Hello, around 9dpo today and trying very hard not to symptom spot and not to test! 😂
But I have noticed period like cramps down low this morning.
TTC baby #2

Hi @MrsAnonymous24 how are you getting on? Slightly behind you - I’m 9dpo today. Also trying not to symptom spot. Due af on 14th/15th so crossing fingers!

Hello @MrsAnonymous24! Testing tomorrow! haven’t tested yet!
Cramps were gone the next day and no symptoms as such.. just really hungry, craving salty things and I’m feeling very tired today!

Ooh that’s exciting! Crossing fingers for you! Have you had any of the same symptoms as with your first? I’m ttc #1 and in month 2. Would be nice to get a bfp so early but I’m not too hopeful. I’m having the odd cramp but I think that’s normal for me (it’s easy to forget what was normal before!) Also had some backache and of course Google says it’s a good sign but who knows. Going to hold off testing til af is due.

Sorry to jump on this. I believe I’m 9DPO today…. From symptoms and bbt increasing every day until today which has quickly plummeted- I often get this during the TWW though.
this evening I’ve had a few mild cramping/pulling sensations. Keeping my fingers crossed the temp drop is a one off and it’ll come back up tomorrow.

Hello! @ForestWren.. it’s hard to remember but I don’t think I had any symptoms until I started throwing up around 6 weeks with my first.. good luck maybe you will be lucky 😊

So tested this morning.. 14dpo and app says period due tomorrow. I didn’t test ovulation this month so I’m not definitely sure when I ovulated.
I got faint lines.. the first cheapie one I was sure was negative until about 2 and a half minutes where I thought I saw a faint line.. but my husband said he was a bit late with the timer so it could have been after the 3 minutes.. got darker since but you can’t trust them after the time so I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ I think it looks pink..
the clear blue one definitely came up with a faint line which I think looks blue within the time limit.. but I’m not sure if they’re evap lines, whether they have colour or I’m just making that bit up.
I thought for sure that they would be darker by now. I’m going to see what happens with AF and if not test on Thursday.
worried it’s a chemical with the lines being faint 😞

@MrsAnonymous24 that cheapie certainly looks positive to me. I’m just not sure about Clearblue though because you hear so many bad things.
my BBT did come back up slightly this morning but not quite as high as the day before the drop so who knows. I’ve now convinced myself that my body is prepping for AF.

@Ncl31 thank you. Yeah have heard bad things about clear blue too.
Just not sure what to think, I can’t help but think AF will arrive!

@MrsAnonymous24 I think it looks pretty positive - I saw the line immediately, and feel very excited for you! I totally understand that fear of getting your hopes up though. Its meant to double every day or two isn’t it? So you should know either way very soon. Keep us updated please!

@Ncl31 great that your bbt is up again! There are so many factors to take into account aren’t there. When do you think af is due? My bbt has had a pretty steady increase post O so far (10dpo today) but I’ve realised I’ve been going to bed with a hot water bottle last couple of nights and its still been warm in the morning… maybe that could affect it! Think I’m getting the odd crampy twinge now and no other symptoms so the jury is out. Trying not to get hopes up either way. How long have you been trying can I ask?

@ForestWren i think I’m about 10DPO today too, AF should be due sat/sunday.

Thank you @ForestWren that makes me feel better 😊 I think it’s just because they’re fainter than what I expected them to be.. maybe I ovulated late.. will test tomorrow and Thursday and keep you updated 😊

Well done you guys for bbt testing.. I did that with my Son but could never get to grips with it.. so haven’t yet this time!

@Ncl31 interesting! That dip looks quite dramatic doesn’t it - but all your temps post o are close-ish together, so maybe it’s not that unusual? Or maybe it was an outlier and you’ll keep going up from here.

I’ll attach mine, although looking at in comparison to yours my rise isn’t so obvious now! It’s cut off today’s temp for some reason, which was just a touch higher than yesterday. I only started temping on cd5. I’m always looking for answers!

@MrsAnonymous24 it must be so hard not to go out and buy all Boots’ tests right now!

But whatever the outcome this month it’ll happen when it’s meant to ❤️

@ForestWren Absolutely! My husband had to talk me out of testing this evening and then going out to buy more tests! He said he’ll even get me some tomorrow after work 😂 I did some Christmas wrapping to distract myself this evening! Firm believer in things happen when they’re meant or for a reason ❤️

Both your charts look good.. I agree with @ForestWren though @Ncl31 the drop does look quite dramatic but perhaps they’ll rise from there? Fingers crossed for you 🤞

@ForestWren @MrsAnonymous24 I’ve seen bfp and bfn charts show a dramatic drop so I’m not sure it actually means anything to be honest. Probably just sobering to do with a hormone shift which happens regardless

@Ncl31 yes totally agree - I think the temp charts are only really valuable when it comes to showing you’ve probably ovulated. Everything else is mainly us trying to have a sense of control over all this! Crossing fingers for all of us :)

Hi all. Had a few light cramps this morning so I was sure I was out early, but at hasn’t arrived yet. My hopes aren’t too high though! No promising symptoms. Hope you’re doing ok @MrsAnonymous24 and @Ncl31

@ForestWren no signs of either for me. But like I say I’m not even sure if I’ve ovulated so I have no idea if I’m actually due.
i have however had a massive spot come up on my face which is normal for around AF

Uch how annoying @Ncl31 - so unfair! I didn’t realise you weren’t sure if you’d ovulated. Is that because of the bbt chart or O tests?

Are you trying for your first? I’m finding the lack of control of all this quite tough. It makes me realise that I’m not as laid back as I’d hoped! All this testing and charting helps (maybe?) but I’ve also found myself worrying about my partner. I have no real control over the quality of his sperm ha!

Bit of an update, I still tested faint positive yesterday, the cheapie one was fainter than the day before, but the clear blue was darker.
I also panicked and rang the GP as I have a bit of a mild pain in my right side. No bleeding as of yet. Saw the GP and she said it was a bit tender right side down low by my hip, did feel a bit tender when she pressed on it. She didn’t test my urine. So she sent me to the early pregnancy unit and i saw a doctor, again pressed on the tender bit again. The pregnancy test there was negative 😞 But they took bloods and my HCG was 38, above 25 is pregnant but it’s on the low side of normal. So I have to go back tomorrow for another blood test to see if it’s risen properly. Might need a scan to see if baby is in the right place- they are a little concerned that it could be ectopic due my achey side pain but the doctor said it’s too early to tell yet. They wouldn’t be able to see anything on a scan yet!
So not sure how I feel 😞 worried I think! Just a waiting game.

I’m so sorry @MrsAnonymous24 how scary! How long might you have to wait?? I guess that a positive test is just the start of a whole new journey of uncertainty really… horrible.

I really hope it’s not too painful and that you get answers tomorrow. ❤️

Thank you @ForestWren. Well I’m not sure there is anything they can do until tomorrow when I have the blood test and the results come back..probably would have a scan at 5-6 weeks. Depends on what these bloods come back as.

I’m starting to freak out as my collarbone/shoulder is starting to hurt.. but the doctor said it would be too early for that as it’s one of the last things that can happen and I probably would be bleeding and in a lot more pain. I don’t know though, could be ectopic still! 😞

Have the shoulder pains continued @MrsAnonymous24 ? Likely to be your mind being a bit imaginative if the doc says it’s too early. Really feel for you. This isn’t how it’s supposed to be!
