Swore I wouldn’t test early this month but I bought the easy at home OPK and HCG kit to test for ovulation and have loads of pregnancy tests just sitting there. Ended up testing at 8dpo and got a very faint line. It is early to be testing so i
am surprised a line has shown up. I have read people have got false positives on these.. so I guess I’ll have to continue the wait to find out one way or the other 😭

anyone else 8dpo want to share the pain of the tww?

@spermwhale ah it can be so worrying but try to relax and enjoy the fact that you’re pregnant. You’ve got so much to look forward to right now getting married and having a baby, enjoy the journey.

I will test tomorrow again and see what happens. It’s my sons birthday party on Saturday so I will be rushed off my feet the next few days prepping for it around work. Hopefully it will keep my mind off things. I’m hoping this nausea is a pregnancy symptoms and not a bug coming right before the party 😑

@Dan521 how was your test today?

frankie15 · 31/08/2023 08:00

@Dan521 keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you this morning!! hopefully like you say the keeping busy will take your mind off things

@spermwhale how exciting a wedding and a baby ❤️

Took some more tests this morning and can see some line progression so fingers crossed I’m heading in the right direction. I was so stressed last time I drove myself mad and I convinced myself I would try and keep my cool this time but it’s so much easier said than done. Woke up this morning with a slight pink tinge on the tissue after a wee but hoping it’s implantation spotting - the surgeon also told me after my ERPC that I have cervical ectropion which apparently can be made worse by the blood flow during pregnancy so it could even be that but it’s just such a stressful time!

let us know how your tests go @Dan521

spermwhale · 31/08/2023 08:03

@frankie15 it is exciting, but so svary - I'm
Suppose to be 6 months pregannt at the wedding but obviously had the MMC so being pregnant again feels like it's meant to be, also I did a due date calculator and baby is 'sue' 13th may, we're getting married the 13th, I'm born the 13th, I have the number 13 tattooed on me. Praying it's a sign of a sticky baby.

I also said I wouldn't test till AF but the positive ovulation test got me thinking, hopefully the blood is implantation. After the MMC I'm dreading seeing blood 🩸 the fear never ends!! I'm glad we can all talk on this forum

Morning all, hope I can join? I'm in the same position a vvvfl on easy@home at 7/8 dpo. I have a baby boy who's 9 months so wasn't actively trying but knew my period is due Saturday/Sunday and have felt a bit out of sorts and having symptoms I had before BFP last time so thought id test. I assumed it would be negative and just AF symptoms but there's a line and the opk was quite dark for
This stage in my cycle. Can you see anything or
Am I going crazy here? X

I realised that it's very very very faint but I'm a bit panicky now 😬 I'll pick up some tests today to try tomorrow morning but who knows? How is everyone else this morning any test updates?

spermwhale · 31/08/2023 10:01

@mrktmummy i see a v v v v v faint line trying to come through!! I've tested again today at 10dpo and still a line there. Altho not darker yet!

@spermwhale those tests look good to me 🤞🏻 have everything crossed for you

Dan521 · 31/08/2023 10:22

Im really busy at work so just giving a quick update. mine is still BFN today I don’t feel nauseas today either. My cycles are usually 28-32 days (never been earlier than 28 days) which means my earliest expected AF day would be 7th September, 8 days away. I’m clinging on to hope
that it’s still too early to test and I’ve ovulated a bit later

@Dan521 8 days away is so long and there's is a lot of time for your BFP!!!

spermwhale · 31/08/2023 10:59

I decided to do one of these tests, should I be concerned the line is so light compared to my other tests?

Dan521 · 31/08/2023 11:15

@mrktmummy ive had loads of faint lines on easy@home it’s sent me into a testing frenzy hoping to get one on another brand but all have been negative so far. If you go on Amazon and click the 1 star reviews there’s loads of people saying they give false positive and some of the pictures are really dark lines. It’s awful that pregnancy tests do that.

@spermwhale youre still only 10dpo some tests might not even pick it up at that stage. You’ve had a lot of positives for such an early stage that’s a good sign. I know it’s easier said than done but try not to worry and enjoy it. I bet if you do a test the day AF is due it will be a dye stealer.

im convincing myself I can see a line on the one I done this morning that’s so faint no one else will be able to see it 😂 I think my brain is playing tricks on me. I wish I hadn’t got those faint lines on the easy@homes it’s set me off to try get a line on another test.

@Dan521 maybe an indent then although I've never had that with them before but you never know, you're not yet fingers crossed x

Dan521 · 31/08/2023 12:05

@mrktmummy i dipped two in the same urine pot one was complete negative and the other had a faint line, I was as getting faint lines on them about 3 days ago. I’ve tried pretty much every other early detection brand since then and they’ve all been BFN, I’d have expected at least one of them to had even a squinter by now. I’m not saying yours won’t turn into a BFP I’m just saying I don’t trust them and it got my hopes up when I first seen it.

@mrktmummy i know you said you wasn’t actively trying and your little one is only 9 months it can be daunting finding out you’re pregnant when you have one so young. My oldest was 11 months when my second was born 🙈 they’re the same age for a month each year. I was mortified when I found out I was pregnant again so soon 😂 my oldest used to lie across my bump while I was breastfeeding him. It was hard work at times but they’re 14 and 15 now and they’re so close I’m glad they have a close age gap. My youngest will be 11 this weekend and here I am wanting to start all over again 🙈

mrktmummy · 31/08/2023 13:11

@Dan521 oh my gosh that is a close age gap! Hats off to you I think I'd have breakdown haha! I'm not ready for another if I'm honest but I would be happy if I were pregnant but I think it was an indent earlier, I'll try another test later but I have no tests of different brand until tomorrow. Oh wow 11 then trying again how long have you been TTC if you don't mind me asking? Hope it turns out as a BFP for you 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Dan521 · 31/08/2023 14:20

This is only my second month ttc, it’s really weird for me not to just get pregnant straight away because I’ve been pregnant many times and none have been planned, this is my first time actively trying. I got pregnant with my son while on the coil, I’ve calculated my fertile week in the past and not dtd around that time etc and still managed to get pregnant. Here I am now though actively trying and and it may not happen as quickly as I expected. Sod’s Law isn’t it 😂

The nausea is back though hopefully it’s a sign 🤞

mrktmummy · 31/08/2023 15:03

@Dan521 ah that's frustrating 😬 fingers crossed for you x

Dan521 · 31/08/2023 15:15

The test that I done this morning that I thought I could slightly see something but wasn’t sure if I was making it up and it was too faint to pick up with the camera... I’ve done the same test again this afternoon and it looks slightly more visable. I’ve popped the top off because it has a shiny plastic cover and the light reflects off it when taking a photo. It seems too far to the left though it might be from the edge of the case digging into it.

@Dan521 I can see that and it's in the right place I think? What test is it?

Dan521 · 31/08/2023 15:33

It was one of those early detection tests from home bargain, clear and simple 6 days early I think it’s called.

mrktmummy · 31/08/2023 15:42

@Dan521 ah ok, I definitely see it 🤞🏻 when will you test again? X

spermwhale · 31/08/2023 16:45

@Dan521 I definitely see that line

Dan521 · 01/09/2023 07:14

Bfn for me this morning 😭
