Is this positive for peak ovu?

Hi, I have an app to read the ovulation strips but it's saying it low. I'm expected to ovulate today or tomorrow. It looks really dark to me.
I'll attach a photo

It doesn't look low but zooming in, the darkness doesn't run the full thickness of the line. Really it can only be looked at in comparison to your others, not as a stand alone test. Suggest testing this evening too!

I think both of these are as dark as the control and would read both of those as positive. I believe it's the first LH surge that you're looking for, rather than the peak value (which will depend on lighting conditions, how dilute your urine is, etc., anyway).

This paper says that in most women they looked at, ovulation had already occurred by the time LH peaked. Have sex as soon as you see that first positive!

You have to wait until it turns white, I think these take 15min to develop all the way. I think you’ll ovulate tomorrow.

Just a lil update for whoever stumbles across this thread. I'm 5dpo and using opk to see if this month I am in fact pregnant, that perhaps the opks can pick up the HCG hormone increase. Seen a lot of mixed experiences with using opks for that so thought I'd try it out. Here they are at 5dpo, getting darker each day so far.

@Bambin0 I also experimented using ovulation tests while pregnant but mine stayed very much negative. I had these exact tests. I got darker tests before af arrived.

Ah yes I read all about the spike before AF too. I'm due on in 14 days or so. So I'll definitely be looking out for that. I'm feeling hopeful this month. Tender boobs, cramping. Are you TTC too? X

@Bambin0 Yes I’m 3dpo today. Also like you I have lots of hope for this month, we used conceive plus and lots of dtd.

@Bambin0 No conceive plus is a fertility lubricant that imitates EWCM and apparently has something in it that feeds sperm and helps keep them alive.
I’m feeling all sorts of things but I know it’s way too early for symptoms.
You’ll be 6dpo tomorrow and in the implantation window, I have a love hate relationship with that window as it gives me so much hope on minute but then the next I feel like I’m out.

Oh I've never even heard of that. I may look into it, but I've only been trying for 2 cycles now. How long have you been trying?
Ah I'm now 7dpo and it is definitely killing me to wait any longer. I got a very strong positive at 8dpo with my son (he's not 6) my body and periods have definitely changed since then.

Symptoms so far are very sore and larger boobs (i have small boobs so very unusual) funny with some foods, cramps and a lot of #2 tmi soz.

What are your symptoms?

@Bambin0 we’ve been trying since October 2022 and I had a MMC at 10weeks this February. This is cycle 4 since then.
the main difference from other cycles is that I had af type cramps yesterday but not sure what it mean as it’s too early for implantation.

Hmm I don't think that's too early, Ive had cramps from 3dpo and more today so yeah let's hope that's your first sign . My tests come today so I might take a sneaky one in the pm as they always seem to be darker then. When are you gonna test?

Was it within the time window? As these tests are absolutely notorious for very blue evaps? :) if it was within the time it does look positive
