Ive a long old story but I won’t bore you with it unless you’re interested… I’m 31 TTC our first, and currently 9dpo with a chemical way back in November. I’m just looking for some company and hopefully some positive vibes between the group so someone… anyone gets their BFP! Hopefully me too of course 🤞
We all need a little bit of positivity so let’s do this together ✨

@Yolo23 i know it’s so hard to keep taking the dog somewhere and keeping the house show standard . Sorry to hear about the cash buyer but maybe that wasn’t meant to be and something better is coming for you ! I’m due af Saturday by one app and Monday by Flo . But it’s on her way as I’m cramping , woke up in the night with my usual pre period toothache . I’m at work feeling so down .

@Daniki are you usually that heavy ? Hope it’s eased off today ! And you’re starting the higher dose . Woooooo

@Yolo23 @Daniki got my results doctors receptionist said all fine and satisfactory . But I cannot understand the levels if I put on here could you ladies have a look ? Xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood what was the level did they say? Yea I always get one heavy day and the rest is fine, and it lasts 7 days! 😖 started the higher dose today 🙌 xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood cross post! So 51 is good, most doctors look for over 30 and some over 50, if it's over 30 you've defo ovulated so I'd be happy with that! Not sure on the others what they mean tho! Xx

@Daniki they have said that there’s no infertility and my levels are good . Not sure where I go from here xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood ask for a hsg to check your tubes, it's also a good way to flush them out! Has your partner been tested too? Xx

@Daniki i will ask for that test . No he hasn’t but he has got a child so don’t think it’s even occurred to him that it could be him . And he’s happy with he’s child if you know what I mean isn’t like me who desperately wants one so I’m not sure now . I really thought I was going to be not ovulating . A seven day period how do you cope ? Lol xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood my husband thinks in the same way, even tho in sick of telling him his sperm quality can decline--and he's took up smoking again! Like banging my head of brick wall 🤯 haha I know it's so annoying but after then one heavy day it's light so it's grand!
Do you do anything for yourself to relax? Like acupuncture or anything? I took up acupuncture last year after my first miscarriage and found it great! After my second I only went a few times and regretting not keeping it up but the lady worked odd hours. I'm starting reflexology again next week hoping to destress!
I think it helps get out of our heads, after my first loss last year the urge I had to get pregnant again honestly was so over whelming it was awful so I can only imagine how yours must be after your loss ❤️ xx

@Daniki AF has arrived with a vengeance! I was really poorly in work but luckily my strong meds sorted the pain - it does mean that I can have a blood test tomorrow so it’ll be good to get that ticked off the list…

hahahahhaa the nappy comment made me laugh - I know the feeling as I’m sat here with a tampax in AND a pad. Horrible times but I’m happy we’re moving onto the next cycle and this months period is normal WOOO! It was 33 days last time which is not normal for me.

@Tottenhaminmyblood great to hear your results are normal! I second what Daniki said about the HSG test. I’ve no clue how the levels work so I’m pretty useless. I don’t think I have ever had a progesterone test - definitely not within the past 7 years anyway… I will ask for one but mindful that I may as well wait for the IVF specialist.

My boss was quite funny today when I told her about my bloods.. she’s such a mum figure and she knows about our IVF plan - she was starting to get excited saying ooo this time next year you will hopefully be pregnant! As lovely as that is, my coping mechanism is to accept we have a plan but not jump to conclusions - bless her though, so sweet. Outside of my OH and a best friend, she’s the only other one that knows we’re on this journey to IVF. Which is mental! 😂

@Yolo23 I'm not the only one then I have to wear both aswell! Defo not normal 😂 hopefully eases off for ya, it's horrible! Good to get bloods done it feels positive and puts ya in a good mind set!
I think that's great your boss is sound about it, at least you know you'll have support from her when the time comes 😁 what bloods do you need to get done or just general? Xx

@Daniki yeah I’m a bit like you with the one day of HEAVY HEAVY and then it eases. I’m around 7 days too in total with spotting before!

Yeah I just hope I can have them done early as I just realised I actually need to be in work ASAP in the morning as I’ve arranged a meeting ughhh. I was told to go to the hospital so I wonder if they have opening times for bloods.. surely its like 8am onwards do you think!?

I need day 2-4 bloods to see how my AMH reserve is or something. I’m not 100% sure and doubt I’ll see any results until I meet with the IVF cons xx

@Yolo23 I'd say it is 8am that's what the hospital would be here! Hopefully 🤞🏻 you'll have to call in a bomb threat otherwise to work 😂 interesting we've the same period, I think you should look about the progesterone test as I think that's the reason mine is like this! Xx

@Daniki well… what a day 🤣

Started off by trying to call my GP at 8am to see if I could just go there, in a queue for half hour - told no, to go to hospital.

I get to hospital, they wouldn’t see me in the blood test area so ended up going to ante natal (which is where I was also seen for fertility).

The nurse attempts to take blood and couldn’t, she tries my other arm and couldn’t get enough blood so suggests that I go sit in reception and have a glass of water and she’ll call me in 10 mins… I had horrendous pains with my period and with the whole blood situation, all of a sudden feel really hot and clammy. I’m starting to go starry eyed and faint so I quietly mention it to the lady next to me who goes into a complete panic and shouts NURSE NURSE 🤣🤣

A nurse comes and takes me to lie down, I’m sick and luckily don’t faint but I have to call it a day and get my zapain and go home - so fair to say it was unsuccessful and unexpectedly dramatic pmsl.

I said I’d try again tomorrow LOL. What a pain in the arse! When I was led on the bed, another nurse came in and starts asking me how many weeks I was too 😅🤣 I had to explain I was there for fertility but it does baffle my brain that this hosp has maternity and fertility in the same area xx

@Yolo23 sorry to hear about your awful day yesterday and hope you can go in for testing today ! Keep us updated . I’m not sure why hospitals do this either very strange to me . I’m just currently waiting for af to show herself , cramping awfully and I’ve been crying all morning so emotional xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood hope you're ok! I get awful emotional aswell just before AF. On day 5 now so 2 more days and the back down to business 😂 the higher dose is making me awful dizzy that's the only thing 🤔 but be grand only 2 days left of it! Xx

@Daniki @Tottenhaminmyblood hello ladies! Well today was a farce too 🤣 different nurses there - so feeling hopeful. One lady tried both arms and couldn’t get any blood, then another lady tried one arm and couldn’t. She went over to the bloods dept and they said they couldn’t just fit me in and I’d need to book an appt for next week (which would have been completely useless as I’m day 3 today and need day 2-4 bloods lol)… anyway, she came back and had another go to no success!!

So I was heading out the hosp, thinking I’d have to give it another go next month and I thought nah bugger this so I went and gave a sob story to the bloods dept and told them I’d had 7 needles in 2 days so they agreed to do it and got it first time!!! 😅 honestly… my arms are in bits lol. But atleast it’s bloody done. Who’d have thought there’d be so many issues for a blood test lol.

Ive got a few more days of AF and then we’re back in the game!

I hope you’re doing ok this evening - I see emotions are running high @Tottenhaminmyblood … a nice bath and glass of wine is what I’ve just enjoyed. A Chinese is on order too. Thankfully my OH knows the score and what’s required 😂 he hates needles so I think he thinks I’m a hero after today lol xx

@Yolo23 would you normally have issues with veins? I used to get an infusion every 6 weeks and can only use one arm as had an artery bypass on the other and my veins are shot to shit! But i drink a good bit of water before hand and make sure you're warm! Such a melee for ya but at least it's done now 🙌 Chinese wine and bath sounds Devine! Sitting on the toilet here while my son is splashing the bath water absolutely everywhere 😂xx

Hope you’re both having a lovely start to the weekend @Yolo23 @Daniki : I just put a deposit on a puppy I am so excited ! Af still hasn’t arrived so I guess the Flo app is right just haven’t gone over 28 days in a cycle for a long time . What you both up 2 ? Xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood oh fab! What kind of dog? 😍😍 someone told me having a dog improves fertility 😂 I got a dog in 2020, had been trying a while and then got pregnant 2
Months later so who knows 😂 not slot happening here down visiting family for the wknd! Xx

@Daniki i have a goldendoodle but have wanted an Old English sheepdog for so long 💙is it like the new home new baby thing maybe ? That’s lovely your visiting family , have you travelled far ? I’m going to go to our village fireworks tonight I think xx

@Tottenhaminmyblood oh they're gorgeous dogs! 😍😍 maybe that's what it is? Not too far they're 90 mins away but they don't get to see my son as after as they like so we'll stay down for the wknd! Xx
