9dpo cramps this morning!

Hello, around 9dpo today and trying very hard not to symptom spot and not to test! 😂
But I have noticed period like cramps down low this morning.
TTC baby #2

@ForestWren well they seemed to stop earlier and now I had had a few on and off twinges but in both shoulders.. so I think you’re right it’s just my mind over worrying and analysing everything! I’m feeling really worried and stressed so probably that.

what a worry that must be for you, are you going back tomorrow morning to get checked over again?

@ForestWren I have PCOS and have very irregular cycles. I don’t do OPKs and they’re very inaccurate with PCOS due to multiple rises in LH. So I’m going from my BBT, it has risen but maybe not as much as normal so I’m just not sure. I have the EWCM and backache at the time I thought I had ovulated and then a slow temp rise since then so maybe.

@Ncl31 I don’t know much about PCOS, irregular cycles must make everything more complicated and mysterious. Mine used to be irregular but have evened out a bit in my 30s. Those ovulation symptoms sound promising though, really crossing fingers for you! How are you feeling?

I’m probably 13dpo today. AF due between yesterday and Saturday depending on a few factors. I don't think I’ve actually had cramps for a couple of days, and my temps are still stable and highish. But this is my first month temping so I’m not sure. And I can’t remember when I usually cramp before AF so this might be normal.

Have just been looking at everyone else’s charts to compare, even though I know bbt charts are unlikely to predict much. Holding out on taking a test until I think I’m ready for the disappointment! Maybe tomorrow morning. Want to get through the work day first. I always think I’m braced for disappointment and don’t have my hopes up, then realise I’ve been subconsciously convinced this is the month. Trying to work on that!

@ForestWren ive felt bloated the last few days and have had some usual face spots in the lead up to AF, my bbt looks as though it’s dropping today, I think I had mild cramp over night too.

its frustrating isn’t it, I’m so impatient too!

Thank you both- I’ll update with the results! Took the same 2 tests this morning and they were both darker so I’m praying that’s a good sign! 🙏 pic added!

I was thinking maybe I ovulated later than thought.. i also have some cramps this morning.. 😞

no sign of AF or BFP for me.
i have been to the fertility centre this morning and have had my weight checked. They’re happy for me to proceed onto the ovulation induction drug trial. So that’s a bonus if AF does arrive.

Hello! Little update- today’s HCG is 165 so they were happy with that rise! Have another blood test on Sunday and if that rises and is fine, I can have a scan a week or so after that. Feeling slightly more positive but being cautious about it and not getting my hopes up too much 🤞

Bit the bullet and tested early this morning and got a bfp! My temps were higher this morning but I’m still very shocked 😬 took the cheap one first then the clearblue. I think I can be quite confident in them right? I know CBs have a reputation?

@MrsAnonymous24 thats good news, hopefully it will continue to rise for you and everything goes well.

essentially due to PCOS I do not ovulated regularly at all which is why I have weird cycles etc… so they’ll give me some drugs which will hopefully get me ovulating properly which will give me the best chance.

@ForestWren goodness that’s amazing!
the CB digitals are usually pretty accurate, it says 2-3 weeks too and I’ve seen people with 1-2 weeks so I’d say you just have a good HCG level. Congratulations

Excellent news about the trails! It’s great to feel like you can have some control over these things. Will you start that next cycle?

@ForestWren i honestly have no idea when it will start, I need baseline scans and bloods first.

However, I randomly done a test this evening…. Trying not to get my hopes built up though. Not really sure if I can see a line tbh.

Oh wow @Ncl31 there is def a faint line there! Very exciting! Aware none of us want to get our hopes up but this is a great sign isn’t it. You’ll have to try again tomorrow morning and let’s hope it’s even stronger!

I got a darker line on the easy@home test this morning so feeling good about things. Have told my twin (of course she said she already ‘knew’!) and think we’ll tell parents early doors on Xmas eve if all is well then.

@ForestWren when I saw your CB I thought oh twins, then saw you have a twin. 2-3 weeks this early is higgggh HCG, I wonder if you are having twins!

@MrsAnonymous24 I always had cramps with my pregnancies so try not to read too much into that even tho they're scary!

@ForestWren i think it was 3rd or 4th December. Just going off my symptoms.

going to do another test tomorrow to see how it looks, fingers crossed it progresses.

we will tell my parents on Christmas Eve too all being well

@janfebmarchapril yes I was thinking how nice it is that we have three positives, whatever happens next!

re. Twins - wow! That would be amazing, I think we’d both like twins and there are lots on both sides of the family (although only the mother’s side counts I believe?). I think the main reason I’m a twin is because my mum had us later in life. But we are non-identical so it can def be passed down.

However - Im not sure how high my levels are as those results at 14/15dpo which I don’t think is super unusual. But let’s see! Maybe I’ll take another cb tomorrow and see if we’ve nudged into 3+!
