Anyone else 8dpo? Vvfl on easy at home

Swore I wouldn’t test early this month but I bought the easy at home OPK and HCG kit to test for ovulation and have loads of pregnancy tests just sitting there. Ended up testing at 8dpo and got a very faint line. It is early to be testing so i
am surprised a line has shown up. I have read people have got false positives on these.. so I guess I’ll have to continue the wait to find out one way or the other 😭

My kids come in while I was inspecting it so I had to stick it in my pocket which is why it’s covered in fluff 🙈

I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks in March of this year and needed an ERPC. Before that I was on the mirena coil for 7 years and the pill before. I had the mirena removed at the end of October 2022 and fell pregnant in the January - I never actually had a period between coming off contraception and testing positive.
After the miscarriage I have ‘sort of’ had periods with only one day of spotting so I have been charting them as periods as I seem to ovulate (according to LH tests) around 18 days later. My cycles have been about 32 days long.

I think I ovulated on the 21st or 22nd August which would make me only 7 or 8dpo but yesterday I was nauseous in the morning and then had brown discharge in the evening only when wiping. This only lasted for the one time I went to the toilet and had nothing since. I feel a bit bloated but no other symptoms apart from that. I did a test earlier today and had a very faint line, I’ve repeated it now with a LH test too and still showing faint. It’s more visible on the thinner test strip I really have to squint to see it on the easy@home - I’m not sure if I’m convincing myself it’s on the easy@home because I can see it on the other or whether it is there but not as dark! I know some cheapie tests are famous for false positives 🫠

I feel like I could’ve written that myself. I also had a missed miscarriage around march and had surgery to remove it, they then thought it was a molar pregnancy then about a month later told me it wasn’t. I had the coil put it because if you have a molar you can’t get pregnant for a year. I had it taken back out just before I ovulated last month so this is my second month of ttc. The miscarriage was unplanned. I also ovulated around the 21/22. Ive been using opks this whole cycle because I had a nightmare with them last cycle and they went light after ovulation and seem to have gotten a bit darker today, although not positive.

I tried a boots early result after that easy at home but it was negative. I’ve had 3 faint lines on easy at home today. I’ve never had implantation bleeding before but today I did have a strange sharp stabbing pain for about an hour and my boobs currently feel really heavy and full.

I'm 8dpo today! I had a MMC in June so feeling nervous. I took a OPK because I didn't have any preg tests in and it was strong considering I ovulated on CD13. I deffo see your lines

That looks like a strong positive! Mine is darker than it’s been the past few days but not quite positive. I’ve read you can have two peaks because sometimes the egg isn’t released the first time. I have also read it can be a sign of pregnancy or can also happen leading up to AF. I’m interested to see the outcome! Are you going to do a pregnancy test soon?

I was going to try and wait till Monday when I'm due on but will probs test from tomorrow now 🤦🏻‍♀️

Glad I’ve got people at the same point as me!! I’m gonna test again tomorrow if I get more positive I’ll digital probably on Friday.

I’m probably going to test again tomorrow too with an easy at home. I’ll use my last boots early response if I see a decent line. My boots today was negative. I then have a digital to confirm the boots 😂

Bfn for me today with FMU on east at home, yesterdays must have been false positive. I did wake up today feeling really nauseous though.

I’ve gone back to the test and there’s a very faint line once it dried. The boots one from yesterday is completely negative.

I'm 9dpo now, I did a cheapy clear and simple test from Poundland & the line came up straight away, hard to see colour in the picture but I played around with settings to make the colour show, I'm scared!!

I’ve done another this morning and the lines look much the same as yesterday, I know they say hcg doubles 24-48 hours so suppose I’m gonna just have to keep testing to check for progression! Wish I didn’t start testing so early why do I do this to myself lol. I get worried with potential chemical testing this early if there’s no progression but what will be will be!

@Dan521 the exact same happened to me with my last pregnancy I stared at it for ages and convinced myself it was negative and left it on the side. It wasn’t until my partner went to throw it in the bin he saw the two lines - we then rechecked that evening and it was positive! So maybe recheck later on or the morning (if you can wait that long but easier said than done lol)

@spermwhale looks very promising congrats! I do that with the contrast etc like eyes are deffo a thing otherwise lol

The first pic is the first test now that it's dried a bit, the 2nd pic is another test I did 20 minutes ago because I thought I might have had a dodgy test & for fun I did a cheapy strip to see if anything showed up and there's such a faint line on that one as it's not early detection

@frankie15 same here, it doesn’t look any darker but I’ve had multiple faint lines. i tested two with the same urine and one had a faint line and one didn’t. i don’t trust these tests. We’ll just have to wait it out 😭 I had to every symptom of pregnancy last month and wasn’t pregnant 🙈

im going to go and get the early result tests from home bargain they’re only £1 per test and say 6 days early. I went thought god knows how many of them last month and only once was there a faint line which must have been a dodgy test. The million others that I done were all complete negatives.

@Dan521 its crazy cause I was convinced I was pregnant last month too I felt like I ticked most boxes symptom wise but nothing 😂 I feel a bit nauseous this morning but you never can tell if it’s psychological lol.

I may have to do the same! I’m gonna wait till I see some form of progression till I attempt a digital it’s so disheartening when they come back neg 😣

@frankie15 I think the only symptom I didn’t get last month was morning sickness 😂. I must get all those symptoms every month and just don’t notice. So basically I feel like death for half the month every month, that’s half my life I feel rough 🙈. I didnt get any symptoms at all when I had the miscarriage that’s what prompted me to go for an early scan because I just didn’t feel pregnant. The only thing that prompted me to test was my period was a week late I was gob smacked when it was positive.

How strange I literally booked my early scan too because of my symptoms disappearing!! (was supposed to be 9 weeks but measured 6w5d with no heartbeat). I second you on the feeling like death half of the month being a woman is not nice 🤣

I’ve buckled and took a digital I had leftover from last time - was a clear blue early response one. Hoping this is a good sign but will keep checking as technically only like 9dpo today 😂

Have you checked anymore today? My nausea has disappeared today but had 0 appetite and gone off my tea again which I’m addicted to I usually have about 5 cups a day lol.

Congratulations!!! I’d take that as a definite bfp! I’ve tried a couple of other brands including the digital early but they’ve all been bfn 😭 the easy at home tests I have must be a dodgy batch.

Have I got my dpo right? Premom graph is saying I ovulated on CD13 which was the 22nd which would make me 8dpo today? I’m clutching at straws telling myself I’m a day behind your guys and might get a proper bfp tomorrow 😭

@Dan521 I’m sure they say ovulation can occur 24-36 hours after lh rise so I wonder if you did ovulate 22nd or possibly even 23rd? My peak was on the 20th and it says my ovulation day was 21st, so if you’re a day behind then that would make sense! Don’t lose hope yet x

Thank you! Mine was positive for about 3 days. I read that you count ovulation from the first positive. I might be a day or so behind. I’ll test again tomorrow. How are you both feeling after your bfps? Have you told your partners yet? It’s my partners birthday next week I’m hoping to have a bfp in time to surprise him 😬 not sure if I’d be able to keep it to myself though after finding out.

I still feel really nauseas it’s been on and off all day
