I get the impression you work in the same kind of retailer as me 🤣 @Jadeypie laugh if it's the same company. Do what's right for you, I feel like I've just cracked on and I just draw the line at certain things, still dragging in pallets etc feel like if my bodys already used to it then it's fine and I was telling myself if I slow down too much my muscles will go weak and ill be a weakling in labour 🤣🤣

@Sez281 yeahhh I'm hopeful it will move, its just never been feet up so far 🤣 get the impression it's comfy as it is. I'm getting the full double whammy movements now with arms and legs going at the same time 😫

@Supertrooper101 from what I recall, there's been a few comments around the dosage of vitamin k being extremely high...possibly higher than adult recommended amount. I'm still on the fence haven't decided whether to go for the mouth dose x I think I bloat loads you know, when I get up I don't feel as big lol

Jadeypie · 13/08/2024 12:05

@Westy22 retail yes hahah dont think the same company. Ours is on a hill aswell so makes the loud even heavier! I'm just not even going there I can do all the other stuff like. And believe me when you are in labour you'll have strength you never even knew u had xx

Hankthehonk · 13/08/2024 14:14

Oh wow huge congratulations @Jadeypie so thrilled to see your news!! And hopefully yours too @Paws4thought I can definitely see a line on your test!

@Westy22 my boy was transverse breech right to the end, booked an elective section at 36 weeks and it was actually a really positive experience. There are useful threads around MN if your wee one does stay stuck but I was definitely in the minority, it's very likely yours will shift. What are the odds of two of us in this wee group having the stubborn breech babies?! 😋
Hope it's not too uncomfortable for you, his positive definitely made my pelvic pain a lot worse in pregnancy.

Westy22 · 13/08/2024 14:30

@Hankthehonk ah really, I'm totally fine with a section tbh would rather plan for it than emergency so we will see what happens over the next 8 weeks lol @Supertrooper101 is also in the same boat and a few weeks ahead of me lol hip wise no aches, fair bit of a back ache at night and surprisingly rib ache even tho it's not pushing into my ribs 😫 god help me if it does turn and get its feet up there.... Tbh my appetite is still good and that doesn't help my ribs at all with less stomach room 😂

Supertrooper101 · 13/08/2024 14:56

@Hankthehonk interesting you say that about pelvic pain, av had spd for months and didnt put it down to the transverse position. How comes they did the c.s at 36wks? Am even more paranoid now as this one was 95centile at 34 and no decision is being made till after 37wks. Feel thats a tad too bloody late now 🤯
@Westy22 that does sound bad about the vit k dose. Never even questioned it before but even says on the leaflet formula has it in anyway 🤷‍♀️...

Sez281 · 14/08/2024 09:48

@Paws4thought thinking of you this morning, hope you're not still in line limbo! X

Westy22 · 14/08/2024 10:59

Are you both prepared now for baby? @Supertrooper101 @Sez281 I still feel like I'm not lol I think because finishing the decorating has taken priority so nursery isn't sorted I've held back 🙈 also alot of things are coming from my sister so it feel like I'm not buying loads. Biggest ticket items left to get are cot and car seat. Then it's just lots of little things like bottles/bath etc

How are you today @Paws4thought xx

Jadeypie · 14/08/2024 11:16

Morning everyone 😊 I feel like all your pregnancies have flown! It seems like yesterday yous got your bfp and now we are getting last bits in haha.

I've just come off a night shift and I feel merhhh!! My sleep patterns gone to shit keep waking up. I told my manage , he's a tit tbh with the attuide of what am I going to do now if u crnt do this and that. I'm not even asking much, just saying I crnt be tipping heavy wagons down a hill that I can barely do. I'm not pregnant, never mind pregnant.

Thi king of you today @Paws4thought xx

Paws4thought · 14/08/2024 11:48

Thanks all, I did a cheapie boots test this morning and no line but they're not as sensitive as easy @ home so I'm still hopeful as my boobs are more sore than normal, AF due friday so will no for definite then :)
@Jadeypie that's such a bad attitude, he should be supporting not moaning.
I agree all your pregnancy have gone so quickly!

Sez281 · 14/08/2024 17:40

@Paws4thought if it's the strip ones they are harder to pick up as they are 25mul and the bigger boots ones are 10mul so hopefully it's still too early 🙏 xx

@Westy22 yeah I've been pretty much in nesting mode since 20 weeks, my OH is fit to kill me id say! 😂 We got new couch, fridge, tumble dryer and a bigger car, they were all needed in fairness 🤷‍♀️ Started washing all the baby clothes this week and spent €300 in boots & primark stocking up on PJs and stuff for hospital bag 🙈 I did get a lot of hand me downs like the next to me crib and bouncer/swing etc off my sister and all of my sisters are making me have a baby shower next weekend with some close friends too so they made me do a list for that.. feels so surreal to be at this point yet still weirdly feel like something is going to go wrong 😕

@Jadeypie tough s**t your boss will just have to cope, you're literally just saying no to the proper physical stuff! My sleep went to pot for the first couple of weeks after my positive, I think it's a combination of shock, anxiety and excitement x

OP posts:
Westy22 · 14/08/2024 19:00

Ah have you @Sez281 I can't wait to start nesting but don't think that will happen till the decorating is done and new carpet has been fitted. Ordered a highchair yesterday with a newborn attachment lol I tend to order random things 😂 but felt like this will come in handy when cooking/eating. I'm excited for the nursery to come together though 🥰 haven't even thought about hospital bag yet lol confirmed my mat leave stuff today and it suddenly made everything very real so totally get what your saying!! Xx

@Paws4thought still keeping everything crossed for you ❤️

Paws4thought · 14/08/2024 19:49

@Sez281 yeah it is the strips, I didn't realise they were so much less sensitive 🙈
Oh wow you sound really organised!
@Westy22 when do you think your decorating will be done? Everything all fresh will be great though so worth the wait to buy baby stuff :)

xxcxdonxx · 14/08/2024 22:45

Hey everyone, I’ve missed loads!

@Jadeypie huge congratulations, what amazing news to catch up on! Totally get your head being all over the place right now but just take each day as it comes 🥰

@Paws4thought oooh I’ll keep everything crossed for you over the next few days with tests.

Hope you guys are all doing ok, @Sez281 @Westy22 @Supertrooper101 @SnookyPook I’ll need to have a read through and catch up properly.

I’ve not been on much recently, life has been pretty hectic. We decided to put an offer in on a house which was accepted and then had a mad panic to get our house ready for going up for sale. That happened and it sold last week so now in the process of agreeing dates etc. My wee boy also had his first day at school today so that was an emotional rollercoaster and there’s been lots of getting organised for that. He had a great day, I’m so proud how he took it all on his stride. 🥰

Then to add to the mix I got my blood results back from my second sticky blood test which was positive. It just means that if we do try again then I’ve to be on aspirin when TTC and then aspirin and injections from a positive result. So I’ll see what happens. I honestly don’t know if I have it in me to try again, all the amazing news on this thread should be my inspiration but just difficult not to assume it will all go wrong again.

Paws4thought · 15/08/2024 00:33

@xxcxdonxx congratulations on the house purchase/ sale, hope it all goes through quickly, great distraction from ttc too! That's good that you've got a potential reason for why you've not been successful though, maybe once you've moved you'll feel more motivated to try again, hopefully good news will continue on this thread 🤞

Supertrooper101 · 15/08/2024 09:20

@Sez281 am trying to figure out what kind of pjs and stuff for your baby bag that cost 300€ 🤣... ive not had no nesting and still got a pram to get essentials, wash the stuff etc etc etc lol your not the only one thinking something will.go wrong. It never stops does it 🙁.
@Westy22 youve so much going on 🤯 gota be flying by for you lol
@Paws4thought did you get the other tests then 🙂
@xxcxdonxx congrats on the house 🙂 least with that positive result you have something to work with now too.

Paws4thought · 15/08/2024 13:29

@Supertrooper101 I tried not to buy anymore but caved and git the boots 5bdsy early and it was negative so I'll be expecting AF tomorrow.... annoying that the easy @ home had a line, wish I'd had a couple more of those to compare, I'll stock up for next month!

Jadeypie · 15/08/2024 14:33

@Paws4thought sorry it really did look like mine. Xx

I'm having a nightmare! I was having a productive day yesterday thought cancle that's hycosy ap and thought Al ring the epu just to let them no anyway they wanted me to have bloods which I didn't want to start so early because I'm only 15dpo today. Anyway got the bloods done and it's only 22 got to get more tomorrow see if it doubles so now I'm in full blown stress mode. Found yesterday so triggering like last time repeating its self only positive I can keep hold of is I've had no bleeding I am getting pains now and again but not in one area just randomly dotted about anyway all I done was cry yesterday and I'm dreading tomorrow xx

Paws4thought · 15/08/2024 16:53

@Jadeypie so sorry to hear that, it's so horrible feeling like it's repeating itself, as you said no bleeding tho so will be sending positive thoughts your way xx

Sez281 · 15/08/2024 17:17

@Paws4thought ugh I'm sorry to hear that. You're still not out until AF arrives...unfortunately I had a lot of really proper looking evaps on easy@homes, I still continued to buy them but would in my trust any lines I got when I'd confirmed with another test. Hopefully things will be clearer in a day or two 👌

@Jadeypie Aww I totally get it but try not to worry too much just yet. It's not about the first bloods reading (and 22 sounds about right for 15dpo) it's about what happens with your next ones. I totally get it when coupled with strange pains too but they could also be normal too Xx

@Sez281 yeah I've still got a little hope but trying to be realistic, It hasn't helped that I felt like I had some symptoms different to last few months too, think I was wanting it more this month as it's a year since my first pregnancy.

Sez281 · 15/08/2024 17:21

@Supertrooper101 it really does never go away! 🤯 Although I do think maybe you should start looking at prams! 😂

@xxcxdonxx wow you've been busy! Congratulations on the house that's amazing! Such exciting times ahead ☺️ That's really interesting about the bloods too (although I think it's just confirmed what you already knew) I totally get being a bit hesitant to start actively trying but maybe see what happens first 🤷‍♀️

@SnookyPook hope you're enjoying the new family bubble but also managing to get some rest xx

Oh I totally get it.. and if it was an evap it's just cruel 😢 wait and see what happens in the next day or so. I do really think it's going to happen for you soon no matter what though! X

Hi all, symptom spotting is at the worst this month but I wondered if anyone could help, I have started taking folic acid capsules on and off this month and have only had about 7 as I kept forgetting to take them and I was due on this week but I have just had lots of brown blood/discharge, cramps, lower back pain and no actual period. Would this be the folic acid causing this does anyone think?

Jadeypie · 15/08/2024 17:43

@Paws4thought this ttc journey just never gets easier and likes to be cruel with evap lines. I second with @Sez281 the next few days could tell a different story xx

@Sez281 oh I'm fully in my head because I've been on google but tomorrow will let me know how things r going. Xx

Hi @Happysoul111 I don't think folic acid would do that tbh @Supertrooper101 might have a better answer she's like the pharmacist with vitimins ect in this group haha 😄 xx
