LOL Kay, you are not helping at the moment!! LOL

I started off huge with DS2 as well, was still huge at 20 weeks, they sent me for a diabetes test, came back clear, by 30 weeks I was ready to pop, but then slowed down a lot, and was only really the last week or so that I started growing again, DS2 was 8lbs 10, so not massive, but I had bucket fulls of water, seriously, the midwife that was there when I delivered said she'd never seen so much water!

It was lovely though, after the pushing and stretching, he came out followed by lots of warm water, it was very refreshing!! LOL

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 14:28

LOL,

I got a bump at about 12 weeks, which the mw said was very early for a 1st. But I was a size 10 back then and she said that may be why.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 14:33

Yep DS1 was about 12 weeks, I had gotten 'rounder' before then, but a proper bump formed out of the roundness at 12 weeks.

I remember answering the door to a girl trying to flog me electricity when I was 9 weeks (just had the scan that day so remember it well!) and she asked when I was due, so I must have been round then, or she picked up on a round belly, and decided she might just win me over and sell some 'leccy!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 14:38

LOL. People asked me from about 12 weeks when I was due. One woman who comes into the supermarket everyday asked me everyday.

Apparently I may have a quick 2nd labour. I dont know how as I was in labour for 20 hours but I am scared that like my friend at work I may give birth in a layby.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 14:41

A quick labour is my biggest fear this time, last one was 2 hours, DH can be anything up to 4 hours away, I've no one to look after the kids/get DS1 from school, I am already petrified of going into labour on my own with no one here, or even worse with the kids here.... but can't do anything about it, it'll happen when it happens.

Why do you think you'd have a quick labour?

Was just thinking, if period doesn't come and I still don't get a BFP by Thursday, am I better off putting GP's off until either period comes, or I get a BFP? It's just if I go to doc's and I say, I'm late, got a huge belly, but tests say neg. won't he just send me away and tell me to test again in a week?!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 14:43

I'd go to the doctors if I was you, just incase its not pregnancy.

The MW said I would have a very quick labour when she read my notes when I came out of hospital. I think my established labour was about 4 hours.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 14:47

Sounds like my first labour.... from first niggle to birth was about 12 hours, but from 4cms to birth was about 3 hours.

You are probably right about doc's, besides, don't think DH would let me off with it...

Ooooh hang on, more cramps... I am sure it is on it's way.

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 14:52

"You may feel a vague, menstrual-like cramoing sensation during the first trimester - this is a very common symptom"

Straight from my book!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 14:52

or a cramPing sensation.

I went from 5cm to birth in 4 hours.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 15:09

Well no period yet, but I think it is just playing with me, this time tomorow it will be hear....

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 15:13

It may not!!

Damn stupid test.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 15:16

Tut hear????? Here obviously....!

3 convo's, 3 thread's, not bad!!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 15:22

I know aren't we good.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 15:26

Not sure good is the right word to use, a bit barmy maybe!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 15:27

Yeah I know!

calsworld · 01/04/2008 15:43

I've got CM which is not normal, and mild cramping and had a bit of an upset tummy, so far it feels like a repeat of last month , hope not, if I keep up my 6 week cycle it reduces the no of opportunities I have to get pg.

I'm not convinced that DS has CP. He only has four bumps on his left knee and if I really really look there are some really pale, not raised pin head (very small pins, btw) red marks on his other leg, hand etc....all the pictures show lots of spots everywhere - how long does it take from first few spots to full body break out?

I have two little red bumps on my tummy

calsworld · 01/04/2008 15:45

NJ, when I went to the docs with my diarrhoea last month (do you remember I had it for five days?) he said if I was late and had BFN but was TTC then keep testing till either BFP or period BUT I didn't have strangely swollen tummy.

Have to be honest though hon, your tum is still smaller than mine, and that's when I breathe in!!

I really should have tried to lose more weight before TTC this time around.

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 15:52

Right I am at work at 4 so I had better go.

I'll be back at about half 8 ish.

So night to everyone who'll be gone before then.

And no Nat I am not testing again today!!!

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 15:55

PMSL Cal

I don't know very much about CP TBH, neither of mine have had it (well not AFAIK, never found out DS1 actually did have it while I was pregnant). I think they are white blisters but don't quote me on it. I do know that you only need to have 1 spot for it to be CP though.

But what you describe sound like flea bites to me (our cat pick some fleas up a couple of summers ago) flea bites are red spot, with pin pricks in them, normally on arms and legs (extremities) but can obviously be anywhere. Can't remember if you have pets or not? Have you been anywhere with animals around recently? Or even sat on grass at the park or anything like that?

And CM, I haven't got a clue about but when my waterfall happened the other day people on here were saying it is a sign of pregnancy....

calsworld · 01/04/2008 16:28

NJ - that was my suspicion!! We were at my mums this weekend and she has cats.

Also I have a dog but don't think she has fleas.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 16:32

A great test for fleas is to wet a tissue/kitchen roll, and run it around the dog bed, or under the dog's fur especially around the neck and around the erm.... nether regions, you are looking to pick up little black dots, looks a bit like black salt, if the black dot's turn to red in the wet tissue it is fleas (the black dots are actually the flea's poo, and it turns red due to the blood in it).

What a mine of useless information I am?!!

calsworld · 01/04/2008 16:39

Hmmmm may get DH to 'test' the mutt later - I don't do canine nether regions!

Just not sure that he should be off nursery and me off work coz not sure if CP or bloody flea bites!

To be honest, I did mention that he'd been around cats to the nurse and he still said he thought it was CP.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 16:41

Well like I said I don't know anything about CP, so I'd take her word over mine

calsworld · 01/04/2008 16:44

Don't say that, I don't want it to be CP.

I like believing you.

If I believe you, I'm probably pregnant!!!

When can I test with supersensitive? Up to four days before due date . Bum, that's still a week away!!

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 16:46

LOL don't believe a word I say, full of shit I am!!

You are soooooo pregnant, 6 months at least....!

Are they the same sensitive ones Kay bought? I think she said from 7-10 DPO....
