@Hollie1802 yeah I can only hope! But I think 11 day luteal phase isnt classed as too bad really so might be fine regardless!

I have no idea when my dating scan is. My midwife appointment isnt till the 21st September.
They usually do the dating scan around 12 weeks which is around the 20th October for me. Im hoping its around then or before, honestly so hard waiting not knowing whats going to happen.

@Huriya - i hope it's all good news for you, staying positive is always easier said than done isn't it, fingers crossed you get the invite to your dating scan soon so at least you know you have that booked in

Not that I am going to buy any yet as I know what I'm like, but does anyone have any suggestions for good pregnancy tests? Back in 2021 the go to seemed to be First response but I can't seem to find them anywhere!!

@Hollie1802 I have heard boots early response are good alternatives. I got some of those but so far have only used one and was negative so can’t comment on it 😂

@Hollie1802 I’ve been using the boots “normal” strips (pack of 5 for £4.50). I had to do a bunch following my MMC and they seem pretty reliable. I had a clear blue early detection show a positive at 6dpo for my bfp (which was a genuine positive but ended in mc), but I’ve heard lots of people getting false positives on those

@ginny93 @CatiaR Thank you both!! I really want to be calmer this time round and only test either just before my period or once it's missed (when I last tried in 2021, I just had no patience and tested way too early) but it's so much easier said than done!!

@Hollie1802 frer seem to only be available on Amazon these days. Clear blue early digital seems good as well. And heard lots of good things about boots early response tests so I think I'd go for them personally when I next run out.

@Huriya seems a bit odd they've just told you to wait. Surely someone can do a scan earlier than the dating one! How's your pains and things now?

3dpo here now and only difference is I don't seem to have sore nipples like I usually do straight after ov. Will wait and see, I imagine they'll turn up late.

Trying not overthinking it, still think my body will just give me sore nips in a few days but looking back it seems like my usual sore nipples starts basically immediately after ovulation (two out of the last 3 cycles I still had EWCM when it started) and this time I'm 3dpo and my boobs feel completely normal.

I'm a bit headachy but that is par for the course with me 😅 otherwise waiting and trying not to watch too hard and pay too much attention 👀

I am 7DPO and trying desperately not to symptom spot but I am still having cramps, I keep actually thinking I am going to see AF when I go to the loo but nothing yet. I had a cheeky look at the pregnancy tests in tesco today during the weekly shop whilst my partner was distracted and they had been ransacked!! They only had some £1 strips left, probably for the best, saves me buying them and torturing myself!

@Huriya I'm so sorry that they won't do one early for you, you would think they could make an exception as it's clearly going to cause you so much worry and stress as it would anyone!

Hi everyone, I got a BFP on my 3rd IVF cycle in August. I actually got 2 negative tests but then did another a week later when AF hadn’t arrived and it was a very strong line. I went for an early scan at 6+1 and it’s twins! Got another scan on Friday (7+1) but I am honestly getting myself so anxious about work at the moment. I loved my new job before all of this but now I’m anxious every morning and don’t want to go! It’s definitely due to pregnancy nerves. I think as we go through so much to get to this situation you just feel so nervous! I know I’ll be a bag of nerves for the next 7/8 months!

@Hotmalibu94 - well, this is a really unusually long cycle for me but my natural cycles app predicts AF will be due on Saturday and it's usually dead on. I would love to wait until then and be calm about it 😂 but if I'm being realistic that is unlikely to happen! I suppose the earliest I should test is Wednesday?

How about you? How many DPO are you now?

@Hollie1802 AF is due approx Tuesday 19th so Im going to wait til then :) I'm getting good at waiting to test until af is due 😅

Period started sometime between 16th and 18th (I spotted for a few days beforehand so not sure when to count from)

I tested this morning, potentially 2or4 days out from my period depending on 26 or 28 day cycle. It was 26 since I started earlier on in the year (breastfeeding stopped my periods for 16m) then last month was 28days.

I seen the faintest of faint line on a clear blue 6 day early test so here's hoping it gets stronger and its not an evap.

This would be my second child.

@Hotmalibu94 I really told myself that I was going to be chill this time around and just wait and see if AF came and I do still hope I can do that but...I'm also impatient haha!! I wonder why the sore boobs were delayed 🤔

I’ve not got any tests with me, we went a car at the weekend so will be able to pop to a Walmart to get some of AF still hasn’t arrived and BBT is um still elevated.

I don’t suppose anyone had any idea the best tests to get in the US?

Sorry to jump in but i am literally loosing my mind, I am due for transfer tomorrow 11AM. I have just had a call from the embryologist to advise me the 3 eggs that the 3 eggs that have made it this far are very very slow growing .

They are going to call me tomorrow AM before i attend the clinic to see if they have developed more tonight.
I might have the option to transfer 2?

I feel so lost

Hi all, and welcome to the newbies. CD16 for me and I really don’t think this will be our month. Have struggled to BD due to both me and DH feeling ill throughout fertile week. Temps are all over the place because of being ill and having COVID and flu vaccines, so really don’t rate our chances. Might have ovulated on Saturday or may still be to come, it’s been a frustrating and confusing cycle! Probably out, so hopefully we’ll have better luck next month. Fingers crossed for some BFPs for the rest of you!

@Hollie1802 definitely much easier said than done, I said the same last two cycles and still ended up testing too early, but each month is getting better, using BBT I found that honestly it will tell me if I am out so I might as well just wait and avoid disappointment, will aim to do that this cycle.

@Hotmalibu94 sounds like promising! 5DPO today how are you doing?

@Ncl31 BBT staying high seems positive for now, hopefully you'll have answers soon but at least AF didn't show midflight! 😅

CD7 for me today so still early on my cycle and expecting fertile week next week so will start opks soon, premom and flo predict ovulation in different dates so we will see when I will ovulate this month since last cycle was so late on.

Hopefully this month will be a good one but we will see how it goes!

@CatiaR hey! Almost back to fertile week already! At least you know what to expect with OPKs now after last month's😅
I'm good, 6dpo so officially in implantation territory now. Had a bit of a bbt dip today so will see what it does tomorrow.

@Hotmalibu94 I see! That BBT dip is a mystery I’ve had that at 6dpo last month as well but seen it can happen in non pregnancy charts too so not that accurate but hopefully something positive still since more often than not is positive

@CatiaR I googled and apparently it's because you get a 2nd oestrogen surge midway through the luteal phase which makes your temp drop. It's apparently why you sometimes also get a temp drop the day before ov. Interesting!
