@curliegirlie oooh I see all of those can you get anymore of the boots tests 🤞🏼🤞🏼

bringmearainbow · 11/11/2023 21:46

@curliegirlie I take it AF also hasn't shown up?

curliegirlie · 12/11/2023 09:37

I still absolutely feel slap bang in the middle of Limbo Land and I suspect it will go the way of @ExMrsGrealish - there are definitely very faint lines still, but not dark enough for 12/13dpo. I was due on either yesterday or today (my LP seems to slightly vary between 11 and 12 days). I suspect AF will still arrive, albeit a bit late....

@curliegirlie I can easily see all of those 🤞🏼 I'm keeping everything crossed for you I really don't think the strips get going at showing a good line until later

OP posts:
ExMrsGrealish · 12/11/2023 10:11

@curliegirlie hopefully not 😞 how are you feeling? I hate one steps

curliegirlie · 12/11/2023 10:51

I'm not feeling too bad actually. It's the due date of my pregnancy from my MC last year today, so there's a comforting sense of circularity, whatever the outcome turns out like.

I honestly can't remember how quickly my One Steps darkened with DD1. I remember it was an absolute squinter at 11dpo, equal to the control line at 19dpo, but not totally sure about the days inbetween. I have it my head it was looking a lot more promising than this at 13dpo 🤷‍♀️

ExMrsGrealish · 12/11/2023 11:33

@curliegirlie well everything crossed missus. If you've given yourself a deadline it'll be annoying coz it may drag on with the faint lines. I hope it doesn't 🙏 That's why my deadlines always increase, but you've nearly missed a period now so 🤞🏼it sticks xx

I had crazy ovulation symptoms this week but I stopped testing after hitting 1.34 on CD12. It's odd how ovulation can make you not wanna DTD 😂 not that I had a choice coz DH was away.

curliegirlie · 13/11/2023 09:05

Sad to report it was indeed a bad dose of line eye or a CP as yesterday evening's tests were back to BFNs and I've started bleeding this morning (14dpo). Funnily enough the last time I had a 13 day LP was last November, so it's clearly the month for particularly torturous TWWs. Feel a bit numb now, especially as I have no idea whether it was a CP, a batch of bad indents or me just imagining things on the day I should have been celebrating a first birthday. Yes, One Steps are rubbish in a way, but at least you know if they show clear progression (which mine didn't) you're probably onto a winner....

TheBirdintheCave · 13/11/2023 09:14

@curliegirlie Augh I'm sorry :( I'd be leaning towards thinking it's a chemical. We can't all have had lines eyes ❤

LuckyMoonstone · 13/11/2023 09:21

@curliegirlie oh I’m sorry chick 😕 agree that it could have been a CP, we could see it too not just you, hope you’re ok x

curliegirlie · 13/11/2023 09:41

I name this exhibit "Horrible Fuckers, Indents and the Perils of Testing Early". I can't see a single second line on them now of course, but even yesterday evening I was looking at the earlier ones thinking they looked too thin to be proper BFPs and more likely just dye catching on the indent 🙄

bringmearainbow · 13/11/2023 13:36

@curliegirlie ahhh lovely I'm so sorry. I would def be thinking chemical the lines were there big hugs xx

OP posts:
curliegirlie · 13/11/2023 16:26

OK, I'm now veering back towards chemical, as I retested this afternoon (AF still in full flow, now I'm not expecting any kind of positive resolution) and this is what I got. Cue feeling awful because my Levothyroxine ran out last week, so I hadn't taken it for a few days. Fervently hoping that's not what caused it not to stick. Excuse all this self indulgence, I know you ladies have gone through so much worse, but it's particularly raw when I've only got two cycles left before I'm waving goodbye to all this. I just can't see it happening.....

curliegirlie · 13/11/2023 16:27

Oops, this is is today's pic....

TheBirdintheCave · 13/11/2023 17:34

@curliegirlie Definitely no mistaking those! I'd keep taking the tests just in case you have a situation like @LuckyMoonstone did.

curliegirlie · 13/11/2023 17:46

@LuckyMoonstone I really can't remember, did yours ever get particularly strong? I suspect this is as dark as mine are going to get, particularly as that OPK isn't especially dark either? But not a bad idea to keep monitoring, despite the heart ache...

I just can't believe that it's been 22 cycles or something, and the first time in that time I get anything approaching a BFP it turns into a sodding CP. The day after my due date, ironically, and it also would have been due 5 days before my birthday. I knew the signs were on the wall with the faintness, lack of progression and lightish LH test though, and I actually had some blood when I wiped at 9 or 10 dpo, so wasn't expecting those BFPs at all. Doesn't make it less gutting though...

bringmearainbow · 13/11/2023 17:52

@curliegirlie you can indulge in us all you want lovely you're there for all of us ❤️ there's def no mistaking those lines they are so much darker than yesterday! Does it seem like proper AF or could be a IB?

OP posts:
LuckyMoonstone · 13/11/2023 18:00

@curliegirlie yeah my tests got really strong as you would expect even with the bleeding, which is what made me think this isn’t a normal MC, which as it turns out it wasn’t! You latest test is definitely stronger.
Thyroxine builds up in your system so please don’t think that missing a few would cause a MC ❤️

curliegirlie · 13/11/2023 18:14

The green one is an OPK, by the way, and whilst negative, a fair bit stronger than the HCG tests.

With my early MC last year I think I may have been slightly in front of where I am now, but I remember the tests did continue getting darker for a day or two before beginning to fade. I hope these ones don't take 3 weeks to disappear!!

ExMrsGrealish · 13/11/2023 22:55

@curliegirlie ahh it's a head melt isn't it? My IC of choice was easy@home. Purely because they are wider and my eyesight is shit. Line does look darker 🙏 but sometimes when I bled that happened to me. Hope you're ok and you just never know xxx

bringmearainbow · 14/11/2023 13:18

@curliegirlie how are you doing today lovely?

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 14/11/2023 14:29

@bringmearainbow How are you feeling about the upcoming scan?

bringmearainbow · 14/11/2023 14:52

@TheBirdintheCave I don't know what to feel I want to be hopeful but im equally expecting nothing good. Feel likes it's going to be a miracle day when they tell me there's a HB. Might need you to consult those cards again 🤣 i have symptoms although who knows what the meds are affecting or not. My temp and rhr are still up last time my rhr dropped back down around the ges the baby got to which might be nothing but you know can't help notice all the stuff 😅

How you been? feeling flutters? Did you go for a scan?

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 14/11/2023 15:04

@bringmearainbow I so hope this is your one. What time is the scan? Happy to do the cards again for you whenever you want :)

It's encouraging that you still have symptoms and your temp and rhr are still up! 😬

I'm ok. 14+1 now. Next scan is on the 22nd of Dec so aggggges to go yet. I don't think we can afford to book a 16 week one 😭

Baby has been good and wriggly which has helped. Nausea is still hanging about although it's a lot better than a few weeks ago. Everything is still very surreal and I still have no faith it will last 😅

bringmearainbow · 14/11/2023 15:16

@TheBirdintheCave it's at 5.10 so I can get there out of work time literally the latest you can do 🙊 well if you're in the mood and fancy picking the cards up then that would be lovely I won't say no ❤️ yes it is. I noticed last time my symptoms really came and went so it's positive they are there I just never know what the steroids are masking or what the progesterone is giving me rather than symptoms. I really hate being so pessimistic about it feel like a right moaner 🙈

Could you look on groupon or wowcher I think window to the womb do vouchers on there occasionally 🤔 it's such a long wait between 12 and 20 isn't it 😭 I'm glad you're still having symptoms though hopefully you're going into that golden 2nd tri symptoms soon though🤞🏼 I totally understand it's really hard to be positive after all the previous ❤️
