Nappy, I'm the wrong person to ask, I had an awful time in NYC as it's where my XH and I had our marriage-ending standoff on 34th Street last year! I agree about the shopping though, I stormed straight into Macy's and spent $300 on makeup.
If you do take a boat tour, don't go around the entire island of Manhattan. It was three ultra-boring hours, nothing like as good as going down the Thames. Rockefeller Center was good though. Didn't go to twin towers site or Statue of Liberty either.
Ready don't give up on O just yet, it's not too late!
PreGP, I was VERY lucky with my citizenship application. Since I hit the three year mark exactly one day before the testing requirement came in, I didn't have to take the test! But because everyone who'd put off applying was trying to get their application in on the same day, it took about 8 months to get citizenship and the passport.
ClairLesley, I want my kids to be dual citizens as well---research suggests kids will mostly vote like their parents, so it will be like having three votes in U.S. Elections! Could have used that in 2004...grrrr....(smacks self for bringing up politics).
Beanie the reason your fertility monitor needs time is because we all have different levels of hormones, no one is going to be exactly the same. What's high or peak for you might be different from others, so the monitor needs a few cycles to work out what is 'normal' for you. Same with using FF, it gets better at interpreting the longer you use it because your temps and O patterns aren't going to be exactly the same as anyone else.
