Hi casper and thanks! I was told that ewcm comes before ovulation and sure enough this month had ewcm for about three days and each day a -ve opk then on the fourth day had a +ve opk. So I guess its best to bd as much as poss over the next few days!!

Thinking of you jaamy, hope you get a good result

How embarrassing having to wait outside the school office . Once at school some boys in my class went through all the girls bags at lunchtime to look for towels and tampons so they could see who had started their periods .

I find AF arrives when I am wearing my best knickers, so I've got some horrible old ones on today . Hope she stays away from all those expecting a visit.

BSS - thanks for EWCM tip - but mine seems to have only lasted 1 day! Nevermind, will carry on the BDing regardless.

casper you may well get EWCM for a few days prior to ov so good work jumping on DH as some ladies only get it for 1 day. Once it has dried up then you know ov has happened, best tip is to keep busy until you are sure it has gone. opks are good if they work but some ladies find they don't so you are right to rely more on EWCM as a guide - good luck xx

Got a phone call from my doctor this morning, she said my progesterone levels through the roof! over 200 from 40..... recommends that i do a test asap.

..... anywoo did a clear blue this morning and it was a very faint +

dont want to get to excited after last months disaster, but for once DH is really excited. he normally likes to wait for doc confirmation and never believes the tests or gets excited. he reckons i "seem" pregnant. i'm not technically due for another 5 days so might wait until then and do another test

Was wondering of u could help me figure out my cycle?

My period started on 25th of feb and i had a little bit of weird spotting last week that i dont know wht it is.

I was wondering if you could help me find out when i ovulated i think i have a normal 28 day cycle so id like to know when to test and when i ovulated!

Hi confusedttc! You normally ovulate 10 - 14 days (your luteal phase) before the end of your cycle so if we assume 14 then you ovulate on day 14. That would have been 9th Feb so you're about 9 days past ovulation. If you ovulate 10 days before the end of your cycle you'd be 5 dpo.

As to when to test, I would try to give it a few days. I know that is difficult but the test won't pick up the hormone if you're 5-9 dpo and a bfn is never nice.

I read that the 14 day thing was not really an accurate way to do it. Not every woman has the same length cycle.
