1dpo - Anyone want to join during the two week wait?

Hi all, currently 1dpo. Hoping for a lucky month. I lost my twin boys a few months ago at 29 weeks due to TTTS. Two days before this I had a beautiful scan and two perfect babies - only 6 weeks away from c-section. And two days after my scan - our world fell apart. I had no movement and all of a sudden, I was told one of my babies had no heartbeat and then four days later, we had to remove life support from his twin brother as he was so ill. My sons were beautiful, visually perfect babies who were so unlucky. I miss them terribly.

So Here I am 1dpo and hoping for the best. Would love the support from any other hopeful ladies and in turn I'll support ye too. Much luck to us all 😀

great news! Was that with an early or regular test?

narwhalsarereal · 04/02/2024 22:31

I'm not @Objectiontime but I did have a terrible issue with reflux for a few years after a stomach bug, but it hasn't bothered me like this in at least 7 years

Ooh hopefully then it is an early sign for you.

Hi everyone! Try and stay positive 💗
I tested at 9DPO and was gutted it was negative, held off testing until 12DPO and got my positive! You’re all still really early… hope we get some more positives 🤞🏼

Congratulations @Holl89 💕 How are you feeling? Xx

Beanie14 · 05/02/2024 22:05

Congrats @Holl89

Definitely stay positive for those who are early on DPO. I tested at 10DPO yesterday and BFN with lots of cramping too last night I thought AF must be here as felt very similar to period cramps. However got a positive result today on a clear blue early digital! Trying to stay confident after a miscarriage last month but fingers crossed. Sending love all your way!

Morning all, how we doing?

I'm currently 6DPO. Last night I had a very very mild headache and was quite irritable towards my partner. This morning the headache is still there, it's so mild that it's not really bothering me but can't help thinking it's a sign of something. Although literally could be anything 😂 apart from that, no symptoms.

Ncl31 · 06/02/2024 11:31

I’m 9DPO and yesterday I had awful lower backache with some slight cramps. Also hoping that’s a good sign but trying to not over think.
nothing else remarkably unusual, sensitive nipples but that’s not massively unusual. I don’t always get them for the full TWW though.

It's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it?

I actually had backache yesterday but think that's more my mattress than anything else.

Wish I was one of those people who just didn't have to actively try and realise period was late and take a test 😂 ah well.

Om0 · 06/02/2024 12:05

I’m 8DPO today had quite a lot of cramping yesterday and backache. I had cramping in my left side all night and again when I woke up today it’s like a pulling pain a bit uncomfortable. Haven’t had any spotting since 2DPO. I’m going to test on Saturday.

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 06/02/2024 12:08

I'm not really sure what to think - 7dpo today & I was quite sensitive to smells (food and people more than anything 😶) yesterday and was also pretty nauseous on/off. Had slight lower back pain and also couldn't sleep for the longest time due to feeling sick and mild cramping, but they feel heavier, like AF is about to visit.

According to Premom, I was supposed to start my period yesterday but I got my peak the week after it suggested so 🫠

Also had a bit of a runny nose through the night when I got up to go to the toilet but that could very easily just be common cold.

Hope you're all doing okay

Ella31 · 06/02/2024 13:03

9dpo. No period yet after the pink cm two days ago. Pretty sure I'm out as I've had on and off cramps. The pink discharge was definitely new for me though.

I'd say if your peak was later, so will Af be, but hopefully you won't get it all.

8dpo today.

Had a funny pulling feeling low down last night & some discomfort in my cervix.

Feel a little nauseous today but not so bad like I'll vomit, got a very mild headache too.

One thing I've noticed is my balance keeps going, but that is probably nothing.

Had a very restless sleep last night, woke up so many times in the night.

Is a runny nose a sign? I had a runny nose on 4dpo & 5dpo but it's stopped now

Beanie14 · 06/02/2024 13:42

@Ella31 The pink cm and cramps could have been implantation. You’re def not out yet until AF shows when is it due??

2BabyOrNot2Baby · 06/02/2024 13:46

@Ella31 thank you, I really hope this is your month. From what I've read, the cramping can be pretty normal! I've seem a few people saying they've had cramping very early on 🥰

@narwhalsarereal Apparently so! I have heard it before but I've gave it a quick search just to make sure I'm not being totally delusional and it has something to do with increasing hormone levels & blood production 😯

3pancakesplz · 06/02/2024 13:54

I tested this morning 10dpo and got a positive!! Tested again with 3 other tests from different brands and they’re all positive too, I’m so happy!

yesterday I tested and it was negative and was convinced I was out this month so don’t give up hope if you’re testing early.

Congrats @3pancakesplz 🥳

3pancakesplz · 06/02/2024 14:08

@2BabyOrNot2Baby thank you! I’m okay, yesterday I was gutted seeing the negative results so was convinced I’d been imagining or reading too much into my symptoms but obviously not. Keeping my fingers crossed for you :-)

This is the weird thing @Beanie14 , my first cycle came back last month but I got my period at 9dpo which is today but no sign of it yet. Which I'm happy about as 9 is too short. Premom seems to think it'll be here on the 16th. Which is too long.

Thanks @2BabyOrNot2BabyI had cramping with my twins but I got a very early positive at 8dpo. Madness

@Ella31 I'm sure you're likely to get an early positive if you're carrying multiples!

I looked back on when I'd tested with my son and it looks to be 13 days and that was negative! Tested a week later and got my positive.

With that being said, and I know how much easier it is said than done, please ladies, try not to be too disheartened if you're getting negatives with early testing. You're not out until AF comes to town 🩷

Could I just ask what tests everyone's using please?
I usually use cheapies until I get a glimmer of a positive but the ones I used last month I had looooads of indents!

Beanie14 · 06/02/2024 17:08

@3pancakesplz omg congratulations!!!!!
