Oh my god beanie - you live in cardiff...i do too

LittleSquirt · 06/05/2008 13:18

Hi everyone

Gutted that the long weekend is over already! The weather was so nice too, I wish it could have gone on for ever!

Welcome Blackrock

Sorry she got you Sparkly

Hello to everyone else too

beaniesteve · 06/05/2008 14:03

Ha! Sparkly - where about? I'm in Splott, or Splo!

SparklyGirlFriday · 06/05/2008 16:50

I'm in Pontcanna beanie. It's a glorious day in Cardiff today. Let's hope someone waves a wand of baby dust over us

ShayeraHol · 06/05/2008 19:59

Evening all

Can't believe the weather was so nice today and I was stuck in an office getting stressed. Grrrrrrr. If it carries on like this for another couple of days, I'll be able to do my day from home on Thursday in the garden which will be cool!

Am annoyed - Mr Hol is away for 2 nights this week, and they're 2 relatively important nights. You'd think his work would work around my baby plans, vastly inconsiderate!

JustJaamy · 06/05/2008 21:07

Sheraya - Sorry you missed the sun today. Think is due to last til the weekend It's not great having DHs away at the wrong time of the month, is it? That's why I don't chart or temp. Doesn't seem much point when DH has absolutely no idea where he is going to be from one week to the next. No point in knowing that I'm ovulating when he's 400 miles away! Just have to make the most of it when they are at home and hope you catch the right time.

Sparkly - thanks for updating and the hag caught you.

Welcome back to blackrock! Did you fall off the list? Hope things are ok with you.

Scully - sorry to hear that the mc was incomplete and that you can't get stuck in as you'd like just yet. Don't you just hate all of the waiting that is involved in TTC. Hugs to you and hope you can get back into the swing of things soon.

Hi to everyone else - littlesquirt, ei, tink, beaniesteve, lou, etc Hope those of you who are absent from the thread are making the most of ov.

Not much going on here. DH away again but no matter as I've only said goodbye to AF yesterday. Had a no-pressure BD to celebrate before DH went away! Looking forward to a good old session or 2 or 3 when he gets home at the weekend.

JustJaamy · 06/05/2008 23:03

Sorry Shayera! Too much typing and not paying attention!

beaniesteve · 07/05/2008 10:18

Been thinking - I ovulated on CD15/16, my cycle was 23 days last month and has been mostly 24 days in general. This gives me an 8 day luteal phase. hmmmmmm

I hope not. by my calculations I am due on Monday.

BS if you do think your luteal phase might be too short (8 days is short) then you should speak to your GP and get him to refer you to a gynae I reckon.

Let us know what happens.

07mumstheword · 07/05/2008 14:02

Sorry to gatecrash bit I've just spotted Ei had a CP in April 08. I'm so so sorry, I know how that feels and it's pants. I wish you lots of luck and babydust it will happen I'm 16 + 3 now so I hope that give you a little hope. (((hugs)))

Best wishes to everyone else too here's some baby dust for you all **

beaniesteve · 07/05/2008 14:13

LittleSquirt, I'm not sure. I apparently ovulated on CD 12/13 last month (Using CBFM) and the month before my cycle was 30+ days for no reason (My cycle is 24 days regular as clockwork though last month it was 23) - what can a doctor do to lengthen your luteal phase?

beaniesteve · 07/05/2008 14:14

NB - this month the CBFM said I ovulated around CD16.

LittleSquirt · 07/05/2008 16:57

Hi BS I am no expert so would hate to give you the wrong advice. If your LP was 10 days last month (23 day cycle, OV on CD12/13) then I think that's fine.
If you think you ovulated on CD16 this month then maybe you'll be having a longer cycle?

But as I said, I am not expert so if you are worried then you should mention it to your GP.

beaniesteve · 07/05/2008 17:00

I am thinking if I don't get pregnant this month then I will contact my doctor again and ask what the next step for me is. I am 38 now and don't want to be leaving it too late.

beaniesteve · 07/05/2008 17:03

Oh - and I don't know if it's too early for symptom spotting (only about 4 dpo) but my wee is REALLY Yellow.

LittleSquirt · 07/05/2008 17:19

Ooh, does that count as a symptom? My wee has been almost fluorescent yellow for a few weeks but I thought it was the fact that I was on new preconception pills...(I was on the new Pregnacare Preconception ones). I have moved back to "normal" pregnacare now and I think my wee is back to its usual colour...

beaniesteve · 07/05/2008 17:36

I've never seen it as a symptom, specially not before implantation. But mine is very tellow and I am thinking I have a urine infection coming

JustJaamy · 07/05/2008 19:32

What a glorious day it has been!

Thanks for babydust 07MTW. Hope all going well with you and bump.

BS - wee gets a stronger colour (ie, less dilute) if you are de-hydrated. Could just be this hotter weather we're having. Make sure you keep up your fluid intake.

Thanks for updating littlesquirt - have just added in blackrock...

josiejellybean · 07/05/2008 22:42

sparkly bummer about AF the witch
bs good luck i hope it means you'll get a BFP

louwantsaBFPtoo · 08/05/2008 10:25

hello all - have whizzed through the last 2 pages, hope everyone is ok today? Another glorious sunny day! I always feel so much better when it's sunny.
Confusion is reigning here - I am cd25/26 but dont know if I ovulated as stayed of my CB monitor this month. But... had some pinkish CM this morning when I wiped. sorry if TMI! have taken temp for a few days with my crappy thermometer which was showing really low temp (36.1, 36.2) Today its showing 36.5.
Dont know whats going on - I never Ov this late! Any ideas girls?
thanks xx

LittleSquirt · 08/05/2008 11:15

Morning everyone!

Lou - could be implantation bleed rather than OV bleed maybe? I hope so for you!

Well, I have no idea what my body is up to either. I started getting some very light spotting yesterday evening, only CD25?! I know that I OV'd on CD14 so that's a much shorted LP for me than usual (over the past year it's always been 13/14 days...). Anyway, I am not counting CD1 until it is red (sorry TMI) so I'll have to wait and see when that happens.

I can't believe I'm only on CD26 and my hopes for this month have already been dashed

beaniesteve · 08/05/2008 12:55

Aw LittleSquirt, hope you're ok.

I am going to be knicker checking all weekend.

LittleSquirt · 08/05/2008 13:11

Thanks BS

This is quite strange, the spotting seems to have stopped now. Still mild cramps. Very unusual for me...
