ive not tested yet today. Late last night I got a call from my dad worried his bowel might have ruptured again… he’s an HGV driver but was thankfully only half an hour from home. I went and collected him and took him to A&E.
Turns out he has a kidney stone which has now passed into his bladder.
I left him there last night but got a call to collect him at 06:00 this morning so I was up and out.
interesting chart though….. I’m going to try to hold as I can and probably test then. Obviously it won’t be FMU so will see what occurs.

exciting times ahead

Ive had my ultrasound! They couldnt seem to find little one on the normal scan so they had to do the transvaginal one. They found a tiny flicker of a heartbeat which was a big sigh of relief.. baby is teeny tiny atm measuring 5 weeks 🥺
Butt the bleed below my uterus is still there which is what is most likely causing my cramping. Theyve said its a 'threatened miscarriage'. I really dont know how I should be feeling right now a part of me is happy they found a heart beat and the other part is stressed and full of anxiety. Theres nothing they can say or advice, all I know is I have to wait till my dating scan where they will monitor the bleed again.

@Ncl31 fair enough not doing the test this morning, seems like you had enough on your plate! Your chart seems good though so fingers crossed for you! Let us know if you do manage to test 🤞 hope your dad is doing better now!

@Huriya oh bless you, I'm so glad you got to see your bean. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it all stays ok! Your bean is clearly a little fighter 🥰 a threat is just that, a threat. Doesn't mean it will happen and you just have to stay positive for now that it won't 💕

Hello! I hope no one minds me joining, this is my first month trying - I had a miscarriage in 2021 and decided that it wasn't the right time to try again and so here I am!

I track my temps with natural cycles but if I'm honest I've never paid a blind bit of notice to what my temps are as I was just looking for the 'red and Green' days!!

I am seeming to have a really long cycle for me this month and ovulated on CD24 confirmed with both BBT and clearblue ovulation sticks - so 4 DPO today and the wait is killing me already!! It really helps to read these threads though, keeps my mind off of it!!

@Hollie1802 welcome! TWW is torture 😂

last cycle just gone I was the same ovulating on cd24 so I’m waiting to see how this month will go since my cycles can be a bit all over the place but still somewhat regular 😂

BBT im definitely finding helpful! I'm 2dpo today so not far behind you! My luteal phase seems to be on the shorter side at about 11 days which is the main thing giving me concern now. But trying to be relaxed about it all this cycle! Good luck to you 💕

What's your plan for playing this on holiday?

@Hotmalibu94 im literally just doing holiday as if I wasn’t aware of anything.
I was walking to my gynae consultant friend and he said “people all over the world do things not knowing… the embryo isn’t attached by a string” I fingered he’s probably right. I don’t want to miss out on things and then not be pregnant and regret it all.
If I develop more symptoms I’ll test again but my PCOS screw my cycles up so just going with the flow.
I can feel mild cramping this morning, like super mild but I can feel it.
Itll be Sod’s Law AF will appear mid flight tomorrow so I’m going to wear my period pants tomorrow just incase!

Aw @Ncl31 the not knowing sounds tough! Hopefully you get some clarity one way or another soon!

I’m officially on CD2 now- I was pretty happy all of yesterday morning because hopefully it means everything is back to normal (although I was holding out a tiny bit of hope that I’d get a BFP), until I realised DH and I are likely going to be in separate countries for the entire FW this month. Made me super teary, which never normally happens

Thank you all for being so welcoming - I have been having a few niggles here and there and am definitely hoping as we all do that it's a good sign but also know that it happening first time would be sooo lucky!!

@Ncl31 - I agree, enjoy your holiday! It is so hard though isn't it, to forget as I definitely always have the 'just in case' in the back of my mind!!

@Hotmalibu94 do they say 12days plus is good for luteal phase? I may have made that up!! Although I was reading an old thread the other day and there were a couple of ladies that had a 10 day or less luteal phase and were worried and ended up both conceiving!

@ginny93 I know! Now just got to not drive myself crazy 👀

@Hollie1802 yeah it's hard to know! I've read some articles that said 12-16 is the norm but less than 10 is considered short, then others that said 11 or less is short... so I think I must be on the cusp. Need to try not to worry about it for now I think.
I actually went out this morning to get some high strength vitamin c as I read loads of articles that said that can be good for strengthening the luteal phase and thickening the lining, so I'm thinking of starting that. Read different things about how much to have, but most articles say it's proven over time to increase progesterone levels so if I start now hopefully it will start to help by next cycle if this one doesn't work.

And I really need to cut down on sugar so I'm trying to cut out fizzy drinks 😭

@ginny93 hopefully find out soon but I’ve a very busy 2 weeks in Disney so it’ll be off my mind hopefully.

@Hollie1802 i just want to enjoy our honeymoon and have no regrets.

@Hotmalibu94 - I have heard about vitamin c too, it will be interesting to see if it impacts your cycle! It's mad to me how vitamins can do that!!
