Anyone TTC from Jan 2024?

Any other lurkers out there patiently (or impatiently!) waiting to TTC in the new year?

Anything in particular you're doing to prepare?

I also use easy@home, with the Premom app, just like @onetwoandthree. And record the same OPK in the Femometer app. I have been using Clue to register my periods since forever but it only allows to record “positive OPK” or “negative OPK”, rather than register values and monitor the trend.

Regarding supplements, I knew during the actual prep and TTC I only wanted to take what the doctor prescribed, so in 2022 I took CoQ10 (ubiquinol, not ubiquinon) and followed with 800mg of Folic Acid, because I read somewhere that the eggs start developing around 6-9 months before they are THE egg released. But we ended up setting the wedding (and thus the TTC plans) for later in 2023 😅

My husband is only taking Maca root and had him joining when I was having ubiquinol.

Me! DC1 is 14 months and AF has just come back after stopping BF. I am on cycle day 7. Good luck everyone!

@skyerojo I've read a few things where folate is absorbed easier and is the natural form, however it is a bit more expensive than folic acid and my levels are ok from recent blood checks so I'm on the fence! I just love a supplement 😂

Sorry to jump on, I'm 10dpo and took a test this morning. We are on cycle 4 and I've never even seen a hint of a line, but I think I can see a vvv faint one today. What do you guys think?

@willow89 yes I can see a vvv faint line but 10dpo is still very early! Test again in a couple of days and see what that looks like? Hopefully it'll be good news!!

Hello all! Planning on starting to try for baby number 2 this January. I’m due to ovulate around 2nd jan.
baby (or not so!) number 1 will be 4 in April. Can’t believe how fast time goes we never planned to wait this long but here we are! Accidentally fell pregnant with them and then had another accidental pregnancy in June 2023 after taking all precautions which ended in abortion due to circumstances.
i hope I fall as easy this time again although I’m cautious after having the abortion that it may not happen so easy.
ive started taking some folic acid. I have to be honest I wish I could skip pregnancy and the first year as I found it really really tough. But needs must! :)

Looks like I'll be ovulating the middle of Jan, depending when my period comes (I've only had 1 since coming off the implant). I know my husband would rather wait till a little later on in the year, so we'll see how it goes!

My AF just arrived, I was expecting it to arrive in mid-Jan but with PCOS my cycle is unpredictable... but getting shorter!

Starting trying to conceive baby no. 2 as of Jan 1st. Pretty sure I’m ovulating today based on EWCM and got a smiley face on clear blue digital opk.

DTD 4 days ago, yesterday and hopefully again tonight.

First was a surprise baby so new to actually ‘trying’. She will be 5 in April! We have been waiting for her to get easier before having another but we have realised she is just a wild child at heart so we need to get a move on haha.

Wishing lots and lots of luck to us all, can’t wait to see the BFP’s flowing

I should be on CD1 in a couple of days, but I'm not really sure the length of my cycles since the implant so it could be later on!

This is our first time ‘trying’ too. I don’t want to get sucked into the pressure of ovulation tests and everything yet. I’m due to ovulate about the 5th going by my app. I’d say I’m getting close by my EWCM. I’ve got to say I’m not enjoying actually trying for a baby. I’m finding sex to be very functional rather than enjoyable I’m struggling to get out the mind set for it being for a purpose! Is anyone aware of any Facebook groups for us to join? I’ve joined a couple but they seem to all be Americans talking about their blood work!

Started TTC last month but it didn't work out unfortunately so onto our second cycle TTC 😊 only on cycle day 1 today after AF was a few days late (typical... she's never late and then decides to be late the first time TTC). Looking forward to chatting with everyone and hopefully seeing lots of BFPs 🥰
