louwantsaBFPtoo · 28/05/2008 20:43

try in the morning if you can - you could still catch it! xxxx

still nothing here...

josiejellybean · 28/05/2008 21:31

girls i need a bit of a rant im so sorry but i just need to let it out.... i tested today i couldnt resist and it came back BFN i was so sure we had tried so hard this month and since having my LO my cycles have been kind of normal about 30-32 days my boobs are sore and i feel a bit crampy i have this dreaded feeling back in my stomach that my cycle is going all to pot again and i feel so down in the dumps im sorry im being so self absorbed but i feel realy poo . I dont mean to sound ungrateful i know i have a lovely daughter and i know some of you are still trying for number 1 but i dont know if i could take it agin if my cycles ranged from 28-90 days i think i would loose my mind but ive had lots of tests and do not have thyroid problems or PCOS why am i so abnormal?
sorry for the self absorbed rant i will get back on track but that BFN has really knocked me wish id never tested now

louwantsaBFPtoo · 28/05/2008 21:36

JJB it's fine - you go ahead and let it all out...

we've all needed to before now. I am struggling with BFN's and no AF too so am feeling for you!

Sending a large piece of virtual cake your way! xxxxx

beaniesteve · 28/05/2008 21:38

I've done an OV test and it's not showing ovulation so maybe it'll be ok

JosieJB, you're not being self absorbed, I felt like this last month. Don'tpanic, perhaps your cycles will carry on at 30 something days so don't panic. I know it's hard but BFNs do this to you. I'm always wishing I hadn't tested but sometimes it's so hard not to.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 29/05/2008 09:29

Please can some nice person put me back at the top? After an epic and very frustrating cycle, the old witch turned up this morning.
Off to the docs in the morning to do a "glasto" I'm now onto 11 months since MC, and although I say it every month, I just cant keep doing this to myself and DH. At least if I see the doc im being proactive.
Hope everyone is getting a bit of sunshine like we are today!

glastochick · 29/05/2008 11:43

Doing a glasto, ROFL. I like it .

So sorry to hear TEW got you lou. Beanie, your BDing may have been enough. Why not try again today? Last cycle I got EWCM but didn't get a positive OPK until a few days later. Yesterday's OPK tested negative, I have EWCM this morning, so I'm wondering what the OPK will say today. Going to pounce on DH regardless tonight and every night until Tuesday. I don't care how tired we both are. I'm on a serious mission!

JJB don't feel bad for ranting here. We're all here for you. And you're not abnormal at all

beaniesteve · 29/05/2008 11:48

Hiya Glasto, I think ovulation has passed now as I had peaks yesterday and the day before and the scan said it was all ready to go on Tuesday, so am hoping that we've done enough but may have a go tonight.

I had EWCM in abundance yesterday, or could it have been erm, something else?

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 29/05/2008 12:36

hi beanie - yes it was lou2311, I'm Cycle 11 now. just put lou if it's easier! thanks xx

lol at "erm, something else?" know that one!

Ta for sympathy Glasto, am taking some painkillers and going to lie down for a bit as doubled up with cramps and backache now. it just makes it harder when you feel like this.
x

glastochick · 29/05/2008 13:09

Beanie, you made me snigger at work reading about "something else". Now everyone thinks I'm a loon and is giving me strange looks

Fingers crossed your BDing was in time to catch that egg!

Oh Lou, cycle 11. Gosh. You're an inspiration to us all for hanging in there. You deserve your BFP soon

Lou Sorry TEW got you, hope your hot water bottle had the effect you needed
Beanie LMAO at "something else"

emma2617 · 29/05/2008 15:18

Good afternoon ladies! I just had to come on here and shout EWCM!! Just noticed the prescence of it...by the bucket load, but unfortunately can't share my joy with the folks at work as it might be a bit too much information for them!

But now thanks to Beanie I'm wondering whether it could be "something else"!!

JJB sending you big cyber hugs...hope you're feeling a bit more upbeat today

HopingCat · 29/05/2008 15:49

Hi to everyone.
I'm a bit confused. Was on mn couple of years ago and joined a ttc thread, which I loved as everyone was so supportive. Thought I'd do same again now we're planning baby no.2 but there seems to be lots of different ttc threads now.
Am I in the right place. Can I join you on here? I haven't read all 29 pages of posts but this seems a nice group of people.

HC x

beaniesteve · 29/05/2008 16:34

Hiya Hopingcat,
I'm fairly new and at one point was dashing between different TTC threads but I decided to stick with this one for no particular reason.

I think there are several, and 2WW ones. Someone mentioned a week or so ago that there used to be monthly ones?

Anyway, what cycle are you on, DPO etc?

HopingCat · 29/05/2008 17:03

There did used to be monthly ttc threads. I used to be one one called 'ttc an October baby' or something like that. There was basically a new thread each month so that the thread didn't get too enormous.

I can't remember what some of the abbreviations mean, like DPO and WW. So I'll tell you a bit about myself and see if I answer your questions. I'm 29 and have an 18 month old daughter. DH and I have decided to ttc for number 2 from now onwards, so I'm waiting for af to arrive this week sometime then we'll be ttc properly. So I'm on cycle -1 I suppose!

ChuffyKrumhorn · 29/05/2008 20:40

Nice to meet you all!
I am a Newbie...I made a thread on secondary infertility, but no one has responded yet.
I have two boys,14yrs and almost 4yrs (see my profile page ).
Been TTC since youngest was nine mos old, --so, it has been almost THREE years now!
Just got my second round of blood tests done, will be discussing the results with my doc on June 17th.
I am currently on Cycle Day 6 of Cycle #33...is this the info you'd like from us?Does this make sense?
I am 34 yrs old and yearning for my 3rd and last child.
Please read my thread for details --if you have the time/interest (...I think I posted it at a 'not-so-busy' time of day on mumsnet...).
Thanks!
Chuffy K

josiejellybean · 29/05/2008 21:23

welcome chuffy and HC. i hope you find this thred helpful and that it brings you good luck... chuffy i read your secondary infertility thred im sorry no one has replied earlier there will be someone who knows all about it ......unfortunatly thats not me sorry it took me 4 years to get DD so keep going youll get thereXX im sure ive got lots of questions about canada to ask you tho! i would love to live there one day...it seems like the land of opportunity at the moment
well AF still hasn't arrived ive no idea whats going on im feeling a little more positive today....if no AF soon im going to go and hasstle my GP

MollieMooma · 29/05/2008 21:32

JJB How you feeling today?
Chuffy Hi, welcome, read your thread too but another one that can't help I'm afraid! I'm still trying for Number 1 (over 2 yrs) Very jealous that you live in Canada, I have relatives over there and also travelled across from Vancouver to Ontario for 6.5 weeks back in 2000, I fell in love but unfortunately can't emigrate as my dh is diabetic (so would cost a fortune in health insurance) Hope your GP can get things going quickly for you

ChuffyKrumhorn · 29/05/2008 22:38

MollieMooma & josiejellybean I have always wanted to go trans-Atlantic and visit the UK.
As a Canadian I feel drawn to and more similar to my British & European peers than the Americans with whom we share the continent...strange.We even have photos of the queen in our schools' foyers, and we spell things CORRECTLY as in: harbor Harbour, color Colour, favor Favour etc.We even call our mothers "MUM"!
You can visit here ANYTIME!
-SERIOUSLY, you are more than welcome to visit us. You could stay and we could show you all around our part of Canada! The airfare from the UK to Nova Scotia is low (--we are literally just across the water, on the East Coast)...and your money goes sooo far here!
I have friends who moved to Nova Scotia from Hampshire...they are over the moon! They came with all their savings and were able to buy a house with self contained in-law suite in a glorious place in the valley.A place like that would have been out of reach for them (--as in a million $ + ) in England. They still have money to spare.
I wish you the best of luck on your TTC journeys !!!

*

We may have different circumstances, but we are hoping for the same outcome.
I am so looking forward to spending time here in the forum with you guys, bouncing ideas around and giving/receiving support.

Thanks for letting me hang around!

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 30/05/2008 03:45
