i'm really new to this thread (second post!) but i've been ttc for 6 months now. i was using opks to see when i was oving. but i was still never really sure that we were bding at the right time iykwim so 2 months ago i started temping. i'm finding it really good cause this month is the first month i could really tell for sure that we defo bded at the right time.

also temping can give an advance warning of AFs arrival saving disapointing bfns

beaniesteve i'm just taking folic acid, should i be taking the other vits too? sorry

Babychicken Sorry I missed saying hi when I was catching up Your right this is my 2nd cycle of temping and you learn so much more about your body. My SIL who is a nutritionalist told me to take the pg vitamins as they are fab for preconception when you are pg and after, I take the pregnacare ones. Wierdly they have helped my IBS too, very strange

McDreamy Hi to you too, sorry it's taking a while, unfortunately I'm not a good candidate for tips, we've been ttc for nearly 2 yrs, got pg Dec had mm/c in Jan and this was our first, so desperately needing help too!
It's so frustrating though isn't it? Did you take a while to conceive with your other lo's?

Ladies just in case it helps I'll list the supplements that I take (and took during 4 cycles ttc) and got BFP 2 weeks ago .

In order to help generate EWCM:
I drank grapefruit juice
I drank green tea
Evening Primrose Oil capsules (only until ov)
Flaxseed Oil capsules

To help with ovulation, LP etc..:
Vit C
Vit E
Zinc (apparently most people are deficient in this)
Vit B6 (to help extend LP)
Vit B Complex
Pregnacare with the additional Omega3 supplement

• you need a good pregnancy vitamin. Tesco do a reasonable one. It will have folic acid in it too. Don't take a normal multivitamin because of the vitamin A.

I have been told B6 and Vitamin E are good for you if trying to concieve, better to get a vitamin B complex I think (I sound like I know what I am talking about but I don't really, just read about it).

Well, i am coming to the end of a long (for me) cycle. AF due from today onwards so on a massive knickerwatch. Not really hopeful at all as this cycle has been really strange, and i had a BFN on Friday.

Hello everyone!

You probably won't remember me? I was here last November after coming off the pill in october desperatly ttc. I had no luck then and dp and i decided to wait until May to start trying again for various reasons and to let my body settle down after the pill.

Well i cannot believe May is just around the corner! I have one more AF to go before we start trying again and my next AF is going to be hopefully in a couple of weeks then it's baby making time again!

I will add myself to the list in a few weeks after my AF. It's so scary and exciting at the same time!

so no AF here for me, and still BFN as of earlier today im 17DPO and my temps are very high for me and fertility friend has detected a possible triphasic rise so im confused as to what my body is doing at the mo!! AF is approx 3 days late either that or my usual luteal phase is more than 17 days which is rather unusual so i have read!! i have no clue as to what to think apart from i keep actually expecting a BFP rather than being resigned to BFn as usual (but then im never usually this late ) anyone with any wise words to help me?? [desperate ei emoticon]
