Well had a slight bleed this morning after BD'ing and was concerned that my usual pre-AF spotting had turned up even earlier than ususal but there has been no more so I think DP had 'hit' something to cause the bleed

I cracked yesterday and bought some HPTs. They're sitting on top of my toilet, taunting me. But I willl NOT test until Friday. I feel it's like a battle of wills between me and TEW now. I just know that if I blink first and test before Fri, that she'll be back with a vengeance for her normal monthly visit within 24 hours....... [determined face]

My blood results will be a couple more weeks and have just put my scan appt back a week to 3rd April as my calcs mean that original appt would have coincided with AF which is not ideal for an internal scan. Lady on the phone confirmed that am having an abdominal scan and an internal one - hopefully they'll find the problem and I'll get all fixed up soon ! Loads of luck for Friday

Mibbes - frustrating to have to delay the scan but much better than to have turned up for it and then found out it wasn't a good time to have it. Hope it all goes well.

Just to be selfish for a mo, I'm interested to hear the outcome, because the pre-bleeds you're getting is something that I get too, although they only started last November (at exactly the time I started ttc!). They were much less last month and (fingers so firmly crossed they're practically breaking) I've had nothing so far this month. I think I read in the Zita West book that it was somehow related to levels of progesterone, but - frustratingly - she didn't go into any more detail.

But if it's a hormone thing, that should hopefully be fixable, so stay positive!!

Treats yes Zita says it could be a luteal phase defect caused by progesterone lowering too soon (which can be fixed) or fibroids which can usually be fixed or endometriosis (sp?) which can be temporarily fixed. Goodness knows what I have but just want to know and get ot sorted ! It could be something more sinister but am not even going there as there is no point in worrying about something that hasn't happened

Jaamy having day 21 bloods done on Weds and then should have the results back a week later. Lots of love and luck for later.

It's my 21 day test and yes I will have to wait until after 2pm. Not sure if the nurse will be able to tell me anything about anything, perhaps I have to see the doc?

BS Hope AF stays away. The doctor said I will have to see her for my results so we can discuss them.
ClairePO I think they are testing to check my progesterone levels after OV. Does anyone else know if this is right? They are also doing a full blood count, checks for thyroid and diebeties (sp?) and blood sugar I think.

Hi Ladies and especially MollieMooma for asking how I am feeling. I still feel awful. My husband is flying back a day early because I am so ill. My SIL just dropped around with dinner. I just can't seem to shake the high temp and headache. I haven't been ill since Jan 2007. I am usually lucky I don't get ill very often, but when I do....god I feel like I am dying .

Blood taken ok last night. Apparently my hormone level was only 69 with test from Monday. They want it to double so we will see what happens when I call back this evening for results. Will try to keep myself busy today.
