Yay Go Nat!!!

I will not test until Friday. You better be here so I can tell you as dh is at work at 5 Friday morning.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 11:27

I'll be here, when am I ever not here???!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 11:32

Never!

Like me!! I now get dh to turn the laptop on so when I get in from work I can come straight on here.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 11:40

LOL and I get DH to turn it off when he has finished with it so I can't come on here!!!

Was sooooo nearly late for school this morning because I couldn't tear myself away from here! Nothing to do with DS1 taking an age to get dressed....!

calsworld · 01/04/2008 11:46

Kayz you are beginning to sound like you're addicted...

I'm not quite sure if I'm working or not - keep getting loads of calls from work related stuff, which I'm dealing with, and I'm going to check my email to make sure there's nothing urgent in there.

DS has gone to sleep with a little help from some piriton - foc from the nice (and rather dishy (male)) nurse at the drop in centre, so if my boss tells me I have to book time off what do I do? She thinks I've got a hosptial appt this afternoon - which I did have but I phoned to ask if OK to take DS and they said not so we've rescheduled it to May.

The hosp appt would normally be standard paid leave so am wondering if i shouldn't mention that its rescheduled as the next appt in may is so far away it could be a follow up? or best just to be honest? never been dishonest before...probably to my own detriment!

Plus - my next dilemma is that I could (very sceptical about this though) be pregnant and chicken pox and pregnancy don't go. The nurse said I should get an appt with the doctor if I think I am pg. How should I know? I'm on the 2ww so feel silly even mentioning it to the nurse.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 11:51

Cal, TBH, I don't really know why they say about CP and pregnancy, if you remember when I was pregnant with DS2, DS1 had something that looked a bit like CP, I rang the doctor, (because I have never had CP), he wanted me to have a blood test, I went and had it, rang for the results a week later, and she said they hadn't come in yet, left it another week and got fobbed off again, I still to this day don't know the results! So I don't think it can be that serious? But if you are worried, then chase it up, better to be safe than sorry.

And about work, I think I'd tell them the truth, what will happen if you do? Will you just not get paid for this afternoon? Could you book it as leave? (So you'll lose an afternoons holiday but not lose the money?)

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 11:52

I think I am addicted.

I was told when I was pg that because I had chicken pox when I was a kid it was ok. My neice had it when I was pg but I did keep away just incase.

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 01/04/2008 12:04

Hullo all - just dashing in!

Hope you are all well? Not had a chance to catch up yet but I will hopefully...

Family here and trying to do some work in between!

CD...erm...5!! And haven't even been near ebay for OPK's or HPT's...

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 12:05

LOL Teuch, keep it up!!! (or maybe just get the HPT's, I remember how long we all waited for them to be delivered a few months ago!!)

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 12:06

Please can you explain why dh insists that ds's wipes be kept upstairs when we never change him up there anymore??

Ds just had a really bad pooey nappy and I ran out of wipes, so I had to put a clean nappy on him, run upstairs, get wipes and come back down and change him again.

We haven't changed ds upstairs in months, not this year at all.

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 12:07

Thats the spirit(sp) Teuch!!!

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 12:11

Kay we have a similar thing here, DS2 is changed upstairs in his room, DS1 insists on using wipes when he goes for a poo, and I use them to take my make up off at night, so a packet stays in the bathroom, and we have a packet normally downstairs for hands and face and the sofa, you'd think we couldn't move for packets of wipes, but nope, you can never find a packet anywhere when you are desperate for them!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 12:14

Its so annoying, I tell him at least once a week to leave a packet in the living room with his nappies but he always forgets.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 12:17

Well I suppose I had better do some lunch, DS2 looks ready to fall asleep, but he won't sleep long if he hasn't eaten!

See you all in 10 mins an hour or so

calsworld · 01/04/2008 12:23

Thanks guys, been doing some reading on MN old threads and good old google and as far as I can make out I'm absolutely fine coz I've had it before.

Re work, well, I'm not going to worry about that either...if she wants me to book holiday, I will do - its no big deal really. We've got a day holiday booked next week to take DS to Alton Towers coz they have a kiddy swimming play centre thing there (he goes to waterbabies swimming lessons so loves playing in water) but I guess if this is def CP then he won't be able to go?

I know if its crusted over it will be OK but to be honest, I wouldn't want to be in the water with a scabby child so don't think I should expect anyone else to be!

He's been asleep ages - I'd better grab some lunch before he wakes up!

See you in a bit, C

OOoooh - HPT's - might be time to order some, now what did I do with that 5% discount code...

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 12:25

I wish ds would go to sleep. He looks knackered and I could really do with a nap before work. he just wont go to sleep, he just cries about it.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 12:29

Oooooh Cal, you big Tease!!! Poor Teuch is trying her best y'know, don't go offering her 5% discount codes (the code BTW was value5% at www.buy-clearblue.co.uk, www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk or www.valuemed.co.uk)
on early detection pregnancy tests, that is not fair!!!

calsworld · 01/04/2008 12:36

LOL

Thanks NJ - at least I don't need to go looking for it now!!!

Sorry Teuch, at how unsupportive of me that was, it actually wasn't deliberate...honest!

calsworld · 01/04/2008 12:38

I know its lunch time but I can't wait as when DS wakes it will be game over for me and MN....

Isn't CM supposed to dry up after OV?

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 12:41

I normally find my CM dries up pretty much straight away, but this cycle it didn't dry up completely, and then last week came out like a waterfall, and every now and then since then has had a bit of a down pour.... I am trying to word this nicely but it isn't working, is it?!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 12:44

Mine dried up straight away this month.

Ds is asleep but I cant get to sleep.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 13:08

OK getting the normal pre-period cramps now, so I guess it really isn't pregnancy (again!)

I am now back to worrying.

Oh how I wish I had never found MN/found out about cycles/could live in ignorance to all of this, just like it was when we were TTC DS1!

No I just wish I could be normal and not read things into every little thing, and not get huge bellies out of no where, and arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Blardy hell!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 14:14

NAT!!!!

Just read my 'Pregnancy for Dummies' book and it says that bloating is a common symptom of early pregnancy and that some women can wake up one day and look 6 months pg before even getting a BFP!!!!

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 14:19

Kay period is on it's way, although the cramps have stopped now, normally on the day it's due I get about 2 hours of cramping and then it starts and cramps stop, but had about 5 minutes of cramps and they stopped, have checked and double checked no period yet......

Kay, I know it can happen, my mum woke up with a bump, didn't even have a clue she could be pregnant, but sure enough she was 4 weeks gone.

DS2 I got the BFP on the Thursday woke up on the Saturday with the bump, and with the MC, started bleeding on the Sunday woke up on the Monday with the bump, went to the loo and the sac came away, so I wasn't even technically pregnant then!

God I wish it would hurry up and get here then I can concentrate on worrying for real!! LOL How bloody wierd does that sound?!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 14:23

Cramps are also very common in pregnancy.

I so so still think you are pg.

I refuse to think it could be anything else.

But if you are just think how big you will be at 9 months!!!
