Thought it was time we had a new home, seeing as we've almost outgrown the old one. So in honour to Scorpio, Sybil, BB and toomuch (hope I didn't forget anyone ) here we are - in the company of pregnant (and cheerful) ladies

Gilly Wishing you all the best with the Clomid and treatment next week - not long now! Thanks for agreeing to answer any questions - will have a think nearer the time. (Had a letter postponing our NHS appointment by another week in August so quite glad I've got something closer now!) I had a quick look at what you did on your first appointent and saw you had a baseline scan - not something which was mentioned when I saw the specialist before so hopefully they'll be able to do it at the ACU. Because of holidays, the earliest we'd be able to start any treatment would be July anyway.

Nomore Glad your follices are growing properly! Best of luck next week - will be thinking of you.

Hello to everyone else. [happy]

mistlethrush · 24/05/2008 19:09

Nomore hope thing continue well - have a lovely slobby weekend!

nomoremagnolia · 24/05/2008 23:47

I'm so slobbed out I can't be ar$ed to go to bed! Was going to try and go to bed early tonight, but I've just seen the time. Guess I'd better try to drag myself off upstairs...night night

Gilly It's lovely - I didn't get up til about an hour ago!! I have been knitting in front of the telly, I can't just sit and do nothing anymore! I haven't been doing too well on the drinking water thing - only been managing about 1 litre a day, but I read somewhere that all fluids count, so if I you can add 4 cups of tea to that total I might be on about 2 litres? I knitted a save the children hat last night in hot pink (the wool I bought for the soles of Millie's boots)
I think Clomid might have made my period a bit shorter I can't really remember exactly, sorry. I know it made my cycles shorter (27/28 days instead of 29-31)

hi everyone

hope you are all well we have got thrush again but im trying hard to carry on.

Just got told yesterday my mate got pg in first cycle seems so unfair sometimes, my 6 months felt like forever ....tis her third as well, she will have 3 under 4.

mistlethrush · 25/05/2008 20:17

I don't mind too much unless they have the affrontery to Complain that they have 3 under 4....

nomoremagnolia · 25/05/2008 21:30

Just tell her some of us would give our right arm (and more) to have one at all if she dares to complain.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 26/05/2008 17:05

oh i will. have already moaned at her for being so quick

seems so unfair sometimes. i often think of you all x

PiggyPenguin · 26/05/2008 18:53

Hey everyone, sorry to hear about the thrush Scorpio, but well done with keeping going.

I'm 37 weeks now and getting so uncomfortable. Jamie keeps burrowing into my pelvis and it is agonising. Like Nomore I am working on slobbing out and trying to rest. Mw tomorrow so we'll see if he has engaged any more.

Hugs to everyone - especially that gorgeous Millie...

scorpio1 · 26/05/2008 18:58

i thought you meant my jamie for a split second!!

PiggyPenguin · 27/05/2008 10:12

Scorpio, that really would be freaky! and even more painful. Hows the bfeeding going?

nomoremagnolia · 27/05/2008 11:26

Hi all
Hope you all had a good BH weekend? We had another scan on Mon morning and we're all set to go with egg collection on Thurs morning and hopefully have the embryos put back on Sun. It's really happening now!!

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 27/05/2008 11:54

Nomore xxxxxxxx !!!!!

Good BH thanks - went out on Sunday and Ds was not too bad. Sat and Mon we just went to the park with the dog and then did some gardeningy type things - Ds even managed to play on his own for a bit of the time. He's getting quite fast on his new bike (he broke his wooden balance bike so we have replaced it with one we can add pedals to at a later date...)

nomoremagnolia · 27/05/2008 14:11

sybil Hope you're not too uncomfortable - any news from the MW?
MT thanks How are you now? How's things with your DH?
scorpio that you've got thrush again, but well done for sticking with it
gilly how are you feeling on the clomid? any side-effects?
Meant to say earlier that the hospital think I might have up to 16 eggs - there are at least 16 follicles that are looking like they should have eggs in them and a few smaller ones too. No wonder I'm feeling bloated!

scorpio1 · 27/05/2008 14:11

scorpio1 · 27/05/2008 14:18

new pics

Tigerschick · 27/05/2008 15:36

Love the pics Scorpio - have emailed you BTW

PiggyPenguin · 27/05/2008 20:10

How can Millie be five weeks already! It seems like no time we were all on tenter hooks waiting for her birth announcement.

Nomore - wow, that is good going on the eggs, how many will they put back? A good friend of mine who had successful IVF 7 years ago is considering using her frozen embryos from that collection to have a second child. Its all very exciting, let us all know how you get on.

Glad to hear you had a good weekend MT, its been pouring here so we have been inside. It has meant that dh and I have had that much needed tidy up so that the birthing pool can fit into the kitchen though which is a good thing. Saw the mw today and she is pleased wit our progess. Baby is slightly more engaged (2/5), and has grown by 2 cm in past week so obviously having a growth spurt - gulp!

nomoremagnolia · 27/05/2008 20:30

sybil They will only put back a maximum of two, but the more we get that fertilise the more we can freeze for another go.
Good news from the m/w then - home water birth here we come! Am I right thinking you're due the middle of June?

OP posts:
PiggyPenguin · 28/05/2008 05:54

Yep, I'm due the 15th June, so about two and a half weeks to go. The fact that I'm going to have to go through labour and giving birth again is starting to become horribly real! I do really want to meet my little man though and hopefully everything will go well. (Sybil crosses fingers and toes...)
