lou2311 · 30/04/2008 16:56

Jaamy - you'll be pleased to hear I am "bonking away" in the nicest possible way...LOL
C'mon BFP Jan '08!
Not that I am getting excited before i even might have OV! I'll be looking for Preg symptoms during my AF next!
MS sparkle - wow! wish that could happen to me soon!
glasto and Jaamy - I will have to ask her about crunchy bits for ovaries - she did mention dry patches in places tho which she said were stress related
She also advised me not to eat when I am stressed as your body is in fight or flight mode and will store the food as fat. She said have a glass of water and sit down for 5 mins, to relax, then eat. Very interesting...
How are you feeling Ei? xx

JustJaamy · 30/04/2008 17:48

Hi Ladies,

I nearly had a massive argument with my DH. He said I was on Cycle 17 and I said I was on Cycle 19. I haven't been paying attention obviously. As over the last month my Cycles have been increased to 18 and then 19. When you have been trying to concieve another child for so long an increase of two cycles can be quite upsetting.

Sorry for the whining . I really appreciate those of you who are kind enough to update the list. I hope I have not upset anyone. I promise to pay closer attention in the future.

SparklyGirlFriday · 30/04/2008 19:39

Haven't checked in for a few days. Expecting AF on Monday but I think she may come earlier because my temp has really dropped. Here is my chart for anyone who wants a look here.
Lockets Wlecome back. Sorry you had to join us again. Lots of luck for a fast conception.
Glasto The reflexology sounds great. I'm so tempted to try it myself. I keep saying this but think I will def start next month.
Nervousal The obsessing starts here. Lots of luck to you.
MsSparkle Big congrats to you!!!
Eleveld Hope you get somes answers soon. If she doesn't sure and your sure you OV it might be worth a trip to GP for blood pg test.
Lou Hope you get the egg.
Jaamy So sorry she got you. [hugs]

Hi to everyone else.

Back to CD1 for me - grrrrrr.

This month's reasons why it's ok really: At least now, hubby will also be in his 30s when potential baby eventually shows up!

lou2311 · 01/05/2008 12:40

hi peeps,
just been told by my lovely friend, that she is pregnant with no. 3. She was so worried about telling me, i felt bad for crying on her but she was so lovely to me. I am now feeling incredibly sorry for myself, and feel like the bottom has dropped out of my world. All my lovely feelings after BD this morning have disappeared.
It's never going to be my turn...
and I am seeing my other friend and her brand new baby tonight - how am i going to not cry then?
really dont like this version of me at the moment.

lou2311 · 01/05/2008 12:57

think positive Lou! Sorry about that last post.
Am going for a cup of tea, and a choccie biscuit.(or 2) Have stopped sobbing now, and breathing normally again! Always helps!
I WILL be pregnant, I WILL be pregnant, I WILL be pregnant, I WILL be pregnant....
(Lou wanders off muttering mantra to self..)

LittleSquirt · 01/05/2008 13:15

Lou - you poor thing. It's so hard when other people announce their pregnancies. I know how you feel and send you big hugs. And it ABSOLUTELY WILL be your turn, very soon I am sure (especially with all that BD'ing you seem to be doing! ).

JJ & SH - so sorry she got you

Ei - exciting that your egg might make an appearance soon. Get BD'ing girl!

My Gynae appointment went really well on Tuesday. He was a lovely man and listened to me really patiently and answered all my questions. I now have to wait for my next period and will then book an HSG (basically they will inject dye and then take X-rays of my uterus and tubes). This will tell me whether I have any scarring in my uterus. After that he will also measure the lining of my womb to make sure it is thick enough to receive an egg. And he said that as I have had one MC already, he will be happy to monitor my progesterone levels and give me stuff if that's not quite high enough. He really was a lovely man and I feel like I am in excellent hands so it is a real relief (my last gynae was good but always make me feel like I was making a massive fuss when I asked for tests).

Hello and big hugs to everyone! x

lou2311 · 01/05/2008 13:17

Thanks LS glad there is someone out there today!
BD'ing this month is def up on last months tally!
xxxx

LittleSquirt · 01/05/2008 13:23

Indeed I am here CB!

Do you have long cycles then? Do you think you have OV'd or will OV soon? x

lou2311 · 01/05/2008 13:31

Mine are between 29 - 36 days, usually ovulate around 18 or 19. so hence the manic BD'ing Have PCOS so things have always been up in the air. But when i got pregnant before, it was around the same days of my cycle. Just really want a sticky bean this time.
your appt sounded good with gynae, think I will get checked out if nothing this month as it has been nearly a year since MC. Will have to be assertive and push to get an appt through GP. xxx

LittleSquirt · 01/05/2008 14:12

My BF has PCOS too and I have spoken to her a lot about it. She didn't have ANY periods at all for over 4 months after her MC. Then found a nice Gynae who put her on Metformin and she's been having very regular cycles since, although she's not had her BFP yet either.

I do recommend seeing a private consultant if you can afford to do that (or if you have insurance through work). I contacted my consultant first, made an appointement and then asked GP for the referral letter which she was happy to write.

JustJaamy · 01/05/2008 16:32

Oh Lou. Sorry the thread was a bit quiet when you needed us. At least LittleSquirt was here and had some wise words for you.

Although I don't suffer from PCOS, I did wait ever such a long time for DD1 to come along so I know all about friends getting pg and the dark days when you feel it will never be your turn. I think all of us here have days like that. I don't think we would be normal if we didn't. It sounds like you have some lovely, considerate friends and hopefully with us here on the thread you feel that you are geting some support.

Will be extra happy for you when you get your BFP! Take care, enjoy your BDing and spoil yourself a bit, you deserve it!

Thanks for the comiserations, Sparkly, Ei, tink and LittleSquirt. At least I won't have morning sickness on holiday. DOn't want to sound flippant because this pg would mean everything to me, just trying to put a positive spin on things.

ShareyaHol - sorry TEW got you too. £) is a good age for a man to become a daddy!

Have update list. Please if any of the stats are wrong copy and paste into a new post with your figures amended.

Thanks jaamy - dark day in this household. What do you do when you feel you cant keep going? Answer - you just keep going anyway. I learnt that when suffering from depression a couple of years ago. just feel drained now. Have been watching some TV, and randomly bursting into tears. Who knew "the Apprentice" could make you cry!?

Think I am def going to see my GP for a referral, but not sure whether to wait 2 weeks till the end of my cycle, or go now. What does everyone think? At this rate I'll be asing for Citalopram again to get me steady!

lou2311 · 01/05/2008 16:47

i am sure it will be your day soon keep bdingi have only just come off citalopram about a month ago

littlesq glad that your appointment went well

ShayeraHol · 01/05/2008 20:58

Just changing mine - think the timing of my post was misleading!

Hope all those waiting have better luck than me. Didn't think that last month was my month anyway - between friends having 30th, work conference and general badness, would have pickled the poor little thing in red wine! Will be better this month

jammy, I think 30 is a good age for him to be too - I'll be at LEAST 31 when it happens for us, if he was able to say he was still in his 20s I'd have been very annoyed with him!
