fairydust - so sorry for BFN. Good thinking though, good that you're so relaxed about testing. You'll get there in the end - your bean just wants to make a grand entrance

Congrats on your graduation, twinkling. Take care of you.

Here's an update...I'm sooo glad I'm on this thread. You've all been lovely to a newcomer.

Thanks for reminding me about LWH, Ei. Phoned them this am and am going to go in for exam this evening when DH gets home. Thankfully he is working locally this week.

Emmsy and sparkly - bleeding started about the same time as AF due, perhaps a day or two early which is why I was unconcerned until I started feeling sick and bleeding carried on a few days longer than usual. I didn't have any implantation bleeding with either of last 2 pgs.

Have tested again (couldn't help myself) and have same feint line. Part of me is hoping that it is just due to HCG left over from m/c. I would worry myself to death for 8 months thinking that the bleeding has damaged the little bean.

JaamyButty · 17/03/2008 10:58

Thanks NOAM - crossed posts. Taking me ages to post with DD1 still poorly and DD2 fighting for attention!

ajh28 · 17/03/2008 11:08

hi.

Any room for me in TTC waiting room.

I'm TTC#3 but not sure what all the other abbrevs mean. I'm new to this!!

piper1984 · 17/03/2008 11:20

Hi Ajh28

come in, grab a seat and make yourself at home!

heres some of the other abbrevs

cd = cycle day
opk = ovulation predictor kit
bfp = BIG FAT POSITIVE!!! (pregnancy test)

you'll find the rest in the acronym list under useful stuff on the top of the page

ajh28 · 17/03/2008 11:27

Thanks piper1984

It'll be nice to be able to chat to people who know how you feel when yet another month goes by.

beaniesteve · 17/03/2008 11:30

sigh... am getting aches in my tummy. Period due on Thursday. I am like clockwork. CM kind of cheesy and dry ....

piper1984 · 17/03/2008 11:42

Ajh28 yeah, this ttc is definetly not as easy as it looks! its nice to be able to talk to other people going through the same thing. i've added you to the list. dont have your stats tho.

Beanie Oh pants! Thought we were going to get another BFP - but you never know, might get lucky yet!
AJ Hi and welcome, glad you've found us, you'll get loads of support and advice from the girls on here. They are fab!
Jaamy Hope you've got an appointment and you can get sorted one way or the other soon hun we'd like to get excited for you!

Hope everyone else is OK today? Visited my new newphew in special baby care yesterday, he was so tiny but so cute! Didn't handle the news well when he was born Friday but visiting him was wonderful, can't wait to be able to cuddle him!

ajh28 · 17/03/2008 12:22

I think my stats are CD10 Cycle 7 TTC#3

BrightShinySun · 17/03/2008 12:49

Hi ajh28 I'm a newbie too and even though its my 1st cycle ttc I already feel I'd be lost without this thread! Everyone has sooo much knowledge!!

Sparkly I probably won't test to be honest, af not due till sun but already have light cramps so will probably turn up over the next few days. I knew the chances of me getting pg in 1st month were slim to none so been trying to concentrate on working out ovulation more than anything!

BrightShinySun · 17/03/2008 12:49

Oh good luck for this evening jammy keep us posted.xx

mibbes · 17/03/2008 13:47

ajh28 welcome to the thread - hope your stay is short
Jaamy am so glad you are getting checked out - hope the news is good missus {{{{hugs}}}}
BSS keep us informed - how many dpo are you ?
Any news from my other CB JosieJellybean ?

I had day21 bloods taken today - will be ages before I get results though - poo.

BrightShinySun · 17/03/2008 14:05

Hi mibbes will do! Think i ovulated thur so only 4dpo, going to keep an eye on it coz if i come on over the next few days could have an issue with my LP. Its your scan soon isnt it?

SparklyMummy · 17/03/2008 14:08

Mibbles I spoke to JJB last night. She said she hasn't been in here for a few days because she's been busy at work.
Jaamy I'm so glad they are seeing you later. Good luck hun. xx
Welcome AJH. Hope you don't have to wait too long for a BFP.
Bright Hope AF doesn't get you. Some very lucky people do get pg the first month so fingers crossed for u.
Mollie I mentioned that my nephew was born 2 weeks a go. It's lovely to have a cuddle but you can't help wishing you had your own LO to cuddle.
Hi to HCB Piper Ei and FL
waves to NOAM.

Treats · 17/03/2008 14:19

Hi everyone.

Will be mostly moping about here this week as I can't think about anything else just at the moment. I'm on day 28 today (or day 27 according to the list?) and no sign of TEW. Last two cycles were 28 and 27 days, so she should definitely be on the way.

Although......

I've had incredibly sore breasts - much worse than normal; I've been to the loo five times already today; I've been really tired and hungry all weekend and I've had lots of cramping.

But I would probably have said the same last month, too......

So, how's everyone else?? Glad you got an appointment for this evening Jaamy. Hopefully it'll put your mind at ease. It's scary how crap some doctors can be, though.

Hi to ajh28 and hope the thread brings you luck!!

JaamyButty · 17/03/2008 14:42

Oh treats, hope it's good news for you.

Welcome ajh!

Mollie - the thought of your tiny little nephew mad me go all gooey and smiley. Let's hope we all have our own little bundles soon!

BSS - any reason why you might not be pg? I know it's difficult to get your hopes up in case they are dashed. Did it take you long to get pg with #1?

Time seems to have frozen here. Whiling away hours until I can get to Maternity ER. Really nervous but excited. Daren't hope for a sticky bean.

Treats · 17/03/2008 14:56

Fingers crossed Jaamy. Is it Liverpool Women's Hospital you're going to? I saw it on telly last week (doc called 'Pramface Babies' on C4) and all the staff seemed really caring and in tune with the women's needs - hope that's the experience you get.

I cried buckets when each of the babies was delivered. It was really emotional.

Good luck Jammy treats my period due on Thursday - am not expecting too much but good luck for yours too. Hope it doesn't come.

Treats · 17/03/2008 15:17

I'm going to be very patient this time round and not test until Friday. Partly because I can't bear getting a BFN and then thinking "but I could STILL be pregnant", but also because I won't have a chance to buy an HPT until then, and I don't have any in the house.

Also, DH can be there when I do it (not right in the loo with me, obv!) and we can share the news. Whether it's good or bad, I don't want to be on my own when we find out.

Having said that, I have a job interview tomorrow and I might be desparate to know one way or the other once I come out of that......

Nope - DEFINITELY not testing until Friday. Move AWAY from the test.....
