@bringmearainbow what's up lovely? Has anything triggered it? ❤️

bringmearainbow · 19/11/2023 21:14

@ExMrsGrealish not really probs just a bad day 🤦🏼‍♀️ I've been exhausted last couple of days and thought my nausea had disappeared today but it came back this evening had to have a snack pronto 😂 hopefully tomorrow I wake up feeling better. I thought about booking another scan but not sure if that will help or not 😅

@bringmearainbow exhausted is good! I always knew mine had ended coz I woke up full of energy.

It's so hard to decide after what happened at that dreadful clinic. I'd never go back to that one. If the hospital advised a sooner scan (I know you can't because of work) I'd maybe think about it. Otherwise I'd wait. What does DH think? You got this ❤️

bringmearainbow · 19/11/2023 22:00

@ExMrsGrealish I doubt I'll go for one it would just be a waste of money really if I could have them everyday then it would be fine 😂 I haven't mentioned it to him as it's been a busy day and he's still working but he would tell me to go for one if I wanted he's just easy. There is no reason to go for one other than my own silly brain getting itself in a pickle 🙄 love those hormones

lol I'm never going to that clinic again luckily there are quite a few options around here. Very true exhausted is good I never think of it like that 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have my booking appointment on Thursday so I'll just try focus on that and all the things I have to tell them 😂

@bringmearainbow haha it's like okayyy are you ready for this?! I always feel really sorry for HCPs dealing with me 😂 they look hugely confused and have to check with the consultants 😂😂 thankfully all is well atm 😘

Yea men just see an easy answer when it's just all a head melt.

bringmearainbow · 20/11/2023 12:59

@ExMrsGrealish I'm glad all is well atm 😘 lol I'm a bit worried that it's going to take forever 😂 think I'm the first appointment at 8 so I'm going to get there early to start filling the book in. Yep he loves an easy answer 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 anything for a quiet life.

Woke up this morning with horrendous nausea and thirst feels so wrong to be happy about this 😂

TheBirdintheCave · 20/11/2023 13:08

@bringmearainbow Hoorah for feeling sick! 😂 Long may it continue 😂 I'm sorry you've been feeling anxious. Pregnancy after loss is just the worst for panicking and over analysing. One day at a time! You can do this :)

bringmearainbow · 20/11/2023 18:37

@TheBirdintheCave thanks lovely it's a head fook isn't it! How you feeling now?

OP posts:
bringmearainbow · 23/11/2023 10:10

Booking appointment is done. I'll be consultant led and they want me to see consultant at 12 weeks once I've had dating scan

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 23/11/2023 10:46

@bringmearainbow Eeeeek that's so exciting! Not long until your next scan now as well :D How many weeks are you now?

I'm ok. Nausea was quite bad again last night randomly but not too bad this morning. Seems like it's up and down now. Other than that, just trucking along with the occasional panic if I don't feel the baby move for a while. Next appointment isn't until the 30th which is when I meet the consultant.

Haven't forgotten yours cards btw. What I did forget was that my colleague is on holiday this week so I'm way busier than usual 😅

bringmearainbow · 23/11/2023 10:57

@TheBirdintheCave yep just one more week to wait 🤞🏼 I'm 7+4 today and still feeling super sick a lot more than any pregnancy I've had so I'm trying to stay with that positivity though my rhr dropped yesterday and it's lower again today. I know I shouldn't torture myself with these things because it's prob nothing and I'm sure it's normal but wouldn't be me if I didn't analyse something 🤦🏼‍♀️ ahhh no worries lovely there's no rush 😘

lol that is random hopefully it's stopping properly for you soon nausea is the worst how many weeks are you now? That's good not too long to wait and helpful your busy makes it go quicker 😂

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 23/11/2023 11:03

@bringmearainbow Gosh that seems to have gone so quickly! I'd ignore the RHR thing and concentrate on the fact that you still feel sick which is really encouraging. Long may it continue 😂

I'm 15+3 today. I found weeks 9-12 weirdly went quite quickly but so far 12 onwards has just dragged so much. The 20 week scan is on the 22nd of Dec though I still have no idea who will be available to take G so that husband can come into the room as well.

bringmearainbow · 23/11/2023 19:01

@TheBirdintheCave 😂 yes long may it 🤞🏼 I've been busy which helps pass the time 🙊 I think your at that weird inbetween point where not a lot happens with the doctors and scans etc. oh no can't you take him in?

OP posts:
bringmearainbow · 28/11/2023 15:34

Just had my latest thyroid labs back and they are looking good 💪🏼 well within ranges they should be now

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 28/11/2023 16:11

@bringmearainbow That's brilliant :D I'm glad it's all under control! Not too long until your scan now! :D

And no, kids aren't allowed in the scan room. I think we're going to have to hire a babysitter 😫

bringmearainbow · 28/11/2023 16:20

@TheBirdintheCave me too feels like it was a long time happening 🙄 I know the week is bound to go super slowly though 😂 I still feel absolutely rotten. Ahhh that's so annoying I thought if they were your own you could take them in. Do you know any baby sitters? I wouldn't even know where to start trying to find one 🙈

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 28/11/2023 23:27

@bringmearainbow There's a FB group of childminders, nurseries and babysitters in my local area so I think I'll have to post on there. It's only for a couple of hours if that so fingers crossed it will be ok 🙏🏻

TheBirdintheCave · 30/11/2023 22:31

@bringmearainbow Everything cross for tomorrow! How long do you have to wait?

bringmearainbow · 01/12/2023 05:44

@TheBirdintheCave thanks lovely scan is at 8.20 so not long to wait. I've had a terrible nights sleep 🙄

I have a little blob with a heartbeat still 🥰 she confirmed HB really quickly and got another scan in 2 weeks

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 01/12/2023 11:51

EEEEEE!! @bringmearainbow This is amazing! Is everything still measuring on target?

bringmearainbow · 01/12/2023 12:01

@TheBirdintheCave she didn't tell me any measurements but she said all looks good. She wasn't concerned. She saw it abdominally which can make my measurements a bit off as my uterus tilts back so it wouldn't have been able to compare quite the same as my internal anyway

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 01/12/2023 12:05

@bringmearainbow Oh odd that they didn't do an internal this time. My womb is the same as yours and even my 12 week scan was internal.

This is so exciting! How many weeks now? :D

bringmearainbow · 01/12/2023 12:27

@TheBirdintheCave she would have done if she couldn't see it clearly enough. Tbh I think she was more focused on the HB being there than anything else. Oh Blimy maybe yours is further over than mine is as mines always been fine abdominally by 12 weeks. I'm 8+5 today. It feels really surreal I want to get excited and I'm getting better at being more hopeful but I still have that little blip of apprehension. Did you manage to find a babysitter? Xx

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 01/12/2023 12:42

@bringmearainbow I haven't even started looking yet 😅Everything here is utterly manic. So many appointments and friend gatherings in December x__X I really need to get on that!

When is your 12 week scan booked for? :)
