1dpo - Anyone want to join during the two week wait?

Hi all, currently 1dpo. Hoping for a lucky month. I lost my twin boys a few months ago at 29 weeks due to TTTS. Two days before this I had a beautiful scan and two perfect babies - only 6 weeks away from c-section. And two days after my scan - our world fell apart. I had no movement and all of a sudden, I was told one of my babies had no heartbeat and then four days later, we had to remove life support from his twin brother as he was so ill. My sons were beautiful, visually perfect babies who were so unlucky. I miss them terribly.

So Here I am 1dpo and hoping for the best. Would love the support from any other hopeful ladies and in turn I'll support ye too. Much luck to us all 😀

Ncl31 · 26/03/2024 20:08

@2BabyOrNot2Baby where are you in your cycle now?
my OPK has gotten slightly darker today and I’ve had an episode of EWCM, so fingers crossed ovulation is just around the corner. DH had his rest yesterday so he best be ready tonight

@Ella31 im still waiting to ovulate. Cd12 today, last cycle I ovulated on CD16.
still got low OPKs but when I looked at last months I got a sudden spike from cd15 so hoping it’ll be the same this cycle.
according to Premom my fertile window starts tomorrow. I’ll let DH have a rest today.
hopefully you ovulate soon.

Got a very dark opk today @Ncl31. Hopefully you aren't too far behind. Cane out of nowhere

@Ncl31 @Ella31 CD12 now and started using the easy@home tests this time around - omg they're so much better, clearer lines and everything! Also thought we'd try SMEP this month, had a bit of a late start but getting there. Trying to be a little more positive 🤞🏻

They are so much better. No need fir squinting. I'm doing smep as well. Hoping to ovulate tomorrow or day after judging on my lines.

You hopefully won't be to long after that. Are you using the premom app for pictures of the test

Is this your first time trying smep? It's mine so still trying to get the hang of it!

I should be using it. I normally do use it for every opk I do, but it's completely slipped my mind a good few times this week so I've not managed to upload quite a lot so I need to get into a better habit again! At least I can actually SEE the difference in them now

First time properly. Although I do my own version. Every second day from end of AF. And then every day from 4 days untill ovulation.

I started accupuncture this week as well. I'm definitely less stressed this month so I'm really hoping for the best.

My son (2.5 years) said totally out of the blue. Mummy you have a baby in your tummy. Totally random! Can you imagine if he’s right haha 😆
AF due in 4 days, 9dpo

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 29/03/2024 23:48

@Ella31 fingers crossed for you!!

@Beanie14 I've heard of that happening to a few people! Here's to hoping your boy might be onto something 😉

Oh @Beanie14 wouldn't that be brilliant. I hope he's right. Have you resisted testing?

2dpo tomorrow for me. Would the days ever hurry up.

Hi all. All getting closer to testing now! I'm 7DPO today and have my 21 day progesterone blood test this afternoon. Looking forward to getting the results of that but will be a long wait because of the Bank Holiday but it's a step closer of knowing more info!

@Ella31 did the acupuncture hurt? Did you have it done on your face? My reflexologist does it on my tummy when she's doing my feet so never had it on my face before.

Beanie14 · 30/03/2024 09:39

I did a test yesterday at 9dpo knowing full well it would be negative. I’m gonna just wait for AF now cause it’s only 3 days to wait. Hoping it doesn’t arrive haha and my son is right.

The weeks are long but I’m trying not to obsess about it, just hoping it happens soon.
Do you find it weird when people ask you if you’ve started trying yet or something along the lines of this. I’ve had quite a few people ask now and I just find it awkward or hard to say it hasn’t happened yet…

@BabyBorn I'm excited for you, and ive no doubt everything will come back fine and in the unlikely event it doesn't, something can be done. Best of luck

No no pain at all. Tiny pinch but nothing I'd call painful. Yes she did and it was grand. I really enjoyed it, felt sleepy after and I've genuinely been less anxious this week. I've felt calmer so I'm going to keep going and see where this takes me.

You are so early so please god this it it.

I haven't as they know obviously about my babies but its is the blatant complaining about how hard it is having kids or uploading newborn pics onto our WhatsApp groups that's killing me. There's a friend of mine that's blogged her entire pregnancy on Instagram and today's caption was "most mothers baby doesn't do this .... most mothers baby doesn't do that, and the end was "but it's worth it"

I wanted to write "some mothers dont get to bring that baby home, " so cop on throwing it in their faces.

@Ella31 oh I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this. Some people are so oblivious or plain narcissistic and share far too much without realising how it affects others or just don’t care. xx

You are so right. I'm in a pickle today, husband is on about going out for a few drinks and a date night tonight and I'd love to have a glass of vino or two as I haven't really since the boys. But I'm in the tww. Could i have a sneaky two drinks? I feel so conflicted

Pretty sure I drank nearly a bottle of champagne before I conceived my boys too. Maybe I'm doing it all wrong 😅🤣

It was lovely. Ended up dancing a lot. Head is a little sore this morning and I was a bit worried about affecting implantation and all that. But why then are so many babies conceived after drunken night's ect.....

Can't be putting life in hold. Hope you enjoyed your evening too
