Couldn’t find a thread so thought to create one and see who else will join the community!

Preparing to start TTC early October based on my cycle.

TTC: baby no.2
Age : 29
average cycle is 28 days for me 😊

Well AF arrived today 💔 I really thought this month would be the month so it's a tough day today.

I hope there are lots of BFPs coming on this thread and for those of you that are out this month, I'm so sorry and I hope you get your BFPs soon! I'll probably start posting on the November TTC thread soon so I'm sure I'll see some familiar names in there!

just joining on, I forgot these forums existed from when I was trying for my first, 8 years ago.
so I have 1 DD, she is 5, it took 2 and a half years of TTC before it happened naturally, any longer and I was going to seek help.
since then I have still not been on contraception, and not ttc but not avoiding it either and had not even an incling of an ‘accident’ so I don’t hold much hope of trying this time round.
this is month 3 of tracking my ovulation and doing the tango like rabbits (within reason)
today I am 7dpo and due AF in 8 days 🙏

Fairy sure I'm out already. 7/8 dpo and already feeling like AF is about to make an appearance. AF came at 9dpo last month which was just cruel. Month before that it was 12/13 dpo but I'd had weird very very faint lines around this time so I don't know if it was a very early chemical or something strange happened with implantation and that's why AF started late.

I'm only 3 cycles in and already feeling depressed by it all.

That’s odd, seems like your cycle is a bit all over the place. Are you checking your ovulation with sticks? When you have different cycle lengths your ovulation will be hard to predict.
you say 3rd cycle of trying, is that since coming off female contraception?

@KLK94 nope cycle has always been very regular. I always ovulate cd15/16, and confirmed with opks, bbt and ovulation pains. Until the last 3 cycles I always had an 11 day LP.

I haven't been on contraception for about 15 years ! I did have an ectopic pregnancy in July where I lost a tube, so my luteal phases might be irregular from that. I have a follow up from my op soon so will be able ask the gynae consultant, but I doubt it. My cycles remained regular after giving birth to dc as well.

I think doing a SA is always a good thing. We didn't expect DH to have any issues on his side since I've had pcos since I was a teenager. But he has low motility.
So if you've checked and there's nothing it's one less problem!
I agree, they are taking a lot of time and delaying the process for you..
I hope everything works out and if you go for ivf I hope the journey is seamless compared to the experience you've had so far. It must be so frustrating to be dragged along like this.

Does everyone count day of ovulation day as day 0 or day 1 when talking about DPO?

10dpo and another BFN.. if we do try next month I’m going to pledge here that I won’t be testing at all 😂

Hi ladies, not posted much in this thread recently because I annoyed myself by testing at 8dpo and every day since and they've all been bfn of course! I really felt positive this month because I've had sore boobs and mild cramps but it's probably just af gearing up (I'm more like af comes late than early as my cycles are anywhere from 31 to 35 days long). Anyone else feeling really disheartened and readying themselves for TTC November threads? 💐

Woah. According to my apps I was due to ovulate towards the end of the week but now I'm worried I've actually missed my peak? I literally ordered so Clear Blues today intending to use them as the week went on 🤦‍♀️ this is all so stressful. Told DH to get his bum home immediately and get his pants off.

Oh my days. I've lost my mind. I'm on CD12 which is when I usually ovulate (usually 12 or 13) but for some reason I got it into my head I still had until the end of the week. I have no idea how thats happened. I've been so consumed with it all recently but then managed to completely space out on something so important. I'm kicking myself!

Think I might be out this month, have been continuously spotting for the last four days 😔

Implantation bleeding is only a couple of days right?

So I'm guess this is breakthrough bleeding as AF is due on Friday.

@Lushfanatic123 if spotting is not normal for you before your period then you should talk to your doctor.

Has been for the last couple of months, ever since Ttc, not sure why 😔

So confused, I've had cramps in my lower abdomen and lower back (similar to af cramps) all day, woke up with a headache and been feeling a bit down in the dumps. I did a test and it was bfn so assumed af is coming 3 days early (unusual for me but nit completely unheard of). Now I've had some light brown, pinkish spotting with some clear almost ewcm when wiping after going to the loo... probably af coming but I'm slightly concerned 12dpo is quite late to implant? Anyone else had this and it was just af showing up early?

@KLK94 it definitely is but I never start early and I never spot, I need AF to start properly as I've just spent a fortune on the clear blue opks I was planning to use but instead I'm just cramping and spotting it's so unusual for me and frustrating, I knew I was out from 8dpo so I'm not grasping at straws I'm just wondering if anyone else's cycles got messed up when ttc...

yeah my cycles went mental when TTC
my theory is little beans that stick and delay period by a day or 2 but don’t stick long enough to be detected. And visa Versa, just a theory, or something to help rationalise it

haha glad it’s not just me then ha.

I just bashed my tummy while taking the wheelie bin out. And now I feel sick and have a slight cramp in my tummy.
only symptom I’ve had (8dpo) has been tender nipples, so I know this sickness and cramp is because I just bashed myself.

going to get my head down and get some good sleep and try not to be stressed

I am out ladies got my Period. Onto November......

Hi I know I'm late to the October party but hope it's ok to join. Think I'm probably out for this month anyway. Currently cd55. Last cycle was 65 days, the few before that were 29 to 33 days. Been TTC#1 for 6/7 months now. Used ovulation tests first time this month but gave up about day 35 as had been through two boxes. Bbt been high for around 10 days or so but really high about a week. Looks like starting to come down a little today. Right boob very sore yesterday but I'm hcg testing on those super cheap early Amazon tests every day and very much negative. So frustrating not knowing where I'm at in a cycle, when or if I've ovulated, when AF might arrived and having to wait twice as long to start over! Sorry for the rant! I've had a few tests at the doctor's as I had a lot of pain last cycle I think I may have had a cyst but I didn't get a scan until about a month after the pain had subsided so nothing to see but no obvious pcos either. Normal bloods. Who knows
