctor? Is explaining the background good enough for the doctor to prescribe progesterone?
If it is possible, could you forward me the link of the page you found on Tommy's please? Thank you!

Same for us. Today the cramps feel more like period cramps and my moods are so irritable and angry today. I think AF is gonna arrive tonight :/.

Cycles vary too so not sure when it'll arrive. Just wish it would so can get head in right place for next cycle.

I know you're not out until AF arrives so you never know. 🤞🏼

Jee95 · 11/07/2024 16:43

Negative test! I officially give up! Will move on and focus on other things.

Lou0811 · 11/07/2024 16:59

I can totally relate :( x

To be honest, I feel you although I always feel nothing during the whole menstrual cycle. Today is still 9 dpo and my BBT is still elevated… I am a bit fed up of waiting. I am happy with AF or BFP, at this stage I really want to move forward.

@LucyCL no, I’ll be stopping all together now. It’s completely destroyed my resilience and self-esteem!

good luck to anyone trying

I see. Very sensible! Life is too short and TTC is only one part of our life. I wish you good luck on focusing on other things and finding yourself again!❤

Be gentle with yourself. Reset, focus on new exciting things. Treat yourself. Be kind to that head and heart of yours.

I don't have any proof but just asked.
I used this information; https://www.tommys.org/baby-loss-support/miscarriage-information-and-support/pregnancy-after-miscarriage/taking-progesterone-early-pregnancy
I'll update if the doctor prescribes it to me! He certainly listened and understood why I wanted it

Taking progesterone in early pregnancy

Progesterone is a hormone that plays an important role in the menstrual cycle and in maintaining the early stages of pregnancy.

@EagerBiscuit thank you for your kinds words. I feel so lonely and feel like I’m being punished.

I know you do.
It's supposed to be this exciting easy journey yet the reality is It's not.
We're comparing everything. We see babies/bumps/announcements everywhere and try our very hardest not to be bitter.
But you're not alone. This is the worst girl gang in the world.. that's right, we're a Gang! Girl Power!! 💖👊🏼

Theres so many people in the same situation. I know it doesn't make it any easier but know you're supported, understood, listened to by so many. This thread is just the tip of the iceberg.. you're not alone 💖

Jee95 · 11/07/2024 18:26

@EagerBiscuit i just feel like my body isn’t doing what it’s meant to do. I’ve have no miscarriages, nothing at all to indicate my body can carry a baby for 16 months.
thank you, this is really kind of you! I’m not bitter, I appreciate pregnancy announcements more so than I did before this journey ♥️

EagerBiscuit · 11/07/2024 18:30

@Jee95 I understand why you're feeling so deflated.. 16 month journey sounds exhausting. 😔💖

Jee95 · 11/07/2024 18:40

@EagerBiscuit it really is!

1441x · 11/07/2024 18:53

Jumping on this thread we are ttc baby no.2!

I'm tracking my ovulation/fertile days as a method of ttc, I'm not currently doing all the little extras like taking ovulation strips, temperature checks etc as I drove myself crazy with it ttc with my first baby! Just waiting to see if I skip a period or I'll start spiralling and taking tests every other day lol!

Good luck to everyone on this threadFlowers

Blue2020 · 11/07/2024 19:26

@1441x welcome.

How are you tracking your fertile days/ovulation? Using CM or an estimation based on your typical cycle?

1441x · 11/07/2024 19:30

@Blue2020 thank you!

I suppose both, I'm using the Flo app which factors in your cycles, CM, and other noticeable sort of symptoms. I've been using the app since ttc with my first and always tried to keep it up to date so I'm hoping it's going to be accurate

Blue2020 · 11/07/2024 19:46

@1441x ah goodluck, hopefully your cycles will be similar.
