Thanks. I know with ds though I didn't feel pg until I got a bump because I had no morning sickness.

I was pg at the same time as 2 people I work with and they both got it. 1 got it really really bad and I felt awful as I was fine.

sorkycake · 06/04/2008 20:54

lissielou is it true that what you don't know about testing isn't worth knowing? ;)

I have a question about false positives and have got myself completely in a tizz

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 20:56

Whats up Sorky?

I read you cant get false positives.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 20:56

i do have some knowldge, whats happened?

Hiya !!

Im on CD24 today and already POAS yesterday (neg) but not due till Thursday. Im not hopeful this month but Im getting the urge to keep testing!!

Arghhh!

Im thinking of binning all my cheapie tests and just waitin to see if AF is late then going and buying 1 if it is!

How are you all??

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 21:01

disenchanted, that sounds like a great idea. if you have a cheapie then you will justify testing because its only 10p per test. then if you get a bfn (which you are more likely too) you will feel like crap. i will find that chart again!

OP posts:
Disenchanted · 06/04/2008 21:05

I think so Lissie

I might just pee on them all now! lol

And then If I get to friday I can buy one then for saturday morning.

Disenchanted · 06/04/2008 21:06

AFs due Tuesday Lissie? When are you thinking of testing?

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 21:08

weds morning, live test

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 21:09

The percentages of those who get their BFPs on set dpo are as follows:
10dpo=35%
11dpo=51%
12dpo=62%
13dpo=68%
14dpo=74%
15dpo=80%
16dpo=88%
17dpo=92%
and there are some who have not got their BFP until 21dpo

Aha - this is where you are lissie - have left the Hut briefly to stalk you

Will keep my fingers crossed for Wed!

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 21:16

hi DBNO, how are you? feeling too positive for the hut! shall probably be back there in a few days though...

OP posts:
Disenchanted · 06/04/2008 21:20

Thanks lissie,

Ive just done my cheapies to get rid of them and will wait to see if AF comes! If shes not here by friday afternoon Ill get a tesco test Which is CD29.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 21:24

good lass, and no peeking at them, so see if there are any lines.

OP posts:
downbutnotout · 06/04/2008 21:25

OK, I suppose thanks lissie - busy trying to tart myself up to encourage dh to bd me senseless (once He Kills Coppers has finished, obviously.)

Hope not to see you back in the hut, in the nicest possible way.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 21:29

pmsl, h is lucky now if i shave my legs around ov-time.

even if i do get a bfp, im not ready to truly leave the comfort of the hut/ttc threads.

OP posts:
downbutnotout · 06/04/2008 21:36

lol lissie - knew there was something I had forgotten...

Know what you mean though - bfp will always be a bit of a double-edged sword now, hey?

downbutnotout · 06/04/2008 21:38

Although obviously I wouldn't say no to one in two weeks

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 21:40

But the strange thing is that I'm actually in the mood myself at cd13.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 22:08

woo hoo! happy humping.

OP posts:
sorkycake · 06/04/2008 22:18

C&P'd lissie, your opinion please

so my testing today is as follows:

FR with fmu, test read outside the time, took apart and there is a faint pink line.

Sainsburys ob, Second mu, held about 5 hours, test positive, but faint, however it coloured straightaway as liquid was drawing up the stick iykwim.
Dh confirms there is a pink line, it is faint, but still coloured. That was 10 hours ago, dug test out of bin and now can hardly see the line.

CBE done a few minutes ago, negative!

Is it all a big fat cruel fake?

Am I pg at all?

I know it's very early at 10dpo. Does Sainsbury's ob give false positives?

It's doing my head in here. Was the sainsbury's an evaporaton,line after all?

Shall I just wait until tomorrow and test with the second sainsburys test with fmu?

I only bought the CBE because they were bogof in Boots. I normally don't buy them as I hate them.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2008 22:23

you should NEVER take apart tests, the air causes an evap line prematurely, the sainsburys test sounds positive though. wait until 14dpo and test again using FMU and a CB. i personally dont like FR, never had a bfp with them (even when I had my ep)
