My bbt has popped up again a but today. But not as high as it was before it took a massive drop. Just going to need to wait and see what happens

CurlyWurly1991 · 14/10/2023 08:08

@MixedCouple I saw my GP and she said it was likely just a matter of time and was reassuring. Ordered day 3 and day 21 tests that included PCOS related tests as I have irregular periods, lh,fsh, estradiol, and then progesterone will be on day 21 (or 7 days after ovulation).

RoseH36 · 14/10/2023 08:26

I want to wish you all the luck in the world on your journeys but I think I'm done. I have a beautiful son and I'm so grateful for him but think it's time to call it a day and accept he'll be an only child. Due to low sex drive we've only been trying once a month so think it's safe to say there's pretty much zero hope (even though we only dtd once and conceived our son). I'm fed up of putting myself through all the testing and disappointment every month. It's going to take a while for me to come to terms with this decision but feel like it's one I have to make as it's not fair to keep putting this pressure on my DH every month.

Thank you to each and every one of you for your support during my CP, it meant so much ❤️

SnookyPook · 14/10/2023 08:46

@RoseH36 sending you an enormous hug and hope you're ok and that you manage to find peace and happiness in your decision. ❤️

Cressie2 · 14/10/2023 10:15

I don’t temperature chart @Supertrooper101 so not the best person to ask but from reading all about it, it looks very encouraging!

@MrsBP15 That’s really rubbish. I’m so sorry to hear that. Go and get yourself a delicious bottle of wine and enjoy it with a a movie. I’m going to party so hard tonight before trying again next week. Seems rude not to…

CurlyWurly1991 · 14/10/2023 10:51

@RoseH36 so sorry to hear that. It is so draining and I completely understand you wanting to step away. Will you continue not trying not preventing? I don’t know what we will decide once we hit our personal cut off - 1 year which is my 38th birthday. Don’t think I will go back on contraception though so there is always a chance there. Totally get what you are saying about the pressure. We do a mix of home insemination with usual dtd for this reason, not sure if you considered this along the way (there’s a thread on it atm) anyway best of luck for your next steps and here’s to be grateful for what we have x

MrsBP15 · 14/10/2023 11:06

Thanks @Cressie2 off to my godsons christening so will be putting away quite a lot of champers!!🥂

wishing you and your family all the very best @RoseH36 and hope that in time you can be at peace with your decision. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t a heartbreaking decision but now you can channel all that live and energy into your beautiful son and I have no doubt that isn’t something you would regret ♥️

MrsBP15 · 14/10/2023 11:07

*love

Angelsrose · 14/10/2023 11:09

Sending love and support @RoseH36 ❤️

MrsBP15 · 14/10/2023 12:28

Ok major mayday moment for me. On the train, family gets on with tiny, very new baby and I promptly start crying?!? (Silently to myself but still) This is not good! I need to improve my resilience, it’s only been six months 😭 sorry I just can’t message my husband as he’ll worry and I don’t much fancy texting any friends. I just know that you guys will understand the most ♥️

FigandHoney · 14/10/2023 12:36

Oh I am so sorry @MrsBP15 . I don't have any good advice but I can totally relate. I got to that stage when we were trying for our first and then got very bitter.
All I can say is that it took us a while but it did happen.
And I have a friend who has had several miscarriage trying for her second. Again it took them a while. But they just gave birth to their baby daughter.
So there is hope.

@RoseH36 I am so sorry you have had to reach that decision. TTC can be so difficult for mental health. And you need to do what is best for you.
Part of me didn't even want to start trying for a second because I remembered how difficult I found it with our first.
Do you think you will continue unprotected? Or do you think even that might be too hard mentally?

So I now have a migraine. I always get these when AF is on her way. But I also had 3 days of migraine just before I got my BFP last time. So not a clear sign either way.
I keep checking for spotting. Hate panty watch stage.
Also having chills. So I might be getting sick. However this again was one of my very first symptoms with my son. Then again temperatures have massively dropped outside

Cressie2 · 14/10/2023 12:43

@RoseH36 I’ve just seen your post above (sorry must have missed it before) and so sorry to hear that. TTC is incredibly draining and emotional and who knows, maybe now that you’ve made that decision and the pressure is off you still may conceive. I hope you can breathe now you’ve made that decision and can have more time and headspace for yourself and your family. Sending you a huge hug anyway and hope you’re ok.

@MrsBP15 I hear you. I cried at work last week when people were talking about how lovely it was to have their kids so close in age. It will hit you at the most random times and we are all here for you ❤️

@FigandHoney symptoms sound hopeful

MrsBP15 · 14/10/2023 15:17

Thank you @Cressie2 and @FigandHoney its so nice to know that people on here are there for me, I appreciate it so much. I’m only six months in so need to try and stay strong as there may be a long road ahead but it’s good to know it’s normal to have the odd random outburst x

Supertrooper101 · 14/10/2023 16:17

@Eirlys1986 even though every google site says the luteal phase is the same each mth, mine isnt, can be between 11 and 14 🤷‍♀️.. in that iswte book....does it say to take dhea and melatonin together? I will buy it at some point lol @CurlyWurly1991 what did your dr class as irregular cycles? Myne range from 26 to 29, the odd 30 now and then...
Well my chart was getting higher & higher then boom, a massive drop today 9dpo lol so thats me out lol

CurlyWurly1991 · 14/10/2023 16:57

@Supertrooper101 my GP couldn’t be less interested. I think if your cycles are within 7 days of eachother then you’re alright. Mine have been mental over the last few years - 14 days, 50 days, then 28 days for several cycles before going haywire again. Probably due to impending perimenopause…

CurlyWurly1991 · 14/10/2023 17:09

Meant to say within 7 days of eachother they are considered regular… irregular cycles in and of themselves not necessarily an issue just harder to pinpoint ovulation

Pineappleapple · 14/10/2023 17:10

@RoseH36 that's really understandable. Do something fun with your little one to celebrate him, maybe to focus on the positive. Take care

FigandHoney · 14/10/2023 19:25

Argh ladies, I have had a tiny bit of spotting. Which is always a precursor to AF.
Although I didn't have any implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy (at least not at this stage), I am still clutching on to hope (or more like straws). But think I am just kidding myself and AF will be here right on time tomorrow

happytobemrsg · 14/10/2023 20:34

10DPO here. Really bad cramps yesterday for a few hours then they eased off. Then again for 30 minutes today. Usually spot days 22/23 onwards & today is day 23, not spotting yet. AF is due Wednesday or Thursday (26/27 day cycles). After my BFN at 9DPO (wasn’t even my FMU or after a hold so I don’t know what I was thinking) I’m determined not to test & will just see if AF makes an appearance.

Catson · 14/10/2023 21:25

@FigandHoney you're not out until AF shows 🤞🏻
It all sounds promising @happytobemrsg

FigandHoney · 14/10/2023 21:46

@happytobemrsg Soynds really promising. With my last pregnancy the fact I wasn't spotting was a really good indicator. So I hope AF never arrives and you get your BFP

happytobemrsg · 14/10/2023 21:59

Thanks @Catson @FigandHoney it’s good to know I’m not going crazy here! I’ve had to go to bed as I suddenly felt really sick. Feel less sick now but got AF like cramps (not in my belly, lower). I feel so off. Had a lovely day out with DH celebrating our anniversary today so I’m glad I felt fine during the day ❤️
