(I seem to be in good company - hello babychicken - cycle buddy and trying for the same amount of time!)
As you'll have guessed I got AF just before I planned to test (so I won the battle of wills, but rather a hollow victory.....)
But I've been to the doctors to talk about whether my pre-menstrual symptoms are unusual (I get the most painful boobs for a whole two weeks before AF) and he's referred me for blood tests and a pelvic scan. Still waiting for an appointment for the scan, but pleased that he's taking it seriously. He's looking for an update on the PCOS although because my periods are regular, it looks as if I'm ovulating normally. He's talked about Metformin, a drug usually used to treat diabetes, but which has shown good results in women with PCOS who often show restistance to insulin which can cause hormonal problems. So, watch this space.....
Anyway, my lack of posting in the last few weeks is because I've not been focussing so obsessively on getting pregnant. I've gone past that stage of expecting a BFP every month, so am just letting things take their course. I missed out on the job I had an interview for, and am having lots of stress at work (might have to take a grievance out against my boss - ), so other things have been filling my mind.
Sorry for the long post but great to hear about mibbes' BFP! And glad that fruitloop has completed another cycle - here's hoping that the next one is a lot shorter! And fingers crossed ei that your situation resolves soon (whispers - hopefully in a BFP!)
