NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 09:05

Awwww bless her

Well the weather out there looks for a nice day snuggled with mum on the sofa under the poorly blanket.

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 09:36

If I was you Nat I'd be getting DH to get back here and take me straight away!

And yes humans do get phantom pregnancies. Men get them when their partners are pg. My mates dp did and he got a big belly and morning sickness and contractions. It was really funny.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 09:50

I think that is a bit different though Kay, have heard the things about men going through it with their partners, but AFAIK phantom pregnancies don't happen out of no where to humans?

Do I dare do a Google? Will bring up all sorts of freaky wierd strange things....!

Not quite as simple to just drag him home, it really cocks people up at work if he has to come home, in emergencies it is different, but just for a trip to the docs, seems a shame to muck all of his staff around.

popcornprincess · 01/04/2008 09:52

Hi all - period came on saturday - Whoo Hoo - now I know where I stand. I'm going to dot he moonwalk so we have decided not to ttc - yeah right! plan is that if i think like that then it will happen!!! heehee

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 09:54

I still would be getting him home and to the doctors.

Here you can get it but you dont really fit in except you have lost a baby so this could be what is happening to you.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:00

Yeah, OK, can see the link with the MC, but I haven't been dwelling on it (well not since a couple of weeks after it happened) and I am nowhere near convinced I am pregnant.

'Tis interesting though!

Pop sorry about period, and you never know, taking advantage of sod's law, might just work!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 10:03

I know, but all will be revealed soon.

There is no way that the mc was twins and one has survived is there? Or does that not happen?

Please slap me!!!
I have bought a First Response test. Why?????

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:07

It is actually quite common for a twin to be lost, but since the MC, I have had heavy periods, and loads of BFN's, plus, I have always gotten so big so early in pregnancy, I would be about half way through if I was still pregnant from the MC, I'd be huge by now, and feeling movement.

You know why you bought it, lock it in DH's briefcase with the others till Friday.

I cant lock it in the briefcase until after 3pm!!!! 3PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah thats true you be a lot bigger and be feeling movement.

But then again some people dont know they are pg until they give birth.
My supervisors SIL had loads of IVF and they gave up and about a year after their last IVF attempt she was rushed to hospital and was told she was in Labour. She thought it was appendicitus(sp)

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:17

Someone else on here the other day said things like that happen to the people who aren't trying/don't want it to happen (I know after IVF they must have wanted it, but I bet they weren't 'trying'.)

Go out till 3? Out of the house, and leave test at home, or save the toilet breaks for 4 hours and do it?!!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 10:23

Its horrible weather here. Plus I'm exhausted. I am not going to do it. I have no symptoms except craving silverskin pickled onions. I bought a jar and I am eating them from the jar with a fork.

I've just read this Number 33 and its so funny. If only it ws true we'd save so much money.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:47

I bet you are saving your toilet breaks though?!!!

LOL at dandelion's leaves, I was half way out the door to pick some weeds till I read it doesn't work!!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 10:49

It would be great. My mum picks them for the guinea pigs so I was off round to get some.

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 10:50

Here to make you laugh.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:51

Pah, don't avoid the question Kay, when did you last pee?

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 10:51

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:55

PMSL, Have called my husband DH to my sister on the phone before now, also do DS1/2/DH, in emails and texts but normally only to DH, he knows what they all mean now!!

When we first started talking about TTC'ing again, he used to always call it TTC

Right so if you pee'd at 10.45, that means you can test at 2.45 So by the time DH is home and you can lock the test away, you'll be able to use it....

OK OK, I am going to stop encouraging you, it is still quite early to test.....

calsworld · 01/04/2008 10:56

Hi all, I'm at home today as DS has been diagnosed with

CHICKEN POX!!!!

Blardy Hell. Power cut, defrosted freezer and now chicken pox.

They think...

So we're at home and I'll be keeping an eye on you all! NJ - what does your tummy do if you lie down on it? Does it squish or stay hard? Does it hurt at all?

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 10:57

I am not going to test until thursday Friday at the earliest.

Hopefully.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:58

Oh no, poor DS, still gives you some time to MN!!

If I lie on my belly, it does squish, but I can feel something there, almost as though I am led on something small, a teddy or something IYKWIM? It doesn't hurt at all.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 10:59

Yes Thursday Friday sounds good, I will change my ways and help you stay away from the test, well I'll try anyway!!

kayzisbroody · 01/04/2008 11:05

You'll never change Nat. LOL, if I am pg I hope the Morning sickness stays away again.

Oh Cal I am so sorry about DS hope it doesn't upset him too much.

NatalieJane · 01/04/2008 11:09

OK hows this for changed?

Kay you must not test until Friday, it will only lead to dissapointment, and even if it's BFN you'll convince yourself that it is wrong until your period shows up. And if it is BFP, well, it wouldn't have been a BFP today or tomorrow or Thursday, so don't waste your money. Take this from someone who knows!

How was that?
